Charming Remodeled Historical Cottage 2 Blocks to Beach & Town

This adorable 1920's historical cottage has been completely remodeled and updated in 2011. You will find everything you need in this cozy cottage for a wonderful beach vacation! Located two short blocks to Main Beach and downtown, and a two minute walk to Laguna's favorite restaurants and shops.

Our cottage has two bedrooms: the master bedroom has a queen bed while the second bedroom has two twin beds. The updated bathroom has a shower and a tub. The fully-stocked, eat-in kitchen has been upgraded with all new appliances (refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, and dishwasher) as well as a built in water filter for fresh drinking water. The LG full sized washer and dryer are brand new.

You will find all the comforts of home in our spotless cottage, including a 49'' flat panel TV with advanced programming cable and WIFI internet. All linens and utilities are provided, and weekly maid service can be arranged for an additional fee. The cottage also has a small, fully fenced in ocean view backyard for your enjoyment.

You will have everything you need to enjoy the perfect Laguna Beach vacation. And with the close proximity to town and the beach, you will have no need for a car!

Perfect beach cottage in the heart of the village

We stayed in the gorgeous yellow cottage for 3 months when relocating to Laguna and looking for a longer term home. The home is laid out just as the photos show, with quality offerings and everything you could need to feel right at home. It is small and quaint, but that is to be expected in the heart of LB. It is well laid out and not over furnished so we did not feel cramped. I compare Alison's cottage to others I have stayed at where I have constantly realized day to day things you need are missing and are equip - this home is the total opposite. Everything is there, you will not sleep on polyester sheets or a bad mattress! This is reflected in Alison's care and commitment to her guests also. She was respectful of our privacy and never showed up unannounced, but at the same time she checked on us and anything that needed dealing to was sorted immediately. The location and proximity to the village, beach and best streets of Laguna is absolutely perfect, you really could not be in any better location for a holiday spot. Overall we loved our stay and would without doubt recommend the home to friends visiting from out of town.

Gorgeous cottage in great location

I stayed a month at the cottage and LOVED IT. It is in an excellent location, I could hear the waves from the bedroom. It's spacious, well stocked, comfortable, cosy and just the best! Walk 5 mins to the beach and to downtown Laguna. Don't need a car, walk everywhere! Alison was very helpful and lovely. I highly recommend this cottage for your Laguna vacation!

Magnificent retreat!

The cottage was exactly what we had hoped for - Alison gave us incredible service and attention. The stay was so relaxing, the house very inviting, and the ambiance perfect. We will definitely stay there again in 2017!

Great Cottage by the Beach

This cottage is wonderful. We stayed for the month of August, and it was a dream. My husband and I lived in the village of Laguna Beach for years. We come back every year to share the magic of Laguna Beach with our two daughters, 5 & 7. We've never stayed in the same place twice, but I think that may change. Not only is the owner, Alison, a complete joy to work with, the cottage is perfect. Amazing location. All the amenities you need. No need for a car, but it has a garage spot, which is amazing and impossible to come by in the village. We usually show up and find that the place is much smaller than the pictures, but this cottage was even bigger than we expected with a great kitchen, and a little yard with a grill and table for outdoor eating. We only wish there was a more comfy couch to snuggle on, but that was our only complaint. We felt so at home, no one wanted to leave.

Lovely, cosy cottage with perfect backyard

This is a lovely, comfortable cottage with a cosy backyard, perfect for our family with two kids. Walking distance to beach, shops, restaurants and playgrounds. The owner is so nice and helpful. We had a lovely, relaxing stay here and highly recommend it.

Home away from home.

I had the privilege of staying in this cottage for the month of October. It was cozy, comfortable and had all I needed. Any issues that came up were promptly addressed by the owner. Her genuine desire to make my stay pleasant was evident throughout my stay. I was able to easily access yoga, hiking, biking, ocean sports, the farmer's market, art classes and personal training with ease. I was made to feel like a local with all the comforts of home, so much so that I chose to extend my stay into November. I guess that pretty much says it all.

Lovely, classic Laguna cottage in prime location

This lovely, bright and airy classic Laguna Beach cottage was completely renovated four years ago. It is in a prime location within walking distance to the beach, hikes, beautiful walks, restaurants and galleries. It has very livable space with a backyard patio, and a small garage for a car. The owner is pleasant and responsive. We have enjoyed our stay here for the last three years.

Perfect, Perfect, Perfect!

I stayed in the yellow cottage for 2 months during my first visit to Laguna Beach. It is charming, immaculate, well stocked and in a perfect location. A few blocks from the beach (beautiful view from the front door), and a block off of town. I walked into town for my coffee, for my food, to the movie theater, and down to the beach for wandering, sitting or day dreaming. Alison, the owner, is extremely helpful and always available. This was a great launching location for hiking in the area, biking, shopping, etc... I'm coming back to stay in April and plan to come regularly from then on. Definitely stay here, I recommend it without reservation.

Great cottage for family of four

Very nice cottage close to Main Beach and many restaurants in Laguna. Cottage was well appointed with everything necessary to feel at home. Fully stocked kitchen. Washer and dryer were a plus. My family of two adult and two boys (15,11) had a great time.

Charming cottage in great location - highly recommended

This is a great vacation rental for couples or small families wanting to be close to all that Laguna Beach has to offer. Alison, the owner, is superb - she is friendly, helpful and genuninely cares that the cottage meets your expectations. The whole process of booking was seamless and the cottage exceeded our expections. It is clean, well furnished (in a way which seems in keeping with the coastal location) and has a real 'homely' feel. We loved it and have actually stayed there twice. Downtown and the beach are both 2 blocks away (although the hill is pretty steep) so it was easy to wander in and out of town and to and from the beach. The only slight negative is the house is slightly overlooked by the property next door but this really did not bother us. We felt totally at home, loved being in the house and in Laguna and will be back.

GREAT PLACE!

This cottage was perfect for what we needed.It had a cool nastalgic feel with all the rigt updated features,kitchen,appliances,up dated bathroom and the bedrooms had very comfortable beds,it was a home away from home for us.Great little place close to the beach and everything within walking distance. Nice little backyard to relax and enjoy a book or just kick back. The owner Alison was great and very acommidating, if anything was needed she was a text or phone call away. when we first arrived she was there to greet us with a bottle of wine. She also had a great 3 ring binder she had put together with reastraunts and other info about Laguna and surrounding areas, very nice touch... all in all a great place to stay and we will recommend to all our friends and family, we will be back! THANK YOU ALISON!

Perfect Location, Great House, and Friendly and Responsive Owners

If you are looking to be right near the action of downtown Laguna, this is the house for you. The house is on a hill, but they all are in Laguna so that is not odd. You have a 2-3 block walk down to Main Beach but could also walk to other beaches such as Thailia. The tidepools and Heisler Park are right there too. Given the location, you are also 2-3 blocks from all the restaurants. We walked to get coffee each day and never had to use the car unless we left the area (e.g., we drove to the Montage Hotel for lunch as it is in South Laguna so is about a 10-12 minute drive depending on traffic which can be heavy on PCH if you go at the wrong time). We walked to Ralphs and Whole Foods from the cottage. The house itself is adorable and there is a view of the ocean from the front. It was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed. The owners were very responsive. They ensured check-in went smoothly and reached out during our stay to make sure all was going well. We were even greeted with a bottle of wine upon arrival. We have two small children (ages 3.5 and 2) and the closed in back-yard was perfect for them so we didn't have to worry while we were hanging around the house. The house would be fine for older children/teenagers too. Overall, I know you will love your stay at the Cottage. We plan to return.

Amazing!

The cottage is absolutley adorable! My husband and 2 children stayed here for 2 weeks. The home is as shown in the pictures. Just perfect.Its walking distance to the beach and downtown. Alison is great to work with, very helpful. I needed a juice jug and she brought one over very quickly and promptly. The home is very well cared for and clean. The back yard is absolutely perfect to sit in and have your morning coffee or a glass of wine. I give this place 5 stars. I cant wait to come back next year!!

All the comforts of home in this sweet yellow cottage!

This charming yellow cottage was definitely a home away from home for us. Centrally located and an easy walk to downtown and the beach, it had everything we needed to relax in a comfortable vacation retreat. The cottage was spotless and well appointed. It was decorated with great care, had many charming touches; and really, the photos don't do it justice. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and enjoyed the cozy backyard complete with gas grill. The appliances were almost new and the beautiful washer and dryer were a real bonus. Great flat screen high definition TV too. Although the home is on a busy street, that wasn't a big problem for us. Upon our arrival, the owner, Alison, warmly welcomed us at the cottage and responded to our every need. It's easy for us to recommend this charming place to friends and relatives.
