Enjoy the Lake House sunrise and sunset on the large front porch of a big front yard on a quiet culdesac.
Take in the spectacular view of Lake Windemere and the Canadian Rockie Mountains! A two block walk to the Station Pub, Copper City Saloon, bus transportation to the Panorama Ski Resort, Kinsmen beach, and downtown Invermere.
An open concept grand room with fireplace is furnished for comfort with wifi, a large L-shaped chesterfield, 52' cable TV, DVD player with a library of movies, books and games.
The dining table expands to seat eight, the surrounding kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, dishware and utensils to help prepare a big or simple meal.
Gather in the back patio to roast wieners and smores in the open wood burning fireplace.
The covered back patio off the grand room also hosts a barbecue that is big enough to multi task a perfect summer feast for family and friends.
Master bedroom: queen bed, twin night stands, large walk-in closet and en suite bathroom. Lots of room for crib/playpen.
Blue bedroom: queen bed with single bunk overhead with dresser, reading light, chair and closet.
Green bedroom: queen bed with single bunk overhead with dresser, reading light, chair and closet.
All beds have freshly laundered duvet covers, sheets, pillow cases and mattress protectors. All mattresses are new and extremely comfortable.
The spacious front room with French doors will allow for privacy or quiet time. Sit back and enjoy the view through the large bay window. Feel the afternoon sunshine, relax, read, do a puzzle on the big coffee table or listen to your favorite tunes.

We wanted to share our Authentic Lake House's breath taking view, and conveniently located property with others to make Vacation memories in the Valley!! We are hear if anything is needed only....We treasure each, and every guest who visits us. Perfect Family Getaway! Our family had the most wonderful stay at this VRBO property, and we couldn't have asked for a better family vacation. The property is outstanding—spacious, beautiful front garden, immaculately clean, and equipped with all the amenities. The stunning front patio offered breathtaking views of the lake and mountains—our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening family suppers. The owners were delightful to deal with—kind, and thoughtful. Thank you Wendy and Doug for your warm hospitality. We can’t wait to see you next summer!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lakehouse. The location was excellent, it was very well stocked (especially the kitchen), everything was comfortable...and the view!! Thanks Wendy and Doug for a great week.

Truly Lovely Lakehouse

2nd visit to the Lakehouse!

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at the Lake House and enjoyed the property again this year! It's a comfortable home with lots of spots for everyone to hang out together or to take a time out on your own. Thank you Wendy!

Lakehouse

We loved staying at the Lakehouse! The view was beautiful and it was just a short walk to the lake. It was clean and accommodated our large family perfectly! Wendy was more than kind to provide cookies on our arrival and then dropped off homemade jam and banana bread throughout the week. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful hospitality!

Wendy and Doug go far above and beyond to make your stay an enjoyable one. Everything you would need is available. The only challenge we had was that there was no air conditioning in the summer, especially when there was a heat wave. Otherwise, we highly recommend this property to families!

Beautiful lake house

We enjoyed our stay at the lake house very much. The house is fully stocked and has everything you need. It is overlooking a lake that is within a short walking distance. The owners are very friendly and polite and will answer any questions you have. We were welcomed with freshly baked cookies and were also gifted with a delicious rhubarb jam. Thank you, Wendy and Douglas, we hope to see you again soon!

Another great stay at the lake house!

We returned to the Lake house for a second time, and its stil a perfect home away from home, containing everything you could need during our stay, even down to the pool noddles for fun at the beach. Our teenagers loved the fact they were a short (10min) bike ride to the beach and bakery! When we weren't on the beach, we were either soaking up the amazing view of the lake from the front deck. Wendy and Douglas were great hosts, from the freshly baked cookies on arrival, to the fresh rhubarb and banana bread for the journey home, they both made us feel right at home. Thanks Wendy and Doug!

Beautiful view…..

We could live here says it all…..well equipped family home with friendly on site [next door ] owners. Invermere is a lovely town..we visited three beaches….also did the Golden Skybridges, Radium and Fairmont Hot Springs, Fort Steele and many forest hikes. Had barbecues and s’mores at the Lake House most evenings enjoying that lovely view. Only downside was the bottom double bunk that my son and his wife used…a double and single bed in that room may have been better. …but all in all a lovely place for a family break…thanks Wendy and Doug….

Relaxation with the deer

The Lake house has great holiday virtues. The view of the lake and surrounding mountains is awesome. The location is quiet in the evenings and the house is cool during the day even in 30deg. Spacious, nice amenities and a good selection of movies makes an ideal spot to lose the blues. The deer provided early morning fun watching the dog watching them eat apples from the trees in the yard. We will return

Wonderful

Fabulous place to stay & just as depicted. Very clean & comfortable to stay in. The house became our home as it contained everything we needed for our creature comforts. The Kitchen was very well stocked with utensils & spices. Our sleeps in the master bedroom were great. The linen closet was fully stocked and the furniture was new & very comfortable. The outdoor fire place was a great feature and a bonus. Plus we really enjoyed the outdoor deck as we relaxed and watched the lake view change. We really enjoyed our stay & Wendy and Doug were very accommodating hosts. Over all a great place to stay which exceeded our expectations.

Perfect home away from home with an amazing view!

The Lake house was a perfect home away from home, containing everything you could need during our stay, even down to the pool noddles for fun at the beach. The property was very clean and spacious, and our teenagers loved the fact they were a short (10min) bike ride to the beach and bakery! When we weren't exploring the Columbia Valley, we were either soaking up the amazing view of the lake or watching the deer from the front deck. Wendy and Douglas were great hosts, from the freshly baked cookies on arrival, the surprise brisket half way through our stay to the fresh rhubarb and banana bread for the journey home, they both made us feel right at home. We will be back!

Beautiful Location

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The property has a great location, and a decent view of the lake and mountains. Plenty of space. Love the sun room for morning coffee. My wife got to sleep in and I got to go hiking. I highly recommend the Hoodoos as they are unique, with panoramic views and only 15 minutes away. Also, easy walking distance from the Pub. Things were clean. There was some animal hair present, but less than expected at a dog friendly house. Overall I would be willing to stay there again and maybe bring my kids and/or friends next time.

Clean, quiet, comfortable

We found the property to be very clean and well maintained. The bed and pillows very comfortable. The kitchen had everything imaginable available. The main feature was the deck out front with the amazing view and the very quiet location - even though it was a very short walk to the beach and town. Slept with the windows open each night to take advantage of the breeze (there is AC) and never heard a peep. Owners right next door so they checked in on us to see how we were doing and offered some great local advice.

Invermere getaway

The Lake House were perfect! Kitchen was fully stocked with more than enough dinnerware, cutlery and appliances. The house is so spacious, we were a family of 4 and had more than enough room. We loved the fenced back-yard for our dog. It is just a short walk away from the Kingsman Beach area. Not to far of a walk to downtown as well. Radium & Fairmont hot springs are a short drive away (about 20 minutes). We wished the weather was warmer, we were looking forward to spend each day at Kingsman Beach. Only swam twice in the lake which was still pretty cold! The hosts were pretty quick to respond to all our questions.

A perfect combination of comfort and class!

We absolutely loved our time at the lake house! The purpose of our stay was to be unscheduled and unplugged and to enjoy some peaceful and fun time with our pup. We achieved this aim in spades. The house is in a very quiet location and is beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed to feel right at home. We had all the privacy we needed to really chill out. Both of us and our pup really enjoyed the backyard and the covered patio. This house ranks right up there with the many rental properties we've enjoyed over the years! We recommend the lake house highly and we'll be telling all our friends about it. We will definitely be renting this house in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Invermere Gem

We recently enjoyed a week long stay at this lovely property. Located at the end of a peaceful cul-de-sac, it provided a good home base for exploring Invermere and the surrounding area. The house was clean, very quiet and well equipped. We made good use of the puzzles and movies provided and enjoyed morning coffees in the sunny front room looking out to the lake. The public beach is a 10 minute walk away where you are able to rent paddle boards and kayaks. The house is also close to the new Westside Legacy Trail bike path running from Invermere towards Fairmont-a beautiful ride! Our dog enjoyed the fenced back yard and the stock of dog treats. The owners were delightful to deal with and responsive to our questions. Thank you again, Wendy and Doug, for your warm hospitality. We would not hesitate to return!

Perfect Family Getaway

Our family had the most wonderful week-long stay at this VRBO property, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything about our stay was fantastic. The property itself was a true gem. Spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities we needed, it felt like a home away from home. The open living area allowed us to spend quality time together, and the well-appointed kitchen made cooking a breeze. The private patio offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, and it quickly became our favorite spot for morning coffees and evening relaxation. Wonderful stay

We had such a fabulous week based from this lovely quiet location. The house is older and well-maintained. We had everything we needed and the kitchen was well-stocked. The weather was hot and the air conditioning was appreciated though the house does stay quite cool. We were surprised the house was so quiet. There are neighbours but we didn’t hear them. Our 6 and 8 year olds didn’t complain about the walk to the beach which took less than 10 minutes. It’s also a close walk to town. Wendy and Doug were great hosts who gave us cookies, jam, fresh mint from the garden and were kind to the kids.

Another Fantastic Week in Invermere

We returned for our second visit to the Lake House and had another wonderful week. Wendy and Doug have added an air conditioner to the main living space, which we enjoyed in the hot weather for the first half of our week, and we were also greeted and sent on our way with Wendy's delicious cookies. Highly recommend this property, we are already looking forward to when we can back for a third visit to Invermere.

The VIEW!

We had such an amazing stay at The Lake House! The front deck is to "die for". We never turned on the tv as we wanted to be outside on the deck as much as possible. Wendy and Doug (host) are very friendly and helpful. So grateful they opened their home to share with anyone needing some time away. BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you again, Laura-Lee, Mike and family

Amazing Stay!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The Lake House was very well stocked and was the perfect setup for our family. The view of the lake is breathtaking and the place is spotless! The house has everything you need and more. Great access to the beach and surrounding activities. The personal touches made us feel right at home and welcome. Would highly recommend the Lake House to anyone and gladly stay there again.

Introduced to Invermere on the Lake and Panorama Ski Resort after being invited by friends for a ski weekend many years ago. The drive to Invermere from Calgary, traversing the Continental Divide is magical!. The winding highway drive through the majestic Mountains is breathe taking, and the wildlife you might come across such as moose, elk, big horn sheep, deer, grizzlies, black bears and at Christmas even a wild turkey, but our favorite siting was this year the Majestic White Mountain Goat, amazing!! Always have the camera ready for that Kodak moment!!
After purchasing the property eight years ago we made a decision to retire here and renovate the Authentic Lake House with complete privacy to share the Invermere Experience with others!!
Come enjoy Invermere on the Lake with us, it's like no other!!
