A small house with a BIG welcome...This little 2 bed/1bath home sits in the charming old trout fishing community of Kittredge, CO (just downstream from the Evergreen, CO dam). The home is just 2 blocks away from beautiful Kittredge Park and Bear Creek, where kids and adults can enjoy the brand new playground, get your feet wet or fish and enjoy the open space with views of the foothills. You're also 2-3 walkable blocks away from Switchback Smokehouse, Country Road Cafe, Black Hat Cattle Co (steakhouse), Colorado High Country Pizza, Blackbird Cafe and Tavern, Kittredge Liquor Store and the Kittredge General Store! Home is also walkable distance to O'Fallon Park (a scenic creek-side open space park). Also a 5-10 minute drive to hike or mountain bike at Corwina, Lair O'the Bear, Mount Falcon, Pence, Alderfer/Three Sisters, Dedisse and Elk Meadow open space parks. Also a 9 minute drive to Evergreen Lake where you can fish (with a license of course), kayak, paddle board and paddle boat or just take an easy walk around. If you're lucky enough to have tickets to a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater, you're only a 15 minute drive away! Loveland is the closest ski resort but most are less than 1 hour and 15 minutes away!

This single level home has enough space to park 2 vehicles. Enjoy cooking meals in the upgraded kitchen. Kitchenmaid Mixer, Fiesta Dishes, Gas Stove/Oven and Dishwasher make it a great place to cook up something good! Sip your coffee on the landscaped back porch area in the mornings, looking for elk and deer. Bring your K-cups! Eat your dinner while watching the many variety of birds that pass by after sundown, then build a fire and enjoy some time reconnecting (please check for any fire ban restrictions through the Jefferson County website).

The home has a small living room with Roku and Netflix access. Eat-in kitchen area inside, and a round patio table and 2 picnic tables out back. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has a full size captain's bed. Cell reception good here for Verizon customers. Wifi available but who needs it when you've got so much beauty to explore outside. Washer and dryer available for use. One dog may be considered depending on breed and manners, but owner must give approval. No A/C but plenty of fans - you don't really need A/C here in the mountains. Just open the windows or step outside in the shade. Most people can actually get a little chilly here at night in the summer.
