We are sorry you had such a terrible time. The large pot we use as a stock pot was up in the pantry closet. We have never used it for lobster. If it wasn't there then someone moved or took it. As for the electricity, we do not list that we have a back up source of power. We suggest if you want a house with that, look for that listed as back up generators are expensive and we typically do not lose power. It was a bad storm. I heard it was the "hurricane on the 4th of July at Lake of the Ozarks". I cannot see how we are at fault for that. Over 88,000 households in the area were without power and when you brought it to our attention we contacted the power company. As far as the dock, we have contacted the dock HOA about the nails as new boards were just put on this past spring. We have also contacted the cleaner about the ceiling fans. I know I cleaned them in June when I was there. We would have liked to been contacted about the hornets ASAP as we were unaware of them and we have a contract with a pest control company. IF you would have contacted us, we would have had them come out to the house to eliminate the ground hornets. NOW that we know, we have contacted them and they are coming MONDAY. Your two star rating was unjust as most of your issues were beyond our control and that you didn't contact us about other issues and we could have remedied most of them with some communication.

Home was left filthy and sent pictures to guest of dried on food on kitchen cabinets on floor. Popsicle sticks stuck to floor with sticky popsicle residue. Guests took full liter bottles of shampoos and conditioners that were in the bathrooms for guests to use not steal. Refrigerator and freezer shelves were missing according to caretaker when they went to clean a 5 bedroom home which usually takes 4 hours and took 11 hours after this guests stay. Guests said they cleaned and vac before they left. There was no attempt to clean up and remove their trash as I have pictures but guests accused me of being a liar. Pictures don't lie. More people stayed at home than the amount we allow. We were generous in our rating of them. I would not rent to them again.
