We had the best, most comfortable stay at The White House.

Wonderful stay. Amenities were clean, welcoming, and fun. The beds were so comfortable and everyone in our group slept very well. The home is gorgeous and is located in a beautiful setting next to the lake. We would totally stay again!

This house was lovely for our family fall break visit. We were fortunate with very warm weather so the pool didn't need to be heated and the kids loved it. We brought our own paddle boards and enjoyed the quieter cove access to be able to paddle board. The beds were comfortable and black out shades or curtains are in every room. We also did rent a boat from the marina one day and highly recommend that as a fun day too. Our one issue, was a handful of palmetto bugs (cockroaches). We didn't see any until our second day there. We immediately reached out to Overnight Digs and they offered to send Orkin out to evaluate the situation and did confirm they have regular pest control treatments. We declined wanting to deal with Orkin on our stay, with the understanding that it can be normal to see them during a drought in mid October on lake hamilton. Over the course of our vacation we did see 7-8. They were typically just one at a time and in the early morning or late evening. Not sure if that amount is normal or not. We would likely just ask for their current Orkin or pest control status and whether any recent fumigation was needed for any future guests. The home is really lovely and we can tell the owners put a lot I thought and care into it, so we would hate for this to be any deterring factor for future guests, but have to mention it.

Being directly on the lake, unseasonably warm weather combined with dry fall conditions can occasionally drive native outdoor water bugs indoors seeking moisture, despite our ongoing quarterly Orkin treatments. We always respect your decision not to disrupt your vacation with an active service visit, but our team immediately followed up post-checkout to re-evaluate, spray, and ensure full protection moving forward. Thank you again for your kind words about the care put into the home. You were wonderful guests, and we would love to welcome your family back to Overnight Digs anytime!

Our family had the most amazing time at The White House. It’s such a stunning property fit for anyone who is looking for the best Lake House experience! We will most definitely be back again and again! Very Nice Dock and overall comfort in the home. We just loved it!

Everything was just as pictured. The location is perfect and the beds were comfortable. There’s an ice machine on both floors and a fridge in the kitchen and one in the garage. We had a large group and laundry was super easy for us because they have a laundry room with 3 washers and 3 dryers! They have a boat docked on their dock and the only suggestion I have is that they include an option to rent it out. But even if they don’t, having a boat delivered is super easy and we were still able to dock our rented boat on one side and our jet skis on the other.It’s a beautiful Lakehouse! 10/10 recommend.

We specifically added the extra fridges, ice machines, and that triple-threat laundry room to make hosting big groups completely effortless, so it's wonderful to know those amenities made your stay so smooth. That is also a fantastic suggestion about offering our docked boat as a rental option—we will definitely take that into consideration for the future! In the meantime, we are so glad you were still able to easily dock your rented boat and jet skis to fully enjoy the lake. Family Vacation

We vacation each year to different locations and rent a home for our extended family. This was one of the best homes and locations we have been to yet! Home was as advertised (which is not always the case as we have experienced). Pictures are accurate and the house had plenty of room to host 18 people! The living spaces, kitchen, dining, pool and lake access were perfect to enjoy our time together for a week! The management was pleasant to work with and quick to respond with any questions we had. Will strongly consider Overnight Digs again in the future. Thanks for being a part of our memories!

Absolutely would not stay there again. Hot tub not working upon arrival,grass in pool, ice maker leaked and didn't work, a rug in front of ice maker was covering where leak was and mold on floor, roaches were visible and gas firepit and grill ( had the gas off) had visible gas order. You dont want to spend this kind of money for this kind of property.Digs did a good job of always answering and trying to get things right. my complaint is all on the owner.
