Beautiful Nature Views from Courtside Villa in Gated Resort Community!

Gorgeous, updated condo in the Courtside Villas complex on the south end of Amelia Island. This villa is on the grounds of the gated Omni Amelia Island Resort community and is convenient to the beach, complex pool, walking trails, and restaurants.

Beautifully updated and decorated, you will truly feel like you're on a wooded island retreat! The living area and both bedrooms have flat screen televisions, and the well-stocked kitchen has beautiful granite countertops. This villa is complete with top-of-the-line linens and plush furnishings. Lots of thought has been put into making this a comfortable and inviting place to vacation!

The unique design of this villa makes it a great option for a family with multiple kids or couples wishing to travel together but still have their privacy. The first bedroom has a king-sized bed and attached bathroom, with the stacked washer and dryer units in the hallway leading to main living space. The second bedroom has two queen-sized beds, an attached bathroom, and its own private balcony offering great views of the natural surroundings on the resort. This villa can comfortably accommodate six people.

With this rental, guests can enjoy both Courtside Villas' complex pools, the resort's private beach access points, walking and biking trails, the spa, shops, and many dining options. Golf is available at many courses on the island, including Oak Marsh on the resort itself. Bike and golf cart rentals are also available nearby - please inquire for additional information.

Please note this property is privately owned and managed, and is not a rental through the Omni Amelia Island Resort, formerly known as the Amelia Island Plantation. It does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities" (Omni hotel pool, fitness center or shuttle service) and Racquet Park is exclusively open to club members and their guests. We will gladly answer any questions about other activities and amenities available on site!

Just as Listed

The unit had everything we needed; including a washer and dryer. The kitchen came fully equipped from dish, glass and flatware to drip coffee maker and more. The furniture was comfortable and clean; the beds were comfy as well and the closets had plenty of hangers and extra blankets. Check in, check out and all additional information was super clear and concise. Over all, a nice place to stay for our visit to Fernandina Beach. Thank you.

Courtside Villas (early to mid Feb 2025)

Exactly as shown in photos. Comfortable, overstuffed furniture, high ceilings, nice views out windows and from the two outdoor decks which are nicely situated on the 2nd floor. Outdoor pool cleaned every day but too cold in mid Feb. Because of condos instead of hotel, lots of steps leading in from parking to navigate with heavy wheeled luggage. Original design, perhaps before short term rentals should have included ramps. Amelia Island Vacations, (either subcontractor or owned by VRBO) was excellent and this is our 2nd very positive experience with them. Easy to reach by phone, accommodated arrival one day earlier due to snow storms combined with Jet Blue waiving change fees could not have gone more smoothly. Villa fully stocked, just missing tea Kettle.

Peaceful

The villa was perfect. The furniture, rugs, and appliances were all new. The pool was right outside the unit. Very quiet area.

Secluded and serene

We truly enjoyed staying at the Omni Villas, the whole property is well taken care of, extremely manicured. pool (big pool) was immaculate. The villa itself came with anything and everything anyone could need for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back. Wish we could give 10 stars

Great location and space

Excellent accomodation with lots of perks. The location is spectacular to tennis, pickleball, nature walks, the beach and bike paths. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen has everything we needed. I highly recommend.

Perfect getaway

First, the communication from the property manager made for a carefree stay. Start to finish they missed nothing. Second, the property and location was fantastic. The home has every convenience to make your stay comfortable and the location to entertainment is perfect. When visiting Amelia Island, this will be our spot.

Great location

The condo was close to walking trails and a short walk to the beach. The area is clean and quiet (minus the pickle ball courts). The condo is nice and spacious. The inside of the condo is dated and could use some up to date decor. The bathrooms need a little help as there was mold in the showers. There was also mold in the washing machine. The beds were comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the condo.

loved it!

Though there are many properties on the Plantation, it is designed in such a way that there is a great deal of privacy. The condo is in a beautiful green, quiet area convenient to everything we wanted. Lots of history and great food to be had in the area. The condo is comfortable and well furnished; well-depicted on the website.

Cute Condo Close to the Beach.

The complex was right across from the beach, and this was a huge plus, as we could walk to the beach in about 6-7 minutes. The beach was huge and expansive with small shells here & there. There were many shells that had holes in them, which sparked our curiosity, but after realizing there was an undertow when we walked in the water, the likely the reason for the shell damage was the strong undertow. They were rebuilding the beach in one area. I am unsure if it was safe to swim there. No one was in the water. There were signs at the beach entry as what to do if caught in a rip tide, but these signs could be standard all over Florida, so I am unsure. On the very last day, a paddle boarder did cross the break, so it is possible to experience water activity further out. No of this took away from the beauty of the beach, island, and vast expanse of the ocean. The property was clean, decorated nicely, and had recently had the flooring replaced. Beds and pillows in the second bedroom were more comfortable. Master bedroom had a king bed, but the bed had a dip in the center of the mattress. My husband and I slept apart in the room with the double beds since we were use to sleeping in a king bed at home. This second bedroom was more spacious compared to the master bedroom filled completely with only a king bed and two night stands. We arrived at a time when leaves were falling. The property grounds and walkways were exceptionally clean, and the balcony of our unit was also free of leaves. .Due to the cleanliness of the grounds and the unit being near a main through road in the resort, the constant cleaning and contractor projects in the private homes across the street left the area was noisy during the day. The view of the unit was nice, but the windows were unfortunately unclean maybe due to the property being was full of trees. The property was equipped with a nice size pool and tennis courts. The layout of the grounds and the botanicals were lovely and inviting. The Kitchen was super small but equipped with everything we needed or required. The management team was easy to work with and all the communication occurred promptly. The property was easy to access, felt secure behind the gated community of the Omni Resort, and was a hop and a skip away from Fernandina Beach and additional shops & restaurants.. Amelia Island was quaint with the restaurants of great quality. We would definitely visit again.

Another enjoyable stay

This was our second time staying at this Courtside Villa. We find it to be well located and equipped with everything we need. Since we had no issues and we had a key pad entry we really didn't communicate with the property manager. Great spot and we hope to return.

Wonderful Condo in Wonderful Location

This condo is beautiful and just a 6 minute walk to beach access! The surrounding neighborhood within a gated community is quiet, clean, friendly, and feels like a fabulous resort. There is a tennis court right next to the condo and a private pool shared by the surrounding attached condos (during our stay we saw maybe 1 other family use the pool, mostly it was just us in there!). The rental property was extremely well stocked with kitchen utensils, cookware, and cleaning supplies. Everything was extremely clean and very nicely updated. It felt so homey like we were staying at our family's property and not a stranger's rental place! 😊 The only comment I have is that the parking lot is a slight walk to the condo, and you will have to climb one flight of stairs to get to the rental. This wasn't an issue for my family, but something to consider if you have a less-mobile family member or friend staying here. 10/10 would love to come back!

Birthday under the Sea Oaks

This is a comfortable well furnished unit. It is under massive oaks with spanish moss. The pool is right outside the door. Mostly shaded. Had plenty of privacy. The beach was a rather long walk away for me. It was also a bit difficult for me to bring groceries from parking lot to the condo. Probably only an issue for older adults. We had a light out on our porch that was fixed quickly. We enjoyed our stay.
