We have to stayed there several times since 1983 and have always had a great time. Great location right on the ocean and quiet.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything at this property was as listed. Easy parking, beautiful location that is close to town and other activities. Watched the surfers every day, enjoyed a private sandy area, BBQ'd steaks oceanside. All appliances worked well and you cannot get a better view in Kona!

The condo was stocked with lots of things we needed, even water diapers and extra diapers for the baby, which we didn't need but it was so nice! There was sunscreen, laundry accouterments, lotions, shampoo, body wash, there was body boards, games, towels, snorkels, so much! Lots of kitchen equipment as well. The best part is definitely the view, and the location! The pool and hottub were fantastic. Parking was easy and everyone we met was super nice! There is a small restaurant on grounds, and 2 bbq pits. All in all, for 5 people with a baby, we had absolutely everything we needed! We will come back, and we will stay with Knutson and associates again. So much better than a hotel. The ac was also wonderful in our condo, and kept the whole apartment very cold.

This place had an absolutely perfect view of the ocean — waking up AND falling asleep to the sound of the waves was definitely the highlight of the stay. The unit was spotless, very clean, well cared for, and nicely furnished. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy, which made everything even better.We appreciated the extra beach towels and the cooler for outings. The outdoor BBQ area was lovely, and the pool was clean and well maintained. The location was decent, with easy access to nearby spots.Overall, the view and the sound of the ocean made this stay truly special. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was lovely and clean. There were some boogie boards and snorkelling equipment, which we were able to use.We had to buy a can opener which we left in the room. Because of the storm, the pool was closed for a few days. It was frustrating when the power was out. The propane had been removed from the barbeque so we couldn’t boil water or cook on it. And the office staff who generally are there did not show up for work. The office staff also weren’t there during the hours that were posted which was frustrating at times.

We also appreciate you leaving the can opener behind for future guests. We’re sorry some aspects of your stay were impacted by the recent storm. Temporary power outages, pool closures, and adjustments to shared BBQ propane service can occur during severe weather events as safety precautions or due to conditions beyond anyone’s control. We understand how frustrating that can be while on vacation. Regarding the on-site office staff, they are separate from our vacation rental management company, but we understand the inconvenience when posted hours are not met. We appreciate you sharing that feedback. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back for a smoother and sunnier Kona visit in the future.

The location itself is amazing! RIGHT on the water, beautiful sunsets, waves to lull you to sleep, dolphins doing flips in the distance (around 9:00 a.m.), sea turtles to welcome you, tide pools to see all kinds of sea life. That's just the start! The place itself is modest, but very functional. We were initially concerned about there being no AC, but you don't need it! The ocean breeze, multiple fans and cross breeze give you more than you need! They have also thought of EVERYTHING! GOOD cooking gear, pots, pans, etc... Snorkeling gear, boogie boards, plenty of towels and instructions were CRYSTAL CLEAR for every question you might need, but they also reach out to make sure you are all set up to enjoy a worry free stay! I will DEFINITELY return here! Location is perfect for access to restaurants, markets, and anything you'd want or need to do. Overall, I and my family were VERY pleased with this trip! Thanks so much for making it EASY to focus on enjoying all the island has to offer!
