Incredible

Older building but kept clean and incredible views and sunsets, beds were super comfortable, had snorkel gear, body boards and beach chairs. Hard to beat

Perfect for our family

I’m a single mom with three teen girls. Being able to go on a vacation was a big deal for us! The price was fair and the condo was clean. I loved being able to cook and have somewhere that felt like “home” when we needed to decompress. I hope to come back someday and would definitely want this condo again! Thank you for helping make my family vacation dream a reality!

Loved it!

Newly refurbished with great views. Any little maintenance issues, like sticky screen doors were fixed promply. Booked for next year!

Reviewer Comments: When we initially got there from traveling From a very long distance, we were locked out of the condo I called Wade to get a key and his reply was it's pretty Late to which I replied. I have no control over how long the flights are. So he showed up in about half an hour. And let us in other than that, everything was fantastic. The place was clean, everything worked.I would say if I was to give anything negative it would be. They could probably use some new furniture. The couch is ripped up cushions. But we had a great time, and it was a beautiful location.

The unit itself needs to replace furniture, faded,rips in upholstery, needs full silverware and dishes sets.Kitchen awkward, refrigerator opens wrong way(an easy fix).Master bed quite soft. All was adequate but needs upgrade. Bathrooms had new fixtures, nicely done. Liked the complex, would hesitate to recommend this unit.Master bed very soft.

Amazing view!

#223 has an amazing view of the ocean! Leave the sliding doors open to hear the waves crashing all night long with a cool breeze blowing in off the shore. A great experience.

Great location - poor condition

You can't get a better location, that's the up side. We saw sea turtles in tide pools right outside our window every single day, sometimes twice a day! Unfortunately the property isn't maintained well at all. There is black mold in the grout around the bathtub, the couch and sheets were torn and had stains on them, the screen doors didn't open, hot water heater didn't heat enough water for showers, etc. The property manager didn't respond to us when we reached out for help so we were on our own until we tracked down someone else at the management company. It's a pity because this location has so much potential.

Nice location and view!

Stayed with my boyfriend and teenage children. Great spot close to all the shopping areas! They have chairs and boogie boards and stuff for the beach in the patio storage, plus 4 beach towels . Great to have 2 bathrooms with teenage girls with us! Washer and dryer worked great! Easy parking underneath the condo.

The condo was clean, comfortable, and located in a beautiful setting on the Kailua-Kona coastline, looking over tidepools and sunning sea turtles. Wayne was a very responsive host: the washing machine door was broken when we arrived, and he arranged to have it fixed the same day. We can't recommend this property enough! You will have a wonderful stay.

Amazing!

This was our second time to the big island. We had an amazing time at Bali Kai!! The view was absolutely breath taking and the crashing of the ocean waves all day/night never got old 🌊 We had a perfect seat to watch the sunset and turtles feed each evening! The condo is older but was very clean. Towels, handsoap, dishwasher and laundry tabs, paper towels, Kleenex and TP were provided. We found the master bed to be very soft and saggy. Their was an issue with the washer on our 2nd last day and Wayne was very responsive and sent someone over right away! The location is fantastic…it made it easy to commute to our favourite beaches. The condo came equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, boogies boards and snorkel gear. We would definitely stay here again 🌺

A week stay.

It was good however was very hot and humid and no central air or air conditioning at least in our room. Had fans going non stop when in room, nights were miserable.

Great location

Our condo was on the second floor right above the gently breaking waves. Every morning we watched the surfers at Banyan Beach and the outriggers paddling by. The place is a bit dated but clean, so we were quite happy. The managers were very responsive. I recommend it.

A Wonderful Family Vacation Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the best place for our entire family! I can’t say enough about this condo and give it a high mark. This condo has everything you could possibly need. Washer and dryer, snorkel and boogie board equipment, full kitchen....the list goes on. Wayne is wonderful to deal with and is so accommodating as we were a late check in and gave us all the info we needed- thank you Wayne! Sea turtles were a constant sight adjacent to this suite. The location was really easy to get around by trolley when it was on time, markets nearby as well as some beaches. (Beware of Magic Sands- some websites say kid friendly but we found out the hard way that the surf can be quite dangerous). Great lifeguards! Manta Ray Night Snorkeling was a chance of a lifetime and would recommend this activity to anyone wanting a little adventure. We were privileged to be here for the Mauna Loa eruption.All in all this condo has every amenity imaginable down to the small appliances. Swimming pool is a perfect place to wind down the day. I will definitely come back in the future. A very clean, well maintained condo

Great location

Oceanfront is hard to beat. Condo is dated and should be remodeled sooner than later. A lot of things are soon going to be in the non-functional category. (Refrigerator, light switch, toilet handle, bathtub needs a new plug). The garbage disposal was not working when we arrived but the property manager was able to send someone to fix it on day 2. If you are a person that likes AC and expects remodeled places this might not be your place. Overall, We love the location and accessibility. We enjoyed Breakfast and happy hours looking at the ocean. We spotted some turtles and had a good time.
