Property itself was just fine.Twice I requested a 3 o’clock check in after I drove five hours to get there, once a month ago once the day before and I was told I’d get an email if it was available. Check in time was 5 o’clock, I was there at three the house was empty and ready to be occupied, so I left and came back at 4 o’clock, It was still empty and ready to be occupied, so wasted my time driving around for two hours more before I finally got in… I was not happy.

The views from this property are amazing! House was clean and towels were large and plentiful. The beds were also very comfortable. Hot tub was clean and the views again cannot be beat! The neighborhood was quiet and perfect for walking our little dog. Close to everything and numerous beach accesses within just a few short minutes.

Sail Inn Time

The house was very comfortable especially the beds. Being on the Soundfront made for fun times in the water and out! Great spot to watch the sunset!! The family all enjoyed their time!!!

Great spot off the beach

We liked this spot on the sound. Very comfortable and good sunsets from the deck, not to mention kite boarders to watch on most days.

Sail In.

It was a beautiful home right on the sound. The location was excellent for water access and amazing sunsets. The home needs a few fixes but overall it was very comfortable and would rent it again.

Lovely house!

We arrived to a clean house! Plenty of room for everyone, no one had to fight over a TV. Dock was awesome- hubby did lots of fishing! Great house!

Great Avon location

This is a nice property located in Avon on the sound. The house met all of our needs, including a surprise of two kayaks we could use on the sound. The hot tub was awesome and the views were gorgeous. The kitchen is well-stocked with tools. It is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, so it's quiet.

First class house

House was clean, well stocked, and well maintained. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Location is great on the sound. This was our fourth stay at this house and we will be back. Need I say more.

Great for a group

Our group of 8 adults (and 1 dog) enjoyed our stay here very much. We were in Avon for a week of windsurfing events, and the house suited us very well. The waterfront view from the balconies is gorgeous, and the location is close to restaurants, coffee shops, Sunrise seafood market and groceries. The dining table seated all of us comfortably. I think we would stay here again. Vacasa was very responsive in dealing with minor issues (fridge needed maintenance, for example).

Exactly what a beach house is supposed to be! It was perfect! To be able to put kayaks in right there, ride bikes, enjoy the beach, and visit local restaurants, this place was perfect. Despite reviews from before, it wasn't bad at all. The only thing we would suggest changing is the TVs and viewing options. We had a rainy day and just couldn't figure out the televisions. However, we brought a bunch of games and spent our time enjoying the large livong and dining area and scenery from the top deck. Thank you! We would definitely stay again!

Decent property

The furniture and everything is pretty dated in this house. Overall cleanliness was fine and the dock on the water was a bonus. It was fine for our fishing trip but I know if the girls would have came with us they probably would have been unhappy with how “antique” everything seemed.

could use a good cleaning

Location is nice. The house needs some work. the carpet needs shampooed, It could use a paint job, some light bulbs, there are water stains on the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. We still had a good time, location is good, the hot tub works.

Great views

The house was in a great location with beautiful views. Some of the furniture could be updated. It would be nice if the kitchen had a few items to help with cooking, salt and pepper, coffee filters, etc. Not sure what the black and yellow box full of towels was for, but it was in the way the entire time and very heavy to move. Overall, nice place to stay.

Sail Inn

I was worried about the place after reviews I read. However, if you are looking for a place that is close to both the sound side and beach, this is it! We rented kayaks, bikes, chairs, and corn hole. The place was more than what we expected. The living area is large with vaulted ceilings. Yes, it could use updates, but it's a beach house! It's honestly what we expected. We spent so much more time exploring the place that sitting around the house. It was a perfect place to sleep, bathe, cook meals, and relax in the hot tub. The sunsets were amazing from the home. The sound view was breathtaking! We were impressed and would stay there all over again!

Sail Inn needs upgrade

We enjoyed this area on soundside, but the home itself needs homeowner to upgrade several things, shower curtain on bdrm floor mildewed terrible. Lots of tiny ants and maintenance came quickly to take care of them in kitchen area. Had only a few later. Kitchen cabinets need handles on doors . You have to use both hands to pl the doors open and drawers out. All rooms have holes in wall from door knobs Bed skirting in twin bed rm ..skirting was torn right much and hole in ceiling with water ring. Overhead vents and wall vents immediately need filters changed. Lighting in fridge barely comes on. Sorry, this home needs upgrading.
