Enjoy the privacy of this award-winning cottage directly on the white sands of Indian Rocks Beach. Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, Chic a si Cottage is built of cypress with a tin roof, Bermuda shutters, and original gingerbread trim. An expansive deck and lawn between the cottage and the beach invites outdoor living with Adirondack chairs, hammock, porch swing, and a dining gazebo with overhead fan and large gas grill. The private outdoor shower allows bathing under the sun or moon. Generous private parking. Newly designed kitchen with all new appliances in 2025. Fireplace, central heating and air-conditioning, washer/dryer.

My family and I had the best time. The beach was amazing with beautiful sunsets.Harry is the best host and so helpful. The cabin came fully accommodated with the necessities and the outside shower is epic! It was an amazing vacation. Can’t wait to come back. Location is close to everything.

This was our sixth year at Chicasi. It is always very well maintained and looks amazing despite the hurricane last year. Great location, perfect beach access and gorgeous yard with gazebo. Will be back again next year!

Best spot in Indian Rocks

My family has stayed at Chicasi 5 years in a row. Location is perfect. We can walk to a different restaurant or ice cream shop every day. The cottage and yard are beautiful and well-maintained. We love Chicasi!

Perfect cottage!

We have been to Florida multiple times and have stayed in many VRBOs. This is our favorite one! The layout, the beautiful backyard, the warm decor and the well stocked kitchen were all perfect. But, what definitely hooked us was the unique outdoor shower! The location of this cottage couldn’t have been any better. It’s convenient to everything. Our family of 5 absolutely enjoyed a relaxing vacation at Chic a si cottage. We plan to be back:)

Cottage by the Sea

Beautiful family-style cottage close to a myriad of activities with the beach as your playground. We were so lucky to have this as the perfect setting for our birthday celebration. The gazebo served as a gathering place for our oldest and dearest friends and our family joined us there to complete our special day in the sun.

Perfect Beach Cottage

This was our third time renting this adorable cottage. We love being right on the beach and short walking distance to so many of the best restaurants. The landscaping and outdoor areas are beautiful and so well taken care of. The inside is charming and clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing week at the beach. We can’t wait to go back!

Fourth trip to Chicasi

We've stayed at Chicasi four summers in a row. We love it. Location is perfect. The cottage is cute and well maintained. We especially enjoy the gazebo and outdoor spaces. Communication with Hal is quick and easy.

Beloved Florida Tradition

Chic a si cottage has become our favorite summer vacation tradition. A charming beach house with tons of character where every little detail has been carefully considered. The hosts are exceptionally accommodating and friendy. We will continue to return as long as they'll have us! This is not just another beach rental, but an cherished family home.

Wonderful

Just as described, this was a great house for 3 of us who stayed for a week. Beachfront location is spectacular with lots of outdoor seating. House is well equipped. Bedrooms are small but comfy. Across the street is cvs and restaurants. Host is welcoming and available.

This was my family's second time staying at Chicasi and it was everything we expected and more. Cannot say enough good things about the charming cottage, the amazing location, and the awesome host of the property. The place was clean, had all the cookware, linens and towels you need. EXQUISITE cottage right on the beach!

This charming cottage just steps to the beach is a gulf shore vacation spot perfected! Enter the lovely white cottage gate to an inviting entrance lined with palms and potted orchids hanging from the trees. My breath was just taken away stepping through the bright teal front door and taking in the old Florida vibe of this beautifully restored and appointed cottage, tastefully decorated with nautical decor and family treasures. The owner’s attention to detail truly make this coastal cottage a “home away from home” with cozy bedding, top quality (and plentiful) linens and towels, and a fully stocked, beautiful kitchen. Take the red solo cups off your shopping list — you won’t need them! Step out back to another whole level of FABULOUS onto a sitting deck with rocking chairs and comfy cushions for morning coffee, a view of the gulf and the owner’s custom yardarm flying Old Glory on top, along with a personal welcome of our state and military flags below. Wow! But that’s not all! Just steps out to the expansive sun deck, we loved relaxing and enjoying meals under a gorgeous fanned gazebo with seating for 8 and a spotless Weber propane gas grill (with spare tank) — the perfect setup for cooking and gathering with family. Pick your favorite color from a bright row of Adirondack chairs at the edge of the deck and catch the sunset with cocktails to end each perfect day. Chicasi cottage has everything, and I mean EVERYTHING you’ll need for an amazing stay. Hal was an absolute pleasure to meet and work with, and his responsiveness is top-notch! If you are hesitating at all about reserving this property — don’t! Book it now!!

Hal and Marian Flowers live in Tampa, and enjoy Chic a si Cottage as their beach house during non-rental periods. Hal is a real estate executive and Marian practices family law in Tampa. Since they purchased it in 1998, they have made extensive improvements including new decks, gazebo, kitchen and appliances, linens & bedding, furniture, HVAC and landscaping, but have preserved the original charm of the vintage cottage. They want you to feel like you have stepped back in time to enjoy the magic of being on the Gulf of Mexico with your family.

Three bedrooms, two baths, two queen beds and a bunk room allow comfort for 6 with ease. Includes all linens & towels. 3 TVs. Telephones. Kitchen has all imaginable amenities, full size appliances, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, hand mixer, toaster, blender, waffle maker, garbage disposal, refrig with ice-maker & filtered water, and full service for 8. Full sized washer & dryer in private laundry. Cozy living room made of cypress has vaulted ceiling with fireplace, color TV w/digital cable & Bose speakers, Blue-ray VCR & videos, CD player & tuner. High speed wireless internet. Master bedroom has a color TV, and French doors leading out to private outdoor shower. Lounge chairs, beach towels, and many creature comforts including outdoor gas grill. Outdoor rocking chair, and over sized seating make the large deck the place to be at our colorful sunsets. Boat box full of children's toys for sandcastle building and digging. Well appointed, with an eye toward comfort and enjoyment.
