Destin vacay

The property was the perfect location from the beach. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the waves crash in and seeing what else was going on around the property. The condo was exactly as listed, clean, and well stocked for guests. We definitely will be back again!

Check in and out was a complete breeze. The stay was amazing. So relaxing. Room was spotless and clean top to bottom! Will be staying there again.

Great spring break

Awesome condo for me, my husband, son and mother. The condo was very clean and spacious. The view was beautiful. Great location to stores and restaurants. Easy walk across the street to the beach. Will definitely book again.

Beautiful Condo

This condo was gorgeous, and had a fantastic view. Pictures are exactly as it is. Great location, close to downtown but quiet enough. Also the private beach area is gorgeous. It is completely gated, all around the pools and building. Very secure. Definitely would go back to the same location!

Nice place nice pool very quite.

Condo was ok. Bedrooms where very small and vanity in master bedroom was to small but it was nice to have 2 bathrooms. King bed was very comfortable but the pullout sofa was not. Needs a new mattress. Nice pool but would have liked some music and a hot tub.

Dear Marsha, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We will certainly advise the owner of the condo of the sofa sleeper mattress. You mentioned that the bedrooms were small. Perhaps next time reserving a 2 bedroom deluxe instead of a 2 bedroom standard as they are larger. Unfortunately Sterling Shores does not have a hot tub or outdoor music. That is something that Sterling Resorts really has no control over as that is maintained and controlled by the Homeowner's Association. Perhaps next time you might even want to try Sterling Sands as they have a hot tub there. We do look forward to hosting your future vacation needs along Florida's Emerald Coast. All the best!!! VRBO charged for 3 towels they said we damaged and we did not!!! I will NEVER go with them again!!!

I am so sorry that you will not return - unfortunately we do need to charge for any unreported damages in the unit including towels. We would be happy to help make up for any issues on your next stay.

Miss represented room

Unit was advertised as a 2 bedroom. Not True. The second so called bedroom is nothing but a den. NO closet, NO dresser We - 2 adults- had to leave our clothing in our suit case or on the floor Double size bed, hardly enough room to get in and out of the bed. TERRIBLE.

Thank you so much for your review. This is the small 2 bedroom unit - yes the second bedroom is small without a closet and as advertised the bedding in the second bedroom is a full/double bed. I apologize that you expected more room in the second bedroom and I will update the description so this will not be an issue for any future guest. I do hope that you enjoyed your stay other than the size of the bedroom.

Great Location but...

Everything great as in pictures. Easy access to pool, beach and the popular "Back Porch" restaurant. Only negatives-1) rent umbrella and chairs from 3rd party vendor for $50 for half day at the beach, 2) a really big negative is not enough shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion. 3) only provide enough for one load of washing and no dryer sheet 4) only one trash can bag. We called management service for more but they said "no". We had to go to the groceries store to buy more of these products. Bath towels were thin and not comfortable. This is a 2br/2ba and for the price we paid I expected a little better amenities. These products would not cost much and could boost their reviews to a 5 star. We spoke to other people staying at this facility and they said the same about lack of products. But overall, great stay and love the decor of the beachfront condo.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, Nina. To clarify, we provide our guests with a starter kit of supplies. This includes cleaning supplies, toiletries, and paper products. Once these supplies run out it is the responsibility of our guests to provide any additional supplies throughout the remainder of their stay. Supplies are restocked before each guest. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your time with us.

The property is nice for the money might need some upgrades but it has everything one needs

What really threw me off with my stay at Sterling Shores is that the listing said that the hair blower was included when in fact it was not. I was travelling with my mother so we did not take the hair blower knowing it was supposed to be included. After we checked in we realized that it is missing, so i called the reception and they told me they do not provide the hair blowers any more (there was no reason explained and no solution suggested) Instead of going to the beach and enjoy the ocean we had to rush to the store to urgently buy the hair blower to get ready for the dinner cruize later during the day. The message i sent to the manager about the hair blower remained not answered. I work in customer service myself and if we took such a “great care” of our customers at my job, there wont be many left. I got the impression that the managing company just does not care.

My sincere apologies for the blow dryer issue that you experienced. Sterling Resorts does care and we will use this review to make sure that this does not happen to any other guests. We will update our website stating that blow dryers are not in the units and the reason is because they were frequently being removed from the units. I do hope that you enjoyed your stay and again we appreciate your feedback so we can improve our customer service.
