The Space:

This large sixth floor condo is comfortably decorated and located directly on the Gulf of Mexico with amazing views of the emerald waters. The sizable balcony offers plenty of room with brand new furniture and a beautiful ocean view. The condominium is fully furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen, including a microwave and a dishwasher. The main bedroom features a private en suite bathroom. A trundle bed is available for extra room. This condominium is equipped with a washer and dryer, and all linens and towels are provided for your convenience. Please bring your own beach/pool towels.

Exactly what was advertised

When arriving we were shocked to see that we were able to get into the condo earlier than expected which was fantastic because we were exhausted. Place was clean and decent location.

Loved it!! Would Stay Again!!

This place was all around amazing. Great location. Nice rooms. Easy Check in/ Check out process. Easy beach access & comes with a Beach Setup including Chairs and umbrella. Would recommend this place to everyone! We will be back for sure!

Amazing!

My family and I loved staying in this condo! The islander is small and quiet, which is perfect if you don’t like busy resorts. Not far from restaurants or even Destin, FL. We are already planning our trip to return next year!

First time VRBO rental and loved it!

We absolutely loved the rental. This was my first time renting and I don’t think we will ever go back to hotel stays. The condo was true to photos and check in was easy. The Property Manager , Monica, was friendly and very helpful!

The Islander E6005

This was a beautiful unit. We were supposed to be in E6002, but apparently there was a problem with the unit and they switched us to the other unit. The only things I would recommend is fixing the ice maker in the fridge and better bed linens. I couldn’t tell you how many times I had to put the sheets back on. Thank you for opening your home to us.

Great condo in a nice location!

We had a family of 5 staying here and was a perfect size with plenty of sleeping space. We loved the location as it’s a little further down on the strip so it’s not as crowded on the beach. The condo was nicely accommodating with everything we needed. I would just suggest adding a better broom and a dust pan- we were missing that. Sand is hard to fight without those! Overall, we loved it and would go back.

Perfect Location!

We wanted a place on the beach with a pool off the beaten path a bit. This location did not disappoint and the view was spectacular. There are some nice updates in the unit but I suspect more could be done. We appreciated the efforts to swap towels and linens for more COVID-19 safe alternatives but they did feel more like what you would find at a hotel or hospital and took away from some of the homey-ness we enjoyed during other VRBO stays. It was nice to have staff on location to attend to any issues we had. Overall, a great location to just chill out for several days.

Great place to stay!!

We really loved the condo & the Islander! No problems getting checked in a little earlier than expected & really loved the ease of checking out. We didn't use the 2 free movies a night that they offered us, but for someone with younger children or just grownups - that is a great idea!! We loved the view from our condo & the extra chairs out on the balcony were a real blessing since we had 6 staying in this condo. The parking at the Islander was never a problem & the trash chute was a really nice thing to have available (so we didn't have to lug the trash all the way down to the 1st floor). I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone wanting to go to Ft. Walton!!

Great location and views. Conveniently located to many excellent restaurants. We could see dolphins swimming from the balcony. The beach service was awesome. It was a good value for the price. The kitchen was very well-stocked along with ample supply of towels. However, the unit could use some cosmetic attention such as peeling paint and cabinets in the bathrooms. The furniture on the balcony needs to be replaced due to rust and mildew. Several of the bar stools were missing cross bars and were unstable. We were told that laundry detergent and toiletries would be available, but these items were not in the unit. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would return.

I Love Okaloosa!

One week before our stay, Hurricane Sally went through. So it did effect the area and this condo. I asked if I needed to be aware of anything including roads getting to the condo and I didn't receive any response. I did purchase travelers insurance so if informed, I could have adjusted my plans. When we arrived we were told the elevators were not working. Now we aren't super old or handicapped but carrying luggage up to the 6th floor was not fun. Then we saw the very outdated bathroom cabinets and thought oh well we are here for the beautiful beaches and view. It smelled like the place was clean but don't walk around barefoot your feet turn black from the floors not being cleaned. To top it all off they were doing very loud construction, grinding the floors on the concrete right outside our door. You have no idea how loud this was, my husband did a decibel check and it was a constant 80-85 decibels - which 90 is damaging to your hearing. Oh also the internet wasn't working the entire week. Luckily we have unlimited data. Since we had a new grandbaby coming we tried to social distance so we did spend a lot of time in the condo. I mostly sat on the balcony (Please replace the furniture-the rusted arms of the chairs and stained cushions are not worthy of the price you charge.) We stay in Okaloosa usually 1x a year and the other condos we've stayed at for about the same price or less were WAY better. The only reason we didn't stay there was because we booked this trip later in the year. Sorry for saying all the negative stuff but these things should be addressed. One more thing the King size mattress was horrible. You feel every spring. My back is finally recovering.
