The Space:

There's no better place to experience the beauty of Gulf Shores than this gorgeously situated penthouse in The Lighthouse Resort! This bright, open space provides a taste of luxury beachfront living at its finest, offering bird's-eye views of the white sand and the Gulf of Mexico, a private wrap-around balcony where you can spend golden hour each evening, and direct access to 635 feet of private beach below. Within the resort, you'll have use of two zero-entry outdoor pools, a heated indoor pool, a pair of hot tubs, and a gym with a sauna.



What's nearby:

This penthouse sits atop the Gulf-front Lighthouse Resort, which is located just over half a mile east of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Within walking distance are several great shops and restaurants, including Sea-N-Suds, The Hangout Gulf Shores, and The Steamer Baked Oyster Bar. Gulf State Park is half a mile east, and an assortment of family-friendly attractions - including Waterville USA, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, and Pirate's Island Adventure Golf - are just up Highway 59. You'll also be five miles south of the Craft Farms Golf Club and an easy drive from Big Wave Dave's, The Flying Harpoon 2, and The Flora-Bama.

Gulf Shores 2019

This was our fourth year to go to Gulf Shores for our family vacation! This place was the best!!! Clean, perfect beach access, family friendly, close to great restaurants, etc!!! Will definitely stay at the Lighthouse again!!

Great Condo

We rented this condo for our annual family Christmas at the beach! It had everything we needed and the extra bunk room was fantastic for our 4 grandsons! We reserved it again for next Christmas!

SUPER NICE:!!!

Penthouse # 1 at Lighthouse Condo’s was amazing ! It had EVERYTHING needed to make our stay top notch ! It was clean, spacious, and well decorated. Our group of 7 will definitely remember our time there and plan to return next year.

Great time in Lighthouse PH1!

Condo was beautiful- Spacious, and the view and deck were beautiful! Conveniently and centrally located, and COVID/ mask conscious. Wonderful week with my adult children and spouses!

Quick Getaway

We had a great time. The condo is very nice. Only negative is the rug is rolling up on the edges and creates a trip hazard in the living room area.

Nearly perfect

The unit was absolutely beautiful with the perfect layout to give everyone privacy when wanted. The kitchen was one of the best stocked ive ever seen. Views were amazing. My only complaint is the matresses were terrible. Noone in our party slept well our entire stay.

Peaceful, Calm Retreat

Clean, spacious, well designed condo with beautiful beach decor and a perfect floor plan. Plenty of towels, dishes, kitchen equipment and dining chairs. Great views from both front and Gulf balconies. Excellent restaurants nearby. Building management was available and helpful, and Vacasa was very professional and reliable. A positive experience all around. Suggestion: Store a card table in the big closet to use in the Foyer for computers, games, puzzles, etc.

Great time at Lighthouse Penthouse 1

The property was wonderful. There was just enough room, 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, for our family of six adults and three children. The view was spectacular as we watched dolphins play every morning. It was nice having a parking deck and fast elevators! Our only complaint is the lack of umbrellas at the two outdoor pools. The sun is much too intense to sit out without umbrellas.

Not what we expected!

Old stain discolored sheets on all beds. Out of our 7 day stay we had no water for a full day. We were not warned in advance and no compensation for the inconvenience of no water and brown water. So last the roaches in the kitchen is too much to ask the quest to endure. Yes, I took pictures of everything including the bugs. I texted management sent pictures and the only response was who killed the roach.

The entire area was without water for three houses and unfortunately, the city did not give us any advanced notice of this. We truly apologize for the inconvenience this caused your party. Wonderful!

This is a beautiful condo. It is nice and spacious and the beds are comfy. The view is priceless. Check-in could be better. You can’t check in until 4pm, so everyone is checking in at the same time, with one person manning the process. Might have been due to not wanting to overcrowd because of COVID, but an additional place for check-in during that busy time could surely be considered. Was aware of the $30 per vehicle parking pass, but didn’t like it. Have never had additional cost to park. Is that what condos are going to now? This is a premium rental at premium price, so the price for parking should have been included.

Excellent layout and location

The property was great and I only have a few suggestions. All of the furniture on the balcony is bar height and nothing for shorter folks who don’t want to climb. The bed in the second master is waaaay too high. I’m 5’2” and the mattress got just under my armpit. I had to climb up with a chair. Other than that, it’s just a little dated in the bathrooms and kitchen. Pretty normal wear and tear. I was required to read the property manager, however I did not speak with the property manager or need to call them for anything.

Beautiful! Will be back!

This place was beautiful! The view of the beach with the big balcony made it all worth it. I had probably 100 pics of the sunrise and sunsets. The pools and hot tubs were great. It actually had more bedrooms than I thought. I guess they can’t say 5 because the bunk room doesn’t have a closet. We rarely left the property. We did call the property management agency upon arrival to report an issue with our towels and asked for replacements. That never happened. We made it work but I was surprised at lack of follow up. We also went out and bought pillows because the ones in the master bedroom were very firm - just a preference of ours. Again overall we had an amazing visit. Can’t wait to go back!

Lighthouse Penthouse 1

Overall the property was as listed. Lots of space inside and fast elevators to the top floor. Ice maker had to be adjusted. Microwave was missing a top fan and the light went out. Flat bedsheet in master bedroom was too short. We had a couple of rain storms while there and each time water washed into the foyer under the door. There was lots of construction I assume due to Hurricane Sally but the Eastward view on the side balcony was not good. Broken deck chair was laid out there. We enjoyed our stay and would rent this condo again, hopefully after storm damage is finished.

Penthouse 1

Pros- plenty of space. There were 11 of us and more than enough space for everyone. View- view is AMAZING. Can’t get any better. Condo has floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the view. Kitchen- kitchen is stocked adequately for the number of people, although we did bring some paper plates. Beds- beds and furniture are pretty comfortable. Cons- AIR CONDITIONING IN KING BEDROOM DOES NOT WORK ADEQUATELY. My husband and I specifically chose to stay in the king bedroom with the large walk in closet. We have a 1 year old and we’re planning to make the closet “his room” so he would be away from the noise of the condo and have his own space. The rest of the condo was at 69 degrees and our room was at 84. We kept the curtain closed (couldn’t see the nice view) and kept a fan in the doorway. He ended up having to sleep in our room and did not sleep well at all bc of the warm room. We had an air conditioning tech come out and he said there’s nothing he could do and that room is ALWAYS hot. Dryer- dryer does not work well. Had to run a cycle multiple times to get dry clothes. Cleanliness- not very clean. Rings in toilets. My feet were black from walking on the tile with no shoes. My 1 year old doesn’t walk yet so that was a bit gross. Communication- quick to get someone out about the AC but I tried for MONTHS to get the condo info needed to rent a crib and they didn’t understand what I was asking or wouldn’t give it to me. Overall, would probably stay in a different condo next time

GORGEOUS spatious corner panoramic ocean front

Slice of heaven!! A week wasn't long enough! 19th floor penthouse suite sleeps 13. Two huge master suites ocean front, one has large walk-in closet and both have breathtaking gulf front views and larger than life ceiling to floor glass windows and sliding glass doors. Kid's room has 2 bunkbeds​ and sleeps 4 with DVD player. 4 bathrooms! Another bedroom has twin beds and private bathroom. 4th bedroom has a queen bed and shared bathroom with foyer entrance. (Bunkroom across the hall). Sleeper sofa is a queen in the living room just in case but we had 9 people and never needed it. Garage - 2 parked vehicles passes included. Park on second floor...Center elevator. Big plastic rolling carts really help! Garbage receptical right outside of the unit! Grocery stores a couple miles away. Nearest restaurant is Sea n Suds...Great for grabbing a quick burger or fish sandwich...oysters or shrimp. 3 pools, 2 hot tubs, 2 grills. LH1 is unbelievably beautiful. We all were so happy. Fun beachy theme and attention to every detail in the condo. Watched dolphins frolicking in the mornings between 9-10am. Kids went parasailing and had a blast... I highly recommend the photo package. No words for the awesome memories. (Chute em Up, by Sea n Suds). Beach service available $25/day...$ave money and bring your own umbrella and beach chairs. The unit has beach toys in the chest by the front entrance. A super huge pantry...walk in, and large laundry room. The kitchen is enormous and fully-equipped. Normal coffee pot. Crock-Pot. Everything you'll need. Bar area for yummy frozen coladas (& yes, they have a blender!) Granite countertops with barstools for 5. A dining room table seats 8. Bathrooms have hair dryers. Comfy beds! We'll be back!!!
