We thank you for letting us know about the steps being soiled when you arrived and we will address that with our housekeeping staff right away to avoid this issue for future guests. Mermaid Cottages provides a starter supply of toilet tissue/paper towels as noted in our Rental Agreement and our guests are encouraged to bring additional supplies as they feel the need. It certainly sounds like you had a wonderful time and enjoyed the kitchen and everything this cute and cozy cottage has to offer! We regret that due to your frustrations with contacting us and with the A/C issue at Cottage on the Green, you had a less than 5-star experience as that is our goal for every guest.
