Newly renovated single-family, beach cottage located in Mainsail gated community off Scenic Gulf Drive. Open kitchen and living room area with separate dining room. French doors lead to open common area and one of two community pools. Master bedroom and master bath with a fourth bedroom are located upstairs with a private balcony. Two bedrooms on main level with a guest bath.


Restaurants within three miles: Whales Tale, Pompano Joe's, Wahoo's, Captain Dave's, Baytown Wharf, Ocean Club.

Shopping: Complex across the street from Silver Sand Outlet Mall, Five Miles to New Destin Commons Shopping Mall and Movie Theater.

ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION:
* Deposit and Payment: 12% Florida sales tax and a $300 cleaning fee will be added to rental fee. Cancelations prior to 60 days may result in forfeiting deposit if unable to re rent dates. Cancelations within 60 days may result in forfeiting deposit and rental fee if unable to re rent dates.
* Property Owner not resposiable for any community amenities that may be closed during rental stay.

From check in to check out, our visit was perfect! The owners were so easy to communicate with and the cottage had all the things a family would need in order to have the best week at the beach. They thought of everything when planning for guests!

Best Beach Vacation!

This property was incredible! Having a full house, access to a private community pool, and a secluded beach made our family vacation unforgettable. The owners were wonderful, easy to communicate with, and quick to respond to any questions we had. While golf carts aren’t permitted in this private community, everything you need is just a short drive away!

Great get away

We had 6 adults, 3 kids, and plenty of room. The house is in a great location close enough to everything but still feels like a vacation. The most loved part by the kids is the pool, it is right outside the back door!

Comfy home

This was our first time in Miramar area we usually stay in Destin. This home is very nice and well equipped. The pool is literally steps from the back door which was great for the kids. Personally I missed having an ocean view to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds from a balcony or deck. I felt like there were more "rules" to follow than normal so we were a little nervous that we were going to get additional changes if we didn't leave the property almost perfect but I get it that you don't want your property to be destroyed or trashed. I don't know that I would rent it again for those reasons but it is a beautiful property and I would recommend it, very clean and lots of extras!

Wonderful Vacation Location

The property is wonderful and exactly as described. My husband and I traveled with my daughter, son in law and grandchildren ages 2 1/2 and almost 5. Although there was some construction while we were there, we were amazed that we could not hear anything inside the house! It was very well insulated! Quiet for when children needed to sleep! The cart provided is invaluable for walking to the beach. There is an entire box of sand toys for kids, so you don't really need to bring any. We went ahead and rented the umbrellas at the beach and the two chairs which cost $55 per day. The pool right outside the back door was our grandchildren's favorite part of the house. Everyone in the complex were very friendly and helpful. We felt very safe there! You are close to just about everywhere you would want to go. Koryn was wonderful to work with and very communicative. We will definitely consider returning in the future!

Dream Vacation

The beds mattresses & sheets were incredible! We’d like to know where we could purchase them- brand names, please!!! They made the week heavenly! There was plenty of room, seating was super for our group, & communication with the owners was excellent! Had a fabulous time with our entire family, everyone agreed! Thank you!

Great way to start my retirement

We had an awesome week staying in a great house. 8 adults, because I brought the entire crew to celebrate. The Drakes are great host. Only thing I would change, but it is impossible to do so would be to add a half bath.

Nice Vacation

House was great! Very clean and the owner was very friendly and helpful. We thought the toilet was leaking and she got back to us right away, and had someone out there! Supplied with everything you need. The only thing I would change is the blue room. I’d put the two twin beds upstairs instead of downstairs. It’s a smaller room. But other than that we absolutely loved it! (We left some sand toys for future guest, there’s no beaches in indiana )

Family Getaway

Nice place but could use some updates especially the bathroom on the 1st floor.

Nice place but could use umbrella on patio and don’t leave anything overnight on patio……items were stolen from us. Two of the bedrooms were (1 on each floor) pretty small and no immediate access to the bathrooms. Building location was great, right across the sidewalk to the pool, grills and shelter!

Nice Cottage

We enjoyed our week in cottage 34. We have been coming to Destin for vacation for 37 years now. This was our first time at Mainsail resort area. Short walk to the beach and it was nice area to grill and go to the pool.

Summer Family vacation

Pool side cottage

Love that this cottage is so close to the pool area ! We get together ever night to grill and gather with friends. Very nice patio and just a short walk to the beach!

Great for families!

House was well stocked (particularly the kitchen and beach items) with more than enough pots, pans, sand toys, etc. to accommodate our extended family of 7. Beach was about a quarter mile from the home and an easy walk. The community pool was heated in early April and very convenient to the house. Could even access the house wifi from the pool chairs! Grills at the pool were gas and very convenient to the home. Home was well maintained and showed minimal wear and tear from frequent renters. We would enjoy returning!

All the comforts of home BUT the amenities of a beach vacation!

A week in paradise! This cottage had everything we needed and MORE!! Located right next to the heated pool with grills, it offered us the ability to relax AND prepare our vacation meals without having to worry about what may have been forgotten. Tastefully (and festive) decorated with enough space to easily accommodate large families or groups of friends but cozy enough to feel like home for our small family. Definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy some beach time while feeling like you never left home!

Nice surprise

I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and I have high expectations. Unit is in great shape, clean, and very spacious. Owner was very easy to reach and helpful. Sooooo much nicer than staying in a condo, private, huge back patio and nice new furniture. 12 extra beach towels and several other extras. The walk to beach was my #1 concern, but it was EASY. From door to beach maybe 2 minutes, you can see and hear it from the driveway. Felt very safe in the gated community. Heated pool was in the backyard, great grassy areas and walking paths.
