The Space:

Located on the ocean side of Coastal Highway, this beautiful townhouse will give you the vacation experience you deserve. The community offers a private walkway to the beach, and one of Delaware's fine state parks is just a short distance away. You'll also be just a quick drive from Bethany Beach for casual or fine dining, strolling on the boardwalk, or shopping. The stairs in the foyer take you up to the main level. The kitchen, living room, and dining area are on this floor, along with a powder room and one bedroom. There is also a deck with seating and a table for alfresco dining. The next level has the primary bedroom with its own terrace and a bathroom with a spa tub. This level has an additional bedroom with a deck and another full bathroom with a shower. There is a laundry area with a washer/dryer on that level. The top floor has a bedroom with a private deck. Delaware Accommodations Intermediary License #2024712698 THINGS TO KNOW Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking, and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

When we arrived, the floor was soaked in the bedroom, and we found out it was a leaking water heater. It's hard to imagine no one including the housekeeper noticed this before we arrived. But benefit of the doubt, after 3 days the host did nothing to resolve this, not even moving us to another place. So, VRBO had to transfer us, twice, to other accommodations which made our trip very inconvenient, to say the least. It seems VueStay is not very receptive to problems happening.

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the unexpected water heater leak. Unfortunately, this was an unforeseen maintenance issue that occurred just prior to your arrival. As soon as it was reported, we coordinated with our local maintenance team to assess the situation. Due to the extent of the damage and the repairs required, the home could not be restored to a suitable condition as quickly as we had hoped. We understand that relocating during a vacation is frustrating, and we're sorry for the disruption to your trip. While the alternative accommodations were ultimately arranged through Vrbo, our team remained engaged throughout the process and worked with all parties to help facilitate a resolution. Unexpected maintenance issues can occur despite regular inspections, but we are committed to addressing them promptly and minimizing their impact on our guests. We appreciate your feedback and regret that this unforeseen situation affected your stay.

Disappointed. We arrived at 8 pm, intending to unpack, settle in, and go to bed. However, the house was in poor condition. Stains covered the carpet and sofas, and old liquid, crumbs, and debris littered the countertops, coffee tables, and drawers. My husband found a ripped acrylic nail in a drawer. Despite wiping down the countertops and unloading our food, we couldn’t find a place to store it in the cabinets. There were at least 30 cups occupying 5 cabinets, along with mismatched pots, pans, and old food. We had to clear a cabinet of cups to store our belongings. Out of all the junk, there was no can opener. Dirty towels were found in the upstairs hamper, and food wrappers were under nightstands, sofas, and the coffee table. Many light bulbs were either not working or missing altogether. The air return was without a filter and coated with dust. I sent a message about the condition of the house on VRBO, but received an automated message in the morning that didn’t address my concerns. The house could be a great place to stay if it were properly cleaned. The walk to the beach, nearby restaurants, and shopping were enjoyable, and we enjoyed the top balcony for beautiful sunrises. Be prepared to take the stairs! Parking is under the condo, so you’ll climb a flight of stairs to get into the place, and if you pick a bedroom upstairs, you’re climbing another flight of stairs.
