Wonderful Beach House-5 blocks to LightHouse & 2 blocks to beach- Open 8/25-9/1!

Newly painted and carpeted, this raised ranch has 3 bedrooms (King, Queen and Two Twins), 2 full baths, living room, dining area, and a gourmet kitchen. The house also has finished ground floor family bonus room with 2 full sized futons. The house also has a wonderful deck, surrounded by trees which provides a fabulous natural screen for privacy. The house has 4 TV's,Cable DVD, CD's high speed internet access, and central air.

The house is only 5 blocks to the lighthouse! In fact it is only a short walk to everything: the ice cream stores, deli, shops, beach and bay.

You'll find everything you need in this lovely home for a fabulous, relaxing vacation on the Jersey Shore. But don't wait too long to reserve your week (or weeks). This house rents out every year!

We rent Sunday to Sunday so if you see a Sunday blocked out on the calendar, but the following week is free, then the property is available from Sunday after 3:00 until 11:00 am the following Sunday.

*Minimum rental 4 days off-season/1 week during season

Lovely beach house

We had a wonderful stay! Plenty of room for all 10 adults. The basement futon was a hit. And we brought an air mattress that fit well downstairs. The deck was awesome for bbq and drinks at night. Close walk to the bay to watch beautiful sunsets. Mini golf and ice cream across the street. The Outside shower was awesome after a day at the beach so no sand would come inside the house. We will definitely be back !!

Great location and house layout

Having younger adults with us they enjoyed the downstairs room for privacy. Close to the beach but take the tram as the walk to get to the water is quite long.

Perfect Beach Get-away

This property is a terrific spot to take a summer vacation. Trees surround the property to give privacy, yet walkable to everything. Sunsets are visible from the deck, but there is also a platform across the street for an unobstructed bay sunset. The house provided plenty of room for us and was well stocked.

Coastal Comfort!

Enjoyed our stay in spacious, cool comfort! Plenty of space for our family of four, even more space than we needed. Loved the privacy of the deck, but near to all our favorite sunset viewing spots like the Lighthouse and the bay, Thought it might be noisy with the newly opened Jen’s Links mini golf, but it was never an issue and we enjoyed walking home after a game, plus a quick walk for icecream. Will definitely be back to stay. Thanks Susan!

So much family fun!

Great location for beach and for strolling to shops, gardens and Dairy Queen! Overflow room in the basement absorbs extra family and friends.

a wonderful family weekend

We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary and had a lovely time. the house was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. There are a few great restaurants to walk to nearby and of course the lighthouse is right there. Our only issue was that there were a few older family members that couldn't handle the walk to the beach, which was mostly over sand dunes. So we opted to drive to a beach that was easier for them to walk on. Not the host's fault obviously, but something to note if you will have older folks who cannot walk very far. We also couldn't get the outdoor shower to work (we were the first renters of the season, so maybe it hadn't been turned on yet?). Other than these two things, we had a marvelous time and would definitely recommend staying here.

Relaxing Week Away

My family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Susan's shore house. It provided us with all of the amenities that we needed and was situated on the quiet side of LBI. I would recommend this location for others.

Very Nice!

Great property and wonderful location.The place was clean and beautiful and in a convenient location. Everything that was described in the offering was there. I definitely recommend renting this lovely home.

Enchanting Beach house as listed!

I couldn't be more positive about this property. The setting is idyllic, private but open with beautiful trees and so much outdoor space. The house is immaculate, beachy, tastefully appointed with every possible amenity and convenience.The decor was exceptional. Anything you could ever think of or need was thought of beforehand. It was just glorious! The owners are incredibly hospitable and made everything as easy as possible. They made us feel like we were staying in our own private 5***** hotel. We could not believe how great the price and value was for such an amazing vacation haven. It's luxurious but so homey and comfortable. We felt like staying forever and will definitely rent again, over and over for years to come.

HOLIDAY HEAVEN

We stayed in this lovely home right after a bad storm and everything was in shipshape waiting for our arrival. This was impressive as the island had been evacuated! It was a perfect vacation in every way.I dream of returning for a longer stay. You feel completely relaxed in this enviorment and in Barnegat Light itself. The beaches are hugh! The bay and dunes and jetty are incredible sights and theres so much to explore.This is a perfect LBI getaway property.

New York escape

This is THE BEST escape ever! Fabulous property. The owners could not be more accommodating and helpful.Everything was impeccable. There is a hugh extra room for hanging out which has a separate entrance which was great for our boys to hang out in. We return here time after time and we are always impressed with the new touches. Incredibly well equipped kitchen and beautifully renovated, it's like a home away from home.The outside deck and grounds surround the house with trees and plenty of outdoor space. It's like a private oasis that is close to everything. We absolutely LOVE this vacation home.

Wonderful Vacation!

We stayed in this house last summer for our annual family vacation and we had a great time! The house was really pretty, and had everything that we could hope for to cook with and just enjoy ourselves. We loved being close to the little shops in Barnegat Light. And yet the house was very private and quiet. From the start of the rental process to the end, we found everything to be very easy. All and All a wonderful vacation...will definitely stay here again. Loved it!

Lovely, relaxing house to vacation in!

My family and I stayed in this house in August. We loved it!! The house is beautifully decorated and is very well equipped. It is peaceful and quiet, yet within quick walking distance to the ice cream store (Dairy Queen) and little shops. My children particularly like Mustache Bills. I spoke to the owner several times and found her to be very easy going and great to work with. I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about because we found the entire experience from renting to checking out very easy. Despite the fact that my son broke a lamp, we received our entire security deposit back within a few weeks of our stay. I would highly recommend staying in this home!

Bad experience, nice property

My family and I have been coming to LBI for over 20 years. We have rented countless homes on the island and we have never had an issue with the owner of any property. There were five adults and two mature children who stayed in the property for a total of one week. We had a wonderful week. The property is ideally located to take advantage of all the island has to offer. After a week of being home, I discovered that the owner had cashed my deposit check. This was done without any explanation at all. I proceeded to contact the owner and she informed me that there was a water stain on the rug. I assured the owner that all the adults had noted the stain upon the rug when we initially occupied the property. A series of correspondence followed. The owner accused us of urinating on the rug. She stated that the cost of cleaning the rug had to be subtracted from the deposit. There was never any initial question on her part nor an explanation of why the deposit was not returned in full. Please be very careful to identify and review pre-existing damages with some one responsible for the property and sign documentation of the damages. Take photos of the damages as well. You may be otherwise liable for damage you did not cause.

stayed here in august whith son & daughter inlaw and grand kids loved ever moment off stay beutifull house great for beaches and to unwind.(only drawback had to fence off spiral staircase from kids its a long drop down) but a great house.
