Peaceful Family Vacation Home In Cannon Beach, Easy Beach Access

Blue Ocean is an updated 3 BR, 2 Bath beach house on quiet street in the center of beautiful Cannon Beach, Oregon. Blue Ocean offers guests low-key relaxation in a clean, calm environment with lots of light. This single-level home is located close to the beach, as well as downtown and mid-town restaurants and galleries.

The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, and a few spices. Both bathrooms and kitchen are recently renovated, and the house has bath towels, beach towels, portable crib and pack and play. There are some toys, games and puzzles available as well.

We love everything about our neighborhood. A super easy bus ride from Portland will drop you off a few blocks from our house! We are one block (plus 2 houses) from the beach, and a short walk to both Haystack Rock and downtown. Nearby places include delicious restaurants, coffee shops and art galleries. You can rent beach bikes 3 blocks away, or walk into town and enjoy the playground. A short drive takes to to surfing beaches, and Ecola Park offers terrific hiking opportunities.

We have full time - or mostly full time - residents nearby. We are respecting their request that we do not allow dogs on the property. So, as sad as we are to say 'no dogs allowed', please consider our house if you like dog free houses.

7 night minimum in summer, and nightly rates range from $178 in winter to $297 in summer. Includes taxes. Cleaning fee extra.

Girls Trip

Girls trip, birthday celebration, sandcastle contest....this house was perfect! It's clean, bright, comfortable, and idealy located to both town and beach.

Close to beach

Our family reunion/birthday celebration was amazing. This lovely home allowed for a terrific gathering, very close to the ocean. The open kitchen fostered enjoyable cooking. I would look forward to return and stay at this home.

Perfect Cannon Beach Family Getaway

Our family of four just finished our second stay at this house, and we absolutely love it. The location is perfect - one block from the beach, and just minutes to walk to both sides of town. The house is furnished with comfortable furniture and has has everything you would need. Lisa also makes things super easy with great communication. Highly recommend!

Wonderful beach home with a fantastic location

We rented this house as a family of 4 for Thanksgiving week and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and there were even beach chairs and sand toys for us to use. The house was clean, light filled and there were lots of fun board games and puzzles. I absolutely loved the walkable location. You are 2 blocks from the beach and short walk to town or local and coffee shops. We will definitely be back!

Great Stay!

Our family had a great time at this house! There was plenty of space for everyone and the house is well supplied! It is also very close to the beach, Haystack rock, and the cute town... everything is walking distance, which we loved! The weather didn't always cooperate with us hahahaha, but we didn't mind being homebound in this space. If we had any questions or issues, the owner was always available to help! We would definitely come back again!!

Girls Trip 2023

Beautiful area and temps were great for us. House was clean may need a little more attention to detail when dusting like for example ceiling fans top of fireplace mantel but over all was clean. Furniture a bit uncomfortable to sit in the living room. Beds for most part comfortably middle room felt like it slopped to one side maybe just a mattress flip or turn would take care of it. Had great time enjoyed seeing the beautiful area.

Stay with friends

The bedrooms were great but no closet for hanging clothes in one bedroom. Two problems we had were dealt with fast. one of the problems was birds trying to nest at the front door which was messy and certainly the owner can't be faulted for that. Communication with the owner was fast. Great location close to the town and the beach. The house had lots of chairs to take to the beach and toys for kids and games for adults. I will stay there again.

Definitely a peaceful vacation home

What a wonderful and comfortable home. This house had everything we needed - huge kitchen with everything from a crock pot to and expressor maker! The furniture was very comfortable, especially the sofa - I fell asleep every day on that sofa! The location was perfect. A short walk to town, to the beach, a great coffee shop and Haystack Rock. Also, since the house was just up a side street from the main road, it is on a quiet street. Lisa (the owner) was great, answering my texts (when I had a cell signal) and telling where to go for water aerobics classes. We got home feeling more relaxed from vacation than we have from a vacation in a long time. We definitely will rent this home again if we are in the area.

Wonderful stay

Fantastic location, easy walking distance to haystack rock on the beach and to town! Great little house with well equipped kitchen, and clean and comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent, very responsive to questions. We had a lovely time!

Cannon Beach getaway

The coffee grounds were not emptied from the previous visit so the grounds were moldy. There was an infestation of ants in the bathrooms that needed our attention and may need an exterminator to help rid them. Overall, it was a great location for our visit.

Writer’s Retreat

My friend and I came here to work on our novels. The two large desks were perfect! The home is spacious with an open layout, with plenty of room for us to move around and pace and read. As a single-story we were lulled to sleep by the sound of the rain on the rooftop. This home is in a quiet neighborhood and is perfectly located for a quick walk to the beach and a walk into town. The owner has been very gracious and communicative. I will most definitely be back!

Enjoyed this lovely beach home

Great location, close to town and with easy beach access. We enjoyed the private front porch. The owners left helpful instructions for everything. Kitchen supplied with everything we needed for many of our meals. Comfortable living room space with lots to do in the evening. Looking forward to another stay soon.

Great home, great location!!

Wonderful home in a great location. So much room everyone got to pick their on bedroom and the kids had fun playing hide and seek in the home it was that big! Great yard for kids to play in, big deck, great kitchen/family room space and 2 bathrooms. Literally 90 seconds to the beach and there is a backroad that you can walk down to get to town/playground/skate park. Very clean to boot. Excellent expeirence!

My Stay At Downtown Cannon Beach House

Location of this property was perfect. Literally about three minutes walk to the beach. Perfectly central to everything, coffee shops, restaurants etc. . The cleanliness and the organization of the house is exactly as you see in the picture. The owners were very generous and allowed us to enter the property several hours before the actual check-in time free of charge. Also they kindly left us discount coupons to local restaurants and hot cocoa mixes out of consideration for us. When we came to realize how much fun it was to be at Cannon Beach house we decided to stay for an extra day and they accommodate us too. We will absolutely come back here again and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore Cannon Beach area. Love this house and the owners ❤️😊

A good space in a great location

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is literally 1.2 blocks from the beach! Lisa makes the check in process easy, house rules/expectations are reasonable, and the owner was responsive to our questions. Would stay again!

Easy and convenient

Great stay. Host was very helpful. Even had a new birds nest on the door that we got to watch all week. Best feature is 5 min walk to beach!

Great location

It matched the picture exactly so we knew what to expect. However, it was not very clean - dirty socks on the floor in one bedroom, a pocket knife on the floor of the living room, and just musty. The owner had sent us information about connecting to wi-fi but they were the wrong directions, The tv had hulu only but no channels other than espn and something that looked like cartoons. We tried to add CNN or any news channel but we didn't have the code. We went the weekend before Halloween so it was chilly but the pilot on the fireplace had not been lit so we couldn't use it either. A great location but we probably won't ask to stay here again

We are a family of three living in Portland. We moved here from Houston in 2005 and fell in love with Cannon Beach. We love visiting the coast and just reading and relaxing and playing in the sand. When not in Cannon Beach, we are skiers and enjoy lots of traveling.

Our house is primarily a family vacation home, in a quiet neighborhood, with simply amazing neighbors. We love just parking our car, riding our bikes or walking everywhere. The house is an uncluttered, peaceful place to visit. We love traveling all over the world, but we also love driving over to CB for the weekend to play, eat and read.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We chose this house because of its proximity to town and the beach. We love the house in part because it is such a friendly neighborhood. Everyone helps each other out, and we make a pilgrimage every 4th of July to participate in the Jackson Street Chair Brigade - a very silly part of the annual 4th of July parade. You can't live on our street and not be coaxed into a part of the parade.
