This beautifully renovated barn is situated on landscaped gardens overlooking gardens, forest & bucolic countryside. Just 60 miles from Chicago, it's located just outside of La Porte in a bucolic, serene setting, This retreat style property is five minutes from La Porte and ten minutes from Lake Michigan.

The Barn sleeps up to 8 and the Studio sleeps up to 8. The price is tailored to party size.
- Group size up to 12 and over will have The Barn and River Rock Studio.
- Groups 13-16 will have The Barn, River Rock Studio & Dorm Room

Depending on your party size, this rental gives you over 4500 sq ft of interior space and two buildings right next to each other. Both buildings have large communal spaces and external decks. The accommodation comprises:

THE BARN (Sleeps 8)
This unique 3000 sq ft 18th Century Barn has a large open plan lounge/kitchen/dining space on the mid level. Opens out to deck with fire pit. There is a full size pool table and real wood fire. A large open plan loft bedroom overlooks the living space. On the lower level there are two bedrooms and bathroom.

RIVER ROCK STUDIO (Sleeps 8)
The River Rock Studio offers an additional 1600 sq ft of flexible open plan lounge, studio and sleeping space. Opens out to deck. The studio space is flexible and can be used either as studio or sleeping space. Please advise the owner of preferences before arrival.

BEDROOMS

THE BARN
- Bedroom 1 is large loft style overlooking lounge and dining area (king bed and 3 twin beds)
- Bedroom 2 (2 twin beds)
- Bedroom 3 (2 twin beds)

RIVER ROCK STUDIO
- Flexible: Studio/Bedroom 4 can be used as communal area or to sleep four in queen and king bed. Advise host of preferences before arrival
- Bedroom 5 is 600 sq ft dorm style room in River Rock Studio that and sleeps five in twin beds. Includes beautiful fireplace, seating area

There is WiFi in The River Rock Studio but not in The Barn

Guest Access

- Guest have access to the Barn and River Rock Studio
- Tipi is not included in booking but can be rented as an extra space

Interaction with Guests

On site management. Available as needed.

HOUSE RULES
- NO SMOKING IN OR NEAR BUILDINGS
- NO EXTRA GUESTS without prior approval and payment (day guests and overnight) Guests are evicted immediately without refund if this rule is not followed.
- NO EXCESSIVE LOUD NOISE outside without prior agreement. No amplified sound without prior discussion. Local ordinance laws apply and we also love our neighbors!
- NO NOISE OUTSIDE after 11pm ET or before 9am ET. Local ordinance laws apply and we also love our neighbors!
- Guests are responsible to pay for any damages or missing items
- No-one under 21 unless accompanied by parent or legal guardian
- Do not place anything on the pool table cover - it's not a table
- Clean grill, kitchen and all dishes as you would normally after cooking.
- Do not move furniture without permission
- Do note use towels to remove make up, clean up mess or do anything that will stain them. Stained towels will be charged at $25 per towel.
- Do not remove furniture from building without permission
- Please discuss events or parties with host before booking
- Extra fees are charged for cleaning if these rules are not followed
- By confirming this booking, the guests agree to sign rental release waiver. Host can email a copy of this prior to booking.
