This beautifully renovated home sleeps six. It has a south-facing patio that overlooks the golf course and provides spectacular mountain views. Monterey Country Club is a gated community, centrally located in Palm Desert, within ten minutes of many restaurants, shops and stores of every description, the College of the Desert weekend market, and the Shops on El Paseo. The Palm Springs Airport is just 25 minutes away, as is the iconic Thursday night street fair in Palm Springs.

Our fully air-conditioned home is located on a quiet street, and is just a short, 2 minute walk to the nearest pool and hot tub. A top-to-bottom renovation has been completed, including plush carpet in the three bedrooms and tile throughout the rest of the house. All of the cabinets are new, with granite counter tops.

The well-equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances, including a gas range and built-in microwave oven. You'll also find a toaster oven, waffle maker, blender, coffee grinder, and other small appliances. The large window over the sink offers a view of the golf course and the surrounding mountains. You'll enjoy lots of good lighting and a ceiling fan to keep you comfortable. There's an exterior door that leads onto the patio.

The master bedroom has a California king bed with a three-inch memory foam topper, a 42 inch, flat-screen TV, a ceiling fan, and a spacious, totally renovated en suite bathroom.

The den has a bonus queen bed, comfortable leather recliner, a 42 inch flat-screen TV with DVD, a ceiling fan, and direct access to the second bathroom, which has been totally renovated.

The second bedroom has twin beds with three-inch memory foam toppers, a rocking chair and a ceiling fan.

The living room has two cozy couches and two recliners for relaxing in front of the 52 inch flat-screen HDTV. There's also a gas fireplace to keep you warm during the winter evenings and a ceiling fan to keep you cool during the day. Next to the fireplace is a granite-topped bar with an under-counter wine cooler. A new sliding glass door leads onto the patio.

The extended patio is south-facing and overlooks the golf course. It is equipped with a retractable awning, an outdoor granite counter, a table and umbrella, several chairs, two comfortable loungers, and a barbecue.

There is a telephone for your use with free calling throughout the U.S.A. We've got your calls to Canada covered, as well. There is also free WiFi and a wireless laser printer.

The beautifully appointed club house is available for fine or casual dining. You won't want to miss the Friday night pasta buffet.

We're confident that you will enjoy your stay in this comfortable home away from home.

The owners have done a very tasteful and comfortable renovation which was always a pleasure to come back to. The patio is very private and close to the Clubhouse and pool. Having use of 2 bikes was a bonus. We would highly recommend staying here. J and J

Absolutely Perfect!

Everything about this stay was wonderful. Communication with Linda was prompt, the house was clean and I have never seen a property more well furnished. The kitchen had every appliance you could need- there was even a spice drawer with every spice for cooking. The beds were super comfortable. We could not have asked for anything but more time in this lovely home.

Wonderful !

We really enjoyed our stay - House is spacious, very clean and has everything you need. We spent many hours on the spacious deck overlooking the golf course. The pool and hot tub are just awesome and are only a short walk away. Very close to the golf courses we love and to shopping, many restaurants as well as the College of the Desert, El Paseo, and the Living Desert zoo. Our hosts were super helpful anytime we needed them. We would return in a heartbeat !

Great rental with thoughtful and responsive owners

We had an amazing experience with this home and owners during our 2 month pandemic rental. The home was just as described with exceptional mountain and fairway views from the deck, living room, and kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils for grilling, baking, and cooking. Beds and linens were comfortable, water was always hot, and the garage was spacious for our vehicle and gear. The owners, Linda and Allen, were welcoming, helpful, and extraordinarily responsive. They thought of almost every detail renters could need, including having a back up printer toner cartridge available. They even allowed use of holiday decorations including an awesome Christmas palm tree. When the furnace had an issue, Allen had a repair person analyzing it within 2 hours, and the malfunctioning part replaced within 4 hours. The location on the 7th fairway of Monterey Country Club’s east course was private and quiet, and an easy walk to all the complex amenities. Pools and hot tubs are available for renters use. Meals from the clubhouse are reasonably priced, and during the pandemic include free delivery. Golfers can purchase reasonably priced Tier memberships which also include access to the outdoor fitness center and sports courts. We enjoyed both group and private golf lessons. The home is well situated to access endless hiking trails, multiple mountain ranges, as well as shopping and art opportunities in Palm Desert and Palm Springs. We hope to return to this home and rent from Linda and Allen again.

Very comfortable condo.

Had a wonderful time in Palm Desert and part of the reason was the wonderful condo we stayed in and the people who own it. They were so easy to deal with and that is so much appreciated. The place was clean, tidy, nicely updated and furnished, and we loved the patio and spent a lot of time just relaxing on it. There were 2 bikes in the garage which we enjoyed riding, not something a lot of condos have. If the timing was right, we would certainly look at renting this condo again.

Absolutely nothing negative to report. This house has every gadget, pan, dish, glass, towels, etc that one would ever need or want. Bright, clean, comfortable, modern. Will return. Any time.

Wonderful home to enjoy with perfect location!

Upon arrival, we were delighted to find the home in impeccable condition. The decor and furniture are perfectly suited to the home. The well supplied and updated kitchen has a beautiful exposure overlooking the golf course with views west to the mountains. The outside patio is super private with comfortable patio furniture including a chair set, chaise lounges; dining table and gas heater. Linda (owner) was wonderful in checking in with us prior and at the beginning of our stay. The home is so well equipped. Everything has been taken into consideration of wants and needs, Including pool toys! It is obvious that that the renovation on the home was completed with careful consideration to detail. We loved our stay and are so looking forward to our return! John and Joanne

Perfect holiday home in Palm Desert

Absolutely lovely comfortable upgraded 3 bedroom condo with everything included one could ever wish for - comfortable beds, plenty of seating in living and dining rooms, and the kitchen is perfectly stocked with plates, cutlery, glasses, pots, pans, and everything in-between. Lovely sitting on the patio for breakfast each morning and every evening with a glass of wine. And the amazing view never gets old! We used the bikes daily. The walk to the nearest pool took two minutes. The neighbours are all friendly. The College of the Desert Saturday and Sunday morning market is an easy walk or bike ride. Close grocery shopping five minute drive to Albertsons or Bristol Farms. Very easy drive to El Paseo Drive shops and restaurants and easy access to main thoroughfares to Indian Wells, many desert hikes and Palm Springs airport. And every golfer would love the course, driving range and putting green. Perfect for adults or teens or little ones. We will definitely book this condo in future years.

Wonderful vacation home

We recently rented this beautifully appointed and well positioned home , and were not disappointed. The house is exactly as represented with spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and a great location. We enjoyed the golf course facing patio and the pool and hot tub nearby. Additionally, it was easy to get to the great shops and restaurants on El Paseo, as well as the nearby weekend market and to all major landmarks in the area. We shared this rental with another couple and it worked very well for all of us. The owners were pleasant and easy to deal with...... In short, we would not hesitate to book this again for a future vacation in the Palm Desert area.

Simply wonderful

We have rented many times in this well known and well placed Golf & Country Club. This owners (not an investor) house has been far far the best. You must visit the weekend market and El Paseo both only a couple of miles away. The supermarkets and restaurants are also very nearby. This bungalow is spotless and very well equipped. We loved every minute of it. South facing patio. All new kitchen and bathroom has been updated. Most haven't been done. Although we don't BBQ we noticed it was brand new. Even the garage is spotless and empty of junk (which most aren't!). I would recommend this wonderful house to anybody looking to rent in P.D. You certainly won't regret it.

Perfect Home in Palm Desert

We could not have been more comfortable for the 2 months we spent in this recently renovated impeccable home in Monterey Club. Everything is as presented, and then some, with lots of attention to detail to provide that extra touch of luxury. The kitchen is new and very well equipped and designed to enjoy entertaining on the patio or at the formal dining table. Owners, Linda and Allen, were readily available by phone or email and assisted in any way possible. A binder of information is available which was very helpful to us as new visitors to the area. The location is absolutely ideal for enjoying the whole Valley and particularly Palm Desert. It’s an easy walk to Starbucks, and to the Saturday and Sunday morning market at College of the Desert. Shopping, restaurants, library, movies, theaters are only 10 minutes drive away. However you might not wish to leave Monterey club often as it has an elegant feel about it, so well maintained and lovely to walk around. It is a gated community and felt very secure. It was a beautiful place to come home to after a day’s touring. We loved the comfy bedding, leather reclining chairs, short walk to the heated pool and hot tub- there are a few to choose from, including at the main club house, and we appreciated the quiet location. Hubby liked that big TV for sports and the broadband WiFi. Pasta night at the club house is excellent in taste and value. We rent homes in various areas each year, and we rate this property at the highest level. We highly recommend this beautiful home and hope it is available to us another year.

A Home Away from Home

A fabulous property...South facing so a lovely sunny patio. Spacious bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Kitchen equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need and a huge dining table that can seat the whole family plus a few guests. Great living room with a big screen TV. Have stayed here twice and was not disappointed. Spotlessly clean too! The common property is well cared for with many lovely pools and the food at the club house is very good and reasonable.

For many years, we dreamed of owning a home in Palm Desert. We enjoy exploring the many hiking trails, checking out the local shops and markets, trying our hand at tennis, going to movies and shows, relaxing on the patio with good books, and sampling the varied cuisine of the numerous nearby restaurants. We're very happy with our choice of Monterey Country Club. Having retired just a few years ago, we are enjoying this wonderful retreat. We love sharing it with our family and friends.
