Duplex apartment in the heart of Paris between Louvre and Royal Palace

Ideally located in the heart of Paris, charming apartment, on TWO FLOORS very quiet and very bright: 6th floor with elevator. 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds and one bedroom with 1 single bed. IMPORTANT: The apartment cannot accommodate more than 4 people. It is also not recommended for families with children. The staircase leading upstairs is not suitable for young children. Finally, the neighbors being attached to the tranquility of this very quiet building, we cannot allow ourselves to accommodate groups likely to make too much noise. The apartment will therefore be in the same way not recommended for adults likely to "party"! A BIG THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING. 2 steps from the house: The Louvre, the Royal Palace, Beaubourg, rue St-Honoré, rue de Rivoli, the new Canopée Forum des Halles center (all the major retail chains). 15 minutes on foot: Opéra, the Marais, Saint Michel district, Notre Dame, the Champs-Elysées. Without forgetting to 5 minutes the charming and lively district of Montorgeuil with its pedestrian streets and its restaurants and brasseries. Apartment surrounded by all Metro and RER stations to go to the Eiffel Tower, the Château de Versailles. WELCOME !

We are 2 grandparents and a teen. The upstairs bedroom was perfect for the teen, and had ac which helped during the hot days. It was well equipped and everything worked well. It is a very quiet neighborhood with restaurants, grocery, and bakeries close by. Easy walking to the Louvre, D’Orsay, Notre Dame, Le Orangerie, the Tullieries, the Opera House. It is small but comfortable.

The location was the biggest plus. Close to almost all the major attractions we wanted to see. We did take a Bolt to and from the Eiffel Tower and museums in that area. the apartment was clean, comfortable and quiet. The propane stove was top notch. The counter top oven was small but I cooked half of the pizza at a time. I mention this because with the right attitude this apartment works really well it is in an old building but it was clean and suitable for our needs. Daniel was an excellent host.

Perfect apartment for a short stay

Well-situated, no frills apartment with an excellent host. Terrific value, especially for a couple with young adult children. Not luxurious but has everything you need.

Paris Apartment

This is a wonderful true Parisian apartment. Daniel is a great host easy to communicate with and helpful. Apartment clean and so charming. Centrally located to everything. Restaurants and groceries close by. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location, perfectly quaint

Three friends and I were lucky enough to stay at Daniel’s beautiful Parisian apartment in the 1st and couldn’t say enough good things about it. It’s situated in a really wonderful location closeby to a major metro station, cafes, shops, grocer, etc. which made for a really smooth trip. Daniel was incredibly helpful when we requested his expert guidance on navigating the city - he is a wonderful host! We definitely plan on returning one day.

Perfect location

The apartment was beautifully situated between restaurants, access to the Metro, and walking distance to many sites we visited. The building is a quiet, charming escape from the busy day. All the basics are provided, and Daniel is very attentive to any questions or recommendations you might require. Several markets to stock up on necessities are close by. I would definitely recommend this to friends, and would stay again if I return to Paris!

Daniel is fantastic. Very responsive and helpful. Great location in Paris. Felt very secure. Apartment has a lot of charm, a bit funky but worked for us and we loved. All the resources we needed.

Marvelous stay in the heart of the city

This apartment was a short walking distance to so many excellent restaurants, 3 metro stops and RER directly to airport, and the Louvre, Centre Pompidou, and Forum Les Halles shopping area!! The host, Daniel, was quick to respond and so helpful with any little question I had. The apartment was perfect for our stay in Paris with all of the amenities that one could ever want. Highly recommend!!

Great location!

The apartment was comfortable, clean and so easy to access restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacies. For fast easy access to any part of Paris, contact BOLT, cheaper than Taxis and you can order online on their website and they are usually there very quickly! We used them constantly because we could not walk great distances due to our age and health problems and they were so reasonable! Would rent again!

Great Location

Place worked great for our week long stay in Paris for our family including our 3 teenage daughters. Quiet, clean, easy & numerous metro stations nearby. There are a few grocery stores on the way back to the apartment from the different train stations. Daniel was a great communicator & gave great instructions on how to find the apartment the first time since Las Halles Metro Station is huge. We needed a place to sleep & regroup each day and this place worked great for our needs.

Convenient apartment

A fantastically situated apartment, clean and well appointed. Perfect for a couple and maybe one or two older children. Attic stairs to loft bedrooms unduitable for adults.. bedrooms 2unsuitable

The stairs in the flat are small, but suitable for adults of all ages. This is also why the rental price in the centre of Paris is quite reasonable for 4 people.

Fantastic location for walking to many great sights of Paris!!

This property is just two blocks from the Louvre and easy walking to many other sights and neighborhoods of central Paris but remains quiet. It is tiny but has everything you need with very comfortable beds. We were five people but very comfortable despite the small space. The layout is just as it appears in the photos with the wc being next to the bath. The host responds to inquiries quickly and the housekeeper very pleasant and belpful. The 6 flights of stairs are not that steep and an elevator is being installed in the building.

Our Paris home!

My family and I enjoyed this quaint Parisian flat on the top floor very much. It was walking distance to so many things. (The Louvre was a 10 minute walk.) Though it did get quite hot during the heat wave we were able to cool it down with open windows and the fans that are provided. Daniel was a great host and communicator. The place fit my husband and I on the main and our 4 children up in cozy upper level. I loved the classic courtyard location as well!

Family and teen

We stayed for six nights and it was perfect. The apartment was just what we wanted. The perfect size and the location was ideal. Daniel's instructions and communication were outstanding. The place was clean and felt very safe. We were there during a heat wave and the fans really helped but could have used more since it was it was on the top floor. Though all things considered the place stayed cooler than outside. I would recommend having a lounge chair or a small love seat in the dining room area. I would absolutely stay again.

Small but charming

What the flat lacks in space - it is a little cramped upstairs, it makes up for in charm. It has oodles of it. The flat is set in a lovely courtyard behind the biggest door I have sever seen. It is a quiet and pleasant setting. I did not know this area of Paris that well but I was very impressed with it. It is very central, so that you can walk to most places. You have the Palais Royal just round the corner, the delightful Place Des Victoires and if you fancy some nightlife Rue Montorgueil has some lovely bars and restaurants. We had a very enjoyable and easy stay and I would recommend it. Daniel was very helpful.

Exceptional host

We had a wonderful stay in Daniel’s apartment. It was important that we each had our own space so having 3 bedrooms was great. Daniel is an outstanding host. Communication was top notch throughout. It’s a humble apartment that is quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. Stairs to upper bedrooms very tight and narrow but totally doable. Thought one bathroom would be a challenge but it really wasn’t. Extra sink upstairs came in handy. Location super convenient. Les Halles is pretty close. Definitely go there for best grocery options. That’s where we picked up the metro as well. Highly recommend, thank you Daniel!!

Paris apartment

This apartment is in an excellent location, about a 5-7 minute walk the Les Halles Chatelet or Louvre Metro stops. Daniel was an excellent host, extremely responsive. We had an issue with a faucet and I texted him, and he came the next day and repaired it. Check-in was easy. The apartment itself is clearly a real home, and it is somewhat rustic. There is a table for eating, but there is not really a living room, so there is no sofa or lounging chairs in the common area. The master bedroom is spacious. We enjoyed the location, and towards the end of our stay discovered a cool pedestrian zone with many restaurants a few blocks away. This apartment is a good option if you want an excellent location in central Paris and are okay with a more rustic apartment in exchange for a very good price.

great location and value

We are a family of six with children ranging from 10-16. We loved this apartment. You are so close to all tourist attractions but on a quiet block that also has groceries, bakery, restaurants within a few blocks. The layout was very good for a family where the kids can have some down time and privacy (and fast wi-fi) in the tiny rooms upstairs and the parents enjoy the big and lovely mbr on the main floor. The kitchen is small but really well organized with everything you need for basic cooking when you need it. Very small w/c and only one bathroom, but that wasn't important to us. Everything worked and was clean and in good order. We also didn't mind the walk up the stairs. Worth it for the value and location of this apartment. Being high up, and in the back of the courtyard it was also really quiet, with no street noise issues. Finally, kudos to the owner who was prompt and professional and answered every question we came up with. This is exactly how vrbo should work. Thanks, and we look forward to coming back in the future.

What a pleasure to have welcomed such a family friendly, caring and curious to discover Paris in good conditions. That's right, and I am always happy, the apartment was ideal for them: Parents in the large downstairs bedroom; children in the two bedrooms upstairs. They left the house in an impeccable state. I hope accuellir them again next time! In addition there will be the lift end of 2016!

Well furnished. Daniel was always available and helpful. The only shortcoming is the narrow stairway to the upstairs bedrooms which is not suitable for very young children or older guests. Our teenage grandchildren wre fine with stairs. Otherwise, an excellent apartment in a good location.

The apartment was perfect for our first trip to Paris. It had enough space for the four of us. It is in a great location near the Louvre and a bustling neighborhood full of restaurants and shopping. It's also near a great metro/bus station that we used to get almost everywhere we wanted to go. The owner was very responsive and great at answering all of our questions. Would definitely stay here again.

On est restée une semaine avec ma fille, mes parent nous ont rejoint pour quelques jours. Apartment lumineux, au calme avec une cuisine bien équipée. L’ascenseur a bien fonctionné. Nous avons apprécié avoir de la place et du comfort, de pouvoir marcher partout sans prendre le métro!
