Ocean front on North Ka'anapali beach and located in the Lanai Tower. An ocean front bedroom allows for a greater view from this 5th floor Mahana condo. Tastefully furnished in a tropical green theme with all the amenities. The bedroom has a new 40 inch LED flat screen TV with Blue Ray player that plays CDs and DVDS. There is also a new amplifier which plays iPhones, iPods and iPads. The condo has central a/c, free local calls and free Wi-Fi. No resort fees or parking fees! All you need to bring is your food and clothes to start your Maui Vacation.

1. Kahekili Beach Park (Airport Beach): Generally calm conditions, excellent snorkeling and swimming, public restrooms, BBQ grills and large grassy area
2. Honokowai Beach Park: Great for snorkeling due to shallow, reef protected beach, Children’s playground area, plenty of shade, tables and BBQ grills
3. Pohaku Park (S-Turns): Calmer during summer months, sandy and rocky shoreline, picnic tables

unparalled view

The view is spectacular. We have stayed at this condo complex many times. This one, although clean and spacious, does need some updates. The rental company was very accomodating and very quickly and graciously addressed any of our concerns. we enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Wonderful Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Yes we had an awesome stay in 518 Mahana condo. That was our 2nd time to stay there. The condo has everything you would need. Quiet peaceful right by the ocean we heard the waves 23/! Did not want to leave.

Beautiful location, terrible communication

The location was perfect, however, we originally booked at the Mahana, and were relocated to the Kahana Reef due to construction, which meant we were no longer within walking distance from our family. When we arrived at 4:00 (check in was at 3:00), the condo was a mess, pile of towels, linens not changed and a dirty bathroom. We called the emergency number 7 times, and expected a return call within 30 minutes, which is what the message said (no one answered the call). It took four hours for someone to respond, and then it wasn't until 9:30pm that it was finally cleaned. There was only one roll of toilet paper, and there were not extra garbage bags, which meant we had to use the bathroom garbage for the last two days. According to Chasin' Rainbows, the reason we were moved in the first place was because of construction, which. made the construction noise disruption we experienced at Kahana Reef even more upsetting.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice condo, great location with ocean view, full appliances (incl. apt. sized washer/dryer), TV in living room and bedroom (channel lineup standard; for movie channels must have own subscription), carpet a bit dated (updated condos tend to use non-carpet flooring) but not awful. Complex undergoing exterior renos but these were fairly non-intrusive. Complex has a nice pool, is just down the lane from a full grocery store and a parking lots with multiple food trucks. Maui Bus $2 per trip ($1 for seniors) hourly bus service into Lahaina is also at the end of the lane.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When our original condo was cacnelled due to construction - just as we arrived in Maui - we were offered this instead. It is not as modern, but fantastic views and furnished with everything we needed, including a beach umbrella! We loved it.

Reviewer Comments: Stayed for a month at unit 518.Warned there was on going work with spalling and waterproofing on outside of building.Never told what that meant.Ropes and working elevators in front of our windows,remodeling in adjacent units,drilling and grinding for hours almost daily,cover patio railing with plastic,non functioning refrigerator for 3 days,vacating the unit for 6 hours,slighting patio door and screen not functioning well etc.Unit needs remodeling.This unit should have never been rented at this point.will rent again when building repairs are done and unit is remodeled

Beautiful condo with unmatched view!

We absolutely loved it here. The condo was airy and spacious and super clean! But the view was like nothing you would believe. And it was so peaceful and quiet. No human noise at all. Just the sound of the ocean. The pool was nice too. We were just a quick trip to anywhere. Snorkeling was great just outside the condo and we saw dolphins from our window too! A trip well never forgot!

Old and poor beach location

The room itself was very out dated compared to other units in the building - with not much difference in price. Shower was so short that we had to crouch to get under the water. The beach was very very small or non existent depending on the tide and the water surrounding was all rock - so you had to be careful to not get hurt
