Darling beach style 2 bedroom, 1 bath, single level cottage style condo in park like setting. Ground floor, no one above or below. New 55' TV, high speed internet and YouTube TV with over 100 channels. Two nice sized bedrooms; one with CA KING bed and the other with QUEEN bed each with large mirrored closets. Cottage condo opens to large grassy area and has a private courtyard with BBQ and patio table with umbrella. Just a short walk to Community pool. 2 beach chairs, 4 Beach Towels for you to use. Plan your vacation to visit Disneyland (25 minute drive), Knott's Berry Farm (25 minute drive), Aquarium of the Pacific (20 minute drive) and 8 miles sandy beaches (less than 5 minute drive). Huntington Beach, also known as 'Surf City', is located along the Southern California coast in Orange County, 35 miles south of Los Angeles and 90 miles north of San Diego. We enjoy beautiful weather and a comfortable coastal climate, many shopping opportunities and wide-range recreational options. Portable Air Conditioner located in family room and condo is also cooled by ceiling fans in both bedrooms and dining room and cool ocean breezes. There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms and dining area. This is a NO Smoking complex. One parking pass to park within community included. Unless otherwise agreed upon, CHECK IN TIME IS 2PM and CHECK OUT TIME is 11am. NO PETS ALLOWED.

My family (my husband, me, and our two toddlers) spent all of June & July 2021 here and LOVED it! The condo was perfect, Curt & Joanne were lovely and easy to work with, the neighborhood and proximity to the beach were great, Trader Joe’s was just down the street…We really couldn’t ask for more! 10/10 would recommend.

Relaxing getaway

Tastefully decorated condo completely stocked with all necessary items for a month long stay. Easily accessible and located in a great spot on spacious grounds. Owners responded quickly to any questions we had . The complex is quiet and relaxing. Would highly recommend this rental .

An amazing find

Its rare to find a property that over delivers but I'm glad to say this one has. Its very tastefully decorated, very clean. Lots of instructions and guides to the local area. A shared pool just a minutes walk away and a great location for visiting huntington beach and other local attractions. Communication from owners excellent and the accommodation had some basic provisions to ease the start of the stay. A great find, in short.

Comfortable Quiet & Cozy

We spent the month of January in this cute condo, and we felt at home right away. Comfortable, quiet and cozy. Stocked with thoughtful extras too. The location was perfect to access the Pacific Coast Highway and easy to catch sunsets. Comfortable mattress, plenty of hot water and lots of open storage. Joanne responded to our requests quickly and checked in to make sure everything met expectations. We would love to return and would highly recommend it for your California getaway.

Beautiful, quiet, lovely owners

We stayed here for 6 weeks while my partner did some work in the U.S- was a really lovely, family friendly complex and Joanne was great- responded very promptly to any problems we had- was usually over within a couple of hours. House is cute and the beds are super comfy! Our toddler loved the community pool and the neighbours were all friendly and welcoming yet was still very private. Highly recommend x

This is awesome !!!

This Condo have everything you need to feel like home. The neighbors are so nice an friendly. What else should I write everything is exactly like on the pictures and Joanne described. We are so thankful to Joanne and Curt that they rent it to us. We hope it was not the last time and we are sure we will come back again. Thank you so much that our vacation was indescribable and our 5 year old son didn't want to go home. Joanne is so thoughtful.

Excellent home, good location

very nice home, quiet location but still close to the beaches and shops. Home is very well appointed and comfortable. Two nice size BR, large family room and eating area. Kitchen is a little small but very adequate. Neighborhood is very quiet, neighbors are friendly and the grounds are very well maintained. Definitely would recommend it.

Quaint summer condo in superb location

We reserved this condo for 10 days in July. It is in a very peaceful and tranquil location yet in close proximity to shops, beaches and the freeways. The property is spotlessly clean and exceptionally well maintained, the owners have created a home from home for their guests. The amount of effort they have taken to create a perfect holiday home is evident in the attention to detail in every room . They have beach chairs, bikes and bodyboards for your use as well. Huntington Beach and the surrounding area is stunning and packed full of activities, we particularly enjoyed Paddle boarding in Huntington Harbour , Bonfires on the beach watching the sunset, cycling to breakfast at the Sugarshack on Main Street and browsing the stalls at the weekly Tuesday night market . Would love to return again someday

Comfortable, peaceful, clean. Didn't want to leave!

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Such a better deal than a hotel. Very comfortable (beds comfy too - and we are picky!) really nice, light and nicely designed space, bigger and even cuter than it looks in the photos. The condo is equipped with everything you might need (with the exception of baby items - we rented a crib from a local baby rental company, which was really easy, and although we could have used a few other things like plastic toddler plates, cups, utensils, and a high chair, we could have rented these and I got the feeling that if we'd asked ahead of time, Joanne would have been happy to help find these items.) There were even small items like tape, ziplock bags, etc - the little things you always need and usually don't find at a vacation home. We swam in the complex's pool every day, and our 22 month old daughter loved watching basketball and collecting leaves outside the front door of the condo. We visited the little playground less than 1/2 a mile down the street, too. We used the kitchen for almost every meal (we like to cook, I have some food allergies, we are kind of health freaks and we are usually disappointed by restaurants) which was super easy to do since there's a Trader Joe's 0.3 miles away, and a Whole Foods 10 mins away. (There are closer grocery stores such as Albertsons, as well as CVS and Walgreens pharmacies right nearby.) Our favorite beach was Seal Beach, which is a few minutes further North. Our daughter loved the little playground at Seal Beach. We also visited Sunset Beach which has a playground as well. We drove 10 minutes to the juice bar Nekter on a daily basis and drank their Toxin Flush smoothie (yum!) and their cold pressed coffee drinks, and on our last day we ended up at Seal Beach again, and we ate Bistro St Germain, a little french restaurant with awesome food. Try the veggie crepe and a glass of the Parker pinot noir. Such a great trip. Thanks for the quarters for the laundry room, too! We totally used them!

Great Experience, Great Value!

Spent spring break here last week with wife and 2 kids and had a great time. Condo was clean, well decorated, comfortable and fun! Was close to everything we needed - grocery store, restaurants, etc. Much cheaper and a lot more space for the money than staying in a hotel. Perfect home base for exploring southern CA, visiting Disneyland, or relatives (which is why we were in CA). Owners are local and very responsive - both by email and phone. Can't reccomend enough. Will be staying here again in the future when we come back to visit. Mike and Colleen D., April 2016

Pretty little cottage in a nice neighborhood.

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay in Joanne's cottage condo. The interior very clean and was tastefully decorated in a contemporary decore without being over done. Joanne was very communicative and helpful regarding check-in and check-out procedures and area amenities. Although we didn't cook during our stay, the kitchen was well equipped with virtually everything that an avid cook will need. There was even a container of quarters for the common laundry facilities. The master bed was comfortable, but we did not use the second bedroom. We were a mile or two from downtown and the beach, but the traffic was quite easy to navigate. Our daughter and family live in Huntington Beach and we hope to be back to this cottage several times in the future.

This very nicely updated condo is located in a very quiet and peaceful area of the complex.

We enjoyed our month in this unit while we celebrated the arrival of our new granddaughter. The unit was clean and comfortable with nice towels, bedding and very comfy beds. The owners were very responsive to our questions. Parking was easy..beaches were 5 min. drive and shopping close by.

Perfect!

Perfect little condo! Our family stayed here over the holidays and loved it! Bright, cheery, and quite beachy, it has been recently updated and the owners have done a terrific job with design and décor. Everything is clean, organized, and well-stocked. The owners have taken care to lots of little details that really made our stay comfortable and us feel at home--fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, throws (blankets) in the living room for chilly nights, iron/ironing board, etc. Although the condo is not that large, it actually feels quite spacious and was just right for our family of four. It is located in a complex of many units but there is no one above or below this unit and we felt everything was quiet and peaceful. We had a small problem with the oven/stovetop while we were there and the owners were professional and prompt in getting it fixed. We were all sad when it came time to leave--my 6-year old son even commented that he wanted to stay forever! We will definitely stay here again in the future and would most certainly recommend this property to others.

Sehr schönes Condo in traumhafter Gegend, ideal zum Surfen, ca 3 km Weg zum wunderschönen Strand. Dear Joanne and curt, we had driven wonderful weeks in their tasteful apartment, we have recovered very well us with great weather and a heavy heart back to Germany. maybe we come at a later time like back to Huntington Beach. Wonderful Place to Stay and enjoy surrounding Beaches

This place is so adorable and very comfortable. It is clean and very well furnished. I loved the decor and all of the things that the owner has done to make it a great place to stay. They have thought of everything. Beautiful sheets, wonderful towels, and nice furnishings. It was very hot while we were there but even though this unit did not have air conditioning we opened the windows and ran the fans and it was pleasant. The owners were very responsive to our requests and took care of everything for us. I loved it and so did our kids! We will hope to stay here again in the future because we enjoyed it so much.

Great Place

I stayed here with my husband and our 21 month old son! It was perfect! The place is nicely decorated and came with the amenities of home! My mother, sister and I stayed here for a week. Very enjoyable! We came to see family and this was a great location for us. The condo is very nicely decorated and everything was well stocked for kitchen and bath. Our deposit was returned in about 5 days, and Joanne was great to work with. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

EXCELLENT CONDO

My wife and I spent 2 and a half weeks there over the Christmas/New Year period. Excellent location, very well furnished and extremely comfortable. We did not meet the owner, but communications with her were excellent. I highly recommend this.
