Avila Beach Rental House. Life by the Sea. Avila Beach, California, charming beach house with ocean and San Luis Bay views from windows and deck. Listen to the waves and watch the ever-changing sea. Close to the Beach, Avila Pier and the Avila Downtown area. The house sits to the south end of the ocean frontage area and looks out across the entire panorama of San Luis Bay with ocean views to the horizon, foothills and beach views.

Rental house is fully furnished and equipped with amenities, including wireless internet. The Living room has cable TV. Kitchen fully equipped with breakfast bar, large and small appliances, dishwasher added 01/2024, dishes, cookware. The lower level has entry from the carport parking, the primary bedroom with a king bed, and the laundry area. Upper level has the kitchen, living room, full bathroom, the second with a king bed & third bedroom with twin bunk beds, and the large deck with ocean views.

Designated parking for one vehicle.

This property is a gem. We loved the view and the central location. It was an easy drive (less than 15 minutes) to everything we wanted to see. The kitchen was fully equipped and clean. The custom wood work throughout the property was extremely well done. We would definitely stay again.

The house was in a great location and very clean. It is also set up well to accommodate families. There were just three of us adults but it could easily have accommodate more children. We had plenty of room on the deck to sit out and enjoy the fresh air. You get a view of the pier but there is a new house that blocked the ocean view. We still enjoyed the hummingbirds and the beautiful weather listening to the waves. Communication was good as well with the property manager.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cozy house was the perfect location for a visit to SLO. Easy access to the beach. Short drives to tourist spots. The house came equiped with everything we needed. However, I recommend they include a broom downstairs and a trash bin in every room.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect for what we needed. We had Jeff’s daughter with us and she had two boys. One was just a toddler, but the other had never seen bunk beds before. Bedtime was fun! The kitchen had adequate supplies, and the fridge worked great.The vacuum needs replaced. Wires are showing and it is clearly unsafe. The floors downstairs are in need of a good cleaning.

Good view

A little outdated but beds were comfortable and an excellent patio view. If you walk to town you better be in good shape to hike back up the hill. I would stay here again.

Worn and need of repairs

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was listed as "rustic charm"- rustic is one thing old, broken and worn out is another. Air conditioner didn't work, all "mini blinds were broken- windows didn't open- vinyl flooring was torn-and bar b que was worn and flamed as it burnt all our meals. There was electrical wiring all around with extension cords- a nightmare with 4 grandchildren. The vacuum had tape on the cord- patio chairs were broken- dressers were broken and not useable. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this property to ANYONE!! Only positive was the view and washer and dryer!

The deck was the place to be - and the sound of the ocean at night was the white noise of heaven. Simple accomodations were fine - and the space worked great for the six of us (though the bunk beds were tiny) - and one adult daughter slept in a cute bed above the stair! Best beach around and lovely town! Easy help, too, as the property manager responded quickly to a request for a needed item. Terrific experience all around.

It's a bit of a hike up the hill from the day on the beach, but the view makes it worth it. Renovation of house behind us had the workman clanging and yelling at 7am, which was not great for the sleeping grandchildren. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would rent it again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in Avila. Highly recommend a sailing trip with Mark at Slow Sailing. This home had a nice location but it really needs some loving touches by the owner. We were there under a rare heat wave in April and when we arrived the home was 95 degrees. Crazy hot. The home has no windows on the breeze side so it did not cool down enough to sleep until after 10 pm. Pretty sad to see your kids with bright red cheeks and crying that it is to hot to sleep. There was no fans in the home at all and no breeze.. the AC window unit was ancient, sounded like a machine gun going off and was unable to cool the home at all.. needs to be replaced pronto. The second day equally hot and miserable so we called and asked for any help. Owners dropped two stationary (not oscillating) fans which, while appreciated, were insanely loud when on so you could not be in the same room as them.. so not a big help in trying to cool the bedrooms down enough to sleep in. The living room is also in huge need of decent furniture. My petite sister sad down on the couch and thought it would break under her, simply not designed for a family to sit comfortably and chat. So, if you are looking for a less expensive great location home, this is the place. Oh, hopefully you do not have a larger car. Ours was blocked in several times by the neighbors so we constantly had to ask them to move so we could leave. What makes me sad is that if the owners invested just a small amount in a nicer couch, higher deck chairs so you can actually see over the railing and a few ceiling fans plus new window unit our stay would have been fabulous..

Great short get-a-way

It was perfect for a family of 6 with a wonderful deck to watch the sun come up and set over beautiful Avila Beach. There was a bar-b-que on the deck so we lived out there. The unit was clean and a little dated but that added to the charm The biggest inconvenience was having to drive to Pismo Beach to pick up and drop off keys. We would love to stay again soon!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a perfect spot to spend time in Avila Beach. The place is a very short walk to the beach and downtown. When not at the beach we spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the view. The house itself was clean and had everything we needed. Beds are comfortable. Downsides are: 1. need to do your own dishes-no dishwasher and 2. noise from the parking lot shared with the close-by neighbors. Retrieving the key from the prop management company instead of a lock box was also a minor inconvenience. Overall, we recommend and would stay here again.

Fourth of July Beach Trip

Everyone had a great time, the house was spacious and the patio deck was a great place to relax and play many games, it was definitely the family hangout. Thanks for a great experience, we will be back!!
