Welcome To The Best Catch In Key Largo On The Water and Private Pool

Our property on MM 103 is the best way to spend a quiet and relaxing time at our home away from home, our Best Catch... Quick commute to and from Miami. This home has a private pool, a 40 foot dock on a canal with a large turning basin and very near to Adams Cut. Wonderful screened in outdoor living area with a custom bar and pool table. Have a fun filled family day in the pool and bar-b-que under the Tiki Hut, take a kayak or bicycle ride or just enjoy the peaceful water views from the balcony. Spacious living area with 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. Sleeps 5-6 guests. Need to go up a flight of stairs to access the main house.

Wonderful time

Thank you for yet another wonderful month in Key Largo. We enjoyed the house very much, it is still the best house we have rented during our many years in the Keys. We hope to be able to stay here again.

Comfortable & relaxing

Our second visit to Best Catch was as enjoyable as our first. Great location - quiet neighborhood yet close to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We especially liked watching the manatees that visited.

Perfect house

This is indeed 'The Best Catch'! The house and surroundings look wonderful, the swimming pool and pool table were great to have. All communication with the owners were delightful, thank you! We have rented other houses and this is the one we enjoyed the most. We're looking forward to staying here next year.

Great vacation at Best Catch

Loved our stay at Best Catch. The main house upstairs was really comfortable, the kitchen had more than everything you needed. The sports room downstairs was great with wonderful pictures and memorabilia. Loved the pool and great outdoor shower! In addition, the house is located within a few miles either way of fun, on the water restaurants. Mario and Kathy are great hosts and answered any questions we had. Thankyou both of sharing your home with us.

The Best Catch really is a great catch

The location, house, deep water canal, dock, pool and all other amenities made our two month stay the vacation of a lifetime. When we arrived we found the house was better than the pictures, clean, and well appointed. The owners even had Christmas decorations out to help us enjoy our stay over the holidays. They were more than accommodating and started our stay with a short boat tour of the area. We can't say enough about this property. A+.... We hope to come back!

Comfortable Gem in Key Largo!

We enjoyed our stay during the month of January 2023 very much! The house was very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the screened-in downstairs, pool table and the in-ground pool. We used the propane grill during our entire stay. My husband chased the tarpon from the dock but only caught a triggerfish and a ladyfish. Manatees appeared in the canal every morning. Several great restaurants were within walking distance (lazy lobster, Alberto‘s, Fish House) - we walked every day 👍 Two grocery stores were nearby within driving distance. This was our second time is to stay a month in Key Largo. This location was perfect for us and we’d love to stay again in the future if our schedules align.

Beautiful

We loved our stay here. It exceeded our expectations. We swam in the pool, used the kayaks, loved the manatees, and enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table. In the area our family enjoyed chartering a fishing boat, snorkeling, Theater of the Sea, and Everglades National Park. The owners were super helpful and responsive to all of my questions. We would definitely stay here again.

A real 'best catch'!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Best Catch! The house is pleasant, clean and airy and in a friendly, quiet neighborhood that is conveniently close to supermarkets and restaurants. The property has numerous areas to enjoy the outdoors including a screened-in lower level. We have already booked for next year!

Lynette M. The beauty of the property is only overshadowed by the tremendous owners!

This is our second stay at Best Catch and we call it our Best Find. After hearing of the post Irma damage we had one thought, rent again for spring 2018 at Best Catch. We trusted that if the owners said the property survived that it would be perfect. Well we called and got word that it had weathered the storm. That was enough of a guarantee for us and we immediately booked. When I say the place was exactly how we left it a year earlier it was down to the flowers around the pool. Everything from a year earlier without so much as a water stain. The property is top notch,the location is fantastic, we even got to meet some of the neighbors this year and they were as friendly and helpful as anyone could hope. The pictures posted show everything you will find and are actual, up to date and accurately represent everything this property has to offer. And have I mentioned the fantastic owners. We’ve rented from quite a few people in the keys over the years and most have been good, some very good, but none have been this good. Immediate response, attention to detail and friendly beyond your wildest expectations, doesn’t come close to doing them justice. I wish I could give this listing 10stars and that still wouldn’t be enough

Lovely rental, very well equipped

Very much enjoyed our stay, the property was perfect for our family of 4 and had everything we needed. The pool was great and the boys enjoyed having their own pool table. Owners were very helpful and communicative. Property has everything you could want near by and whilst we weren't overly impressed with Key Largo (for us the real beauty of the Keys starts further down) the property was very good and made a great base.

Tolle Ferien

Wir hatten einen sehr unkomplizierten und tollen Aufenthalt hier für 1 Woche. Alles war wie beschrieben, sehr sauber, gefühlt wie ein einem richtigen Feriendomizil von Einheimischen. Nette Nachbarn inklusive. Tolle Gegend, viele Möglichkeiten auch zum Sport dank vorhandener Kajaks und Räder. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Fantastic family place in Key Largo off a quiet residential street

My husband and I brought our 10 yr old girl and 12 yr old boy to the Keys to learn to snorkel. The Best Catch has been a terrific place to stay. The house is so thoughtfully stocked that we literally had everything we need. Impressed by attention to detail, for example, there are two laundry baskets for clothes (one in ea. bedroom) to carry to the laundry room. We cooked quite a bit and they had everything we needed including a blender to make margaritas. The kids shared a room and bath which worked out great with the trundle bed. The pool is I am guessing ~ 24 *12 was the perfect size for a family volleyball game, marco polo and snorkeling practice. Kids also donned the life vests and paddled the kayaks around the canal right at the dock out back while we watched. There were a few fishing poles so they fished off the dock one evening. Used the propane grill a few times but lots of great local restaurants (went by recommendations Kathy/ Mario and all were winners). John Pennekamp is literally across the street where we went snorkeling. Swim with dolphins is only few miles away which we did as well. Chartered a boat out of Key Largo for half day of deep sea fishing (MissChief) and caught 17 mahi and 3 tuna. House is wonderful place to return to relax after day of ocean fun. TV in living room is large and plenty of seating as we watched a movie we brought on bluray player one evening. Pool table by downstairs bar was nice addition. Was nice to have small frig and ice maker by the bar on same level as the pool. We forgot beach towels and were excited to find them in the linen closet! We contacted owners once during our stay and they were so quick to respond. Would highly recommend this rental given great location and amenities!

A very pleasant week!

This property is everything the other 5-star reviewers say, and then some! Kathy and Mario are very nice people to deal with, and the deposit was refunded right away. the week was too windy to get out on a boat, but there was great fishing off their dock. Will come again!

Our stay here was wonderful and the home was beautiful

The home was beautiful and there was so much to do. One week was just not enough time. Loved the pool and all the fantastic seating areas. This was our honey moon and we decided to stay here rather than stay st an all inclusive resort. We made the best decision by staying in this home. Kathy and her husband were wonderful host and answers any questions we had quickly and completely. We can't wait to go back

Very nice property.

House and property were well kept, modern and clean. Everything was as described and pictured. Kitchen was well equipped and there was ample dock space. Easy access to blackwater sound. Only limiting factor is the width of the canal leading in and out. Only wide enough for one boat at a time in some spots, however it's a short ride and boat traffic never became an issue for us. Saw manatees and saltwater crocodile off the dock. Bring bug spray if you want to sit out at night. Easy access to bait and tackle at the Yellow bait shop. Kayaks and extra amenities were fantastic! Great place highly recommend.

Great place on key largo

This property is great. We had a great time and even had some Manatees the last couple of days. A mommy and her baby. This is a very clean house and the pool was also very nice. Caught some trigger fish in the canal.

Wonderful Location

Lovely home. Convenient to all.

Enjoyed a great week in early November. House had everything we needed and then some. Went to recommended restaurants and was not disappointed. So close to Pennecamp State Park where my husband and boys enjoyed scuba diving. People were all so nice everywhere we went. Highly recommend.

Peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Perfect location near to it all. The views surrounding the home, whether its a palm tree or the view of the water. Not to mention the amenities of having a private pool and outdoor living/bar area, which is great for entertaining.
