Located in Compass Point in the private gated community of Litchfield by the Sea, this home offers a wonderful and quiet location all while within walking distance to the beach. Featuring 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an open kitchen with dining and living area, and screened in porch.

On the first floor, guest will find one bedroom with a double and 2 twins as well as a full bath. In addition to the bedroom, there is a half bath, full size washer and dryer, and plenty of space to relax after a day on the golf course or at the beach.

The second floor of the home features two full baths and three bedrooms. The first bedroom features a king size bed, flat screen TV and private balcony. The second bedroom is perfect for kids with a twin bed and a day bed. The third bedroom features a queen bed and a twin with flat screen TV. This home will surely become a family favorite. Golfers welcome!

We enjoyed our time at your property. Location and rooms worked well for our family. Property was clean, however some of the furnishings in the great room could be updated. Otherwise very pleased.

We had 2 moms and 8 teenage girls in the house and we never once felt crowded!!! Loved the big porches and the open layout inside the home.

Beautiful community

It was a great beach house. We enjoyed family time in the porch, the short walk to the beach, and the pool. I would suggest better directions for the pool as we had to call for directions and then had to ask for directions when we arrived on site.

Rainy trip to Pawleys Island

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location to the beach. However, there was water in the AC room and was told it was being replaced after we left. Kitchen was unorganized, had to hunt to find pots and pans to use. Also, some of pans were not completely clean....we washed everything before using. Also, bugs/roaches were found on both floors. First floor could have been cleaned better....when you walk around in white socks and they turn black, the floor is not clean. Not good when you have small kids that are not walking yet. Even though it rained a lot, there were games on site to use. The sofas were nice but chairs were well used. Hard to get up out of.

Water in AC room....was told it was being replaced after we left. They were responsive to questions though. Was told we had a completely stocked kitchen however everything was unorganized. Had to hunt to find pots and pans. Also, there was no can opener; very inconvenient if you bought cans at the store. Bugs on both floors....not

It was great to have a close by pool and take a golf cart to the ocean. It had good outdoor space and an outside shower. The house is in need of updating some furnishing and the beds were not very comfortable, but the price of rent reflects that some TLC is needed. The property was clean and the landscaping nicely maintained

southern comfort

House was spacious and convenient to the beach. we had a golf cart and could access all of the amenities of this lovely resort. We loved the wraparound porch and view of the trees and appreciated the ice maker. Furniture is comfortable and we didn’t need to worry about children damaging anything. Beds were very comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed during a renovation

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was not ready for our stay. When we walked into the house, it was quite dirty, the refrigerator was in the middle of the kitchen and the hot water was turned off. The management company offered a refund on the "cleaning fee" but we did not receive it.

Roofers Working the Entire Weekend

Most inconsiderate property owners to schedule roofers while renting out their property. We could not use the outdoor space at all due to roofing debris, dirt, & falling nails nor could we park in the driveway due to the dumpster and port-o-potty that were there. We were there for a wedding & couldn’t even take pictures outside. Not to mention the sound of nail guns all weekend AND roofers up and down ladders right past the bathroom windows. The overall neighborhood was beautiful. This house? Not so much.

Spacious and cozy

The layout of rooms was great and the wrap around porch was amazing with a portion being screened and the rest with hammock and rockers to catch the breeze. The inside is aging, but clean and tastefully decorated. A little short on kitchen utensils, but met our needs. Loved the house and location ❤️

Last minute success

My family decided to find a last minute (3 weeks out) vacation rental. We were very pleased with this house. It is dated but comfortable. It sleeps a lot of people but the beds in rooms could be difficult for many couples. The beach access is about a 5 minute walk. Our favorite part was the extensive biking trails throughout Litchfield.

Great location. Needs some updating

The house was spacious and easily accommodated our family of 8. Its proximity to the beach was perfect. A very short walk. As other reviewers noted, the property is a bit dated. We used the pots and pans, and a few of them really need to be replaced. The air conditioning needs to be rebalanced, as it was working great upstairs, but couldn't get the downstairs below 74 degrees. It was a bit hot. There were remnants of some insects, and a couple of live spiders (two). The outside screened in porch and deck area could use a cleaning and/or a fresh coat of paint. Overall, it is 4 stars out of 5.

Relaxing and convenient

The rental company made our weekend getaway very easy. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with kitchenware, games, and towels. Great, convenient location. The pool is practically across the street. Nice neighborhood for a morning walk. Stores nearby. Excellent.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was a great size and great location. However, the property could use some updates. Fresh paint, updated stove, a hose that works, mattresses are worn. These are just some of the things that could be done. It would also be nice if the light switches had labels as it was a constant guessing game with so many switches. We did have an issue with an upstairs bathroom, but the property management team responded very promptly and took care of the situation. It was overall a good place in a great location that needs some TLC.

Fun week

We enjoyed our stay at Litchfield by the Sea very much! The house is in a great location in the resort near the beach and pool. The resort was well kept and the teens in our group especially loved going to the Starbucks. Shopping and restaurants were close by as well. The house itself could use some updating, but was clean and had what we needed for a nice beach vacation. Thank you!

Most homes we've rented at Litchfield in recent years had well-stocked kitchens. This one, not so much, but it worked fine. If you prefer a home with up-to-date accoutrements, you might prefer a different one, but it you're fine with a beachy feel, high ceilings, fans, lots of windows and porch space, then this one may suit you fine.

Huge! Easy walk to the beach

The only issue I had with the property was that we all wanted more time to spend there and enjoy the area. Super easy walk to the beach and easy access to any of the other swimming pools on the resort. The house itself is huge a d a great central place for a large group or family. Almost all the rooms have a private bath and plenty of bed space to keep your privacy and give everyone enough time to get ready in the evenings.

We just visited July 17-24th to this nice home. We had 8 of us and quite frankly it had enough room for at least 2 more adults comfortably. The home is in a great location within Litchfield By The Sea as our family has stayed within this resort for many decades. We never rented this home but the size was what we were looking for this year. Overall it has everything! Great size, has a nice overall layout, very spacious, close to the beach perfect. The decor-structure needs serious updating. We had a wonderful vacation. Big car port down below and nice room for golf carts. A Shower and an extra area with hose to wash your car or whatever. No matter where you stay, it is always a good idea to rent golf carts and perhaps beach umbrellas & chairs ahead of time to make it easy to enjoy the beach with ease. The resort is huge so don’t expect to get around easily on foot. Also, it so convenient to have your beach umbrellas and chairs set up everyday so you can just go and kick back & relax!!! The property Manager Suzanne was honest about the overall condition of the home and was excellent to communicate with prior to our arrival. We had no problems whatsoever during our stay . Of course our kids loved the layout and plenty of privacy….. my wife and I had plenty of our own space in the master bedroom… awesome! Great fun as always vacationing within the Litchfield By The Sea Resort.

Needs TLC

Sheets (need replacing) and some beds are very uncomfortable. Ice maker is broken. Kitchen sink leaks. Two of the bathtubs didn't drain properly. Needs a coat of paint in several rooms. A grill needs to be furnished. ( I rented one -knew ahead of time there wasn't one). Rented a golf cart which worked well to get to and from the beach. The floor plan of the house worked well for us. Just needs minor repairs and could use a little update.
