Simply spectacular

My parents and husband all enjoyed our stay at Villa Bobica. The view is quite spectacular, and the property overall was lovely. We hope to return soon and would recommend others to stay as well.

Lovely place

Perfect place for relaxation and to enjoy Split and around. Great house with an amazing view. Grgo really want you to have a pleasant stay, and everything is made for.

This was a stunning property that our family thoroughly enjoyed! It had beautiful views and so many different areas to enjoy a drink or the scenery. The functionality of two separate apartments in one villa is wonderful when sharing spaces with family. We loved playing cards on the outdoor terrace, enjoying coffee on the upstairs patio, and night caps by the pool. It's a property you don't want to leave. The hosts were very generous and kind. They prepared a crib for our baby and when I forgot euros in the night stand on departure, he arranged them to be sent to me. Above and beyond in all regards.

Outstanding villa with amazing view

Besides the stunning view on the bay of Trogir Grgo and his wife were the best hosts we could think of. Never had such a nice and easy experience renting a villa. Grgo gave us besides some fruits and wine from around the house a lot of tips what to do and see. Thank you for the great hospitality and we will come back, sure.... 😀

Fantastic view

The villa has a fantastic view and a great pool area. The terrace is great with an amazing grill. There is no dishwasher in the house, wihich would have been nice. From the house there are some very nice hiking trails up the mountain. The small cities along the coast nearby are very beautiful and has a fantastic atmosphere. The owner was very kind and fast in his respond. We had a very nice stay.

The most stunning view!

We had a lovely week in this amazing place. There was lots to do in the area but we would have been happy just sitting and gazing at the view, which was breathtaking! The house is split into two apartments, one more traditional than the other. This split worked well for us as my daughters are older and very happy to be separate from us, but I think more detail about the layout would be helpful for guests with younger families. The house is up a steep hill, so you need a decent car! Grgo and his wife are charming and helpful hosts. I would recommend this property with no hesitation. Thanks so much, Alison, Alan and girls

Horrific property

Getting into property is extremely difficult up very steep and winding hillside. There were so many documents that are required to be signed that are designed to protect the owner only. It is not disclosed that there is no air conditioning anywhere but the family room area. those air conditioners barely worked. We had to hit it to get it to work. The beds are incredibly uncomfortable no extra blankets and there are no fans. worst of all was a placement nailed to the wall hiding what looks like black mold oozing down the wall. Based upon all these things, we received a full refund for VRBO after only one night for this property as it was beyond unacceptable. This property should be removed from VRBO. I have sent pictures of the mold to Vrbo.

Horrific guests The access to the property is via a road that trucks pass by, these guests had problem finding their way and driving. The documents we give guests to sign, protects us from such guests. When the guests entered the villa, they inspected it in detail in accordance with House rules and Property handover form and signed these documents. By using the villa, they did not respect the signed documents. When leaving the villa, without the presence of the host, they left it unprotected, which is strictly forbidden in the signed documents. They did damage in the villa: they broke the sink in the bathroom and did not inform us, and they left the toilet bowl in the bathroom on the ground floor, which is particulary shameful. In our ad we offer AC only in living rooms. The guests did not know how to use remote controls AC or… We never offered fan in our ad. In the villa, we had prepared beds/bedding for twice persons as the guest had booked. We specially prepared blankets and bad covers that we left in the closet. The guests did not distinguish the place of connection to the chimney duct from mold. Guests is blackmailing us in communication and ask for come to an agreement regarding accommodation or they will leave a review based upon their experiences. We have evidence for all of the above. We do not recommend such guests to hosts. They should not use the Vrbo platform.

Geräumige Villa mit Wunderschönem Ausblick und klasse Pool!

Mit 9 Erwachsenen sind wir zur Grgos Villa gereist, um eine gute Zeit zu haben. Der Weg zum Haus ist abenteuerlich, aber man gewöhnt sich dran. Als wir ankamen, fanden wir ein sauberes Haus und Grundstück vor! Grgo, der freundliche Besitzer, zeigte und erklärte uns alles, was wir wissen mussten. Die Highlights für unsere Gruppe waren die schöne Aussicht, vor allem bei Nacht und der beleuchtete Pool, in dem wir viel Spaß hatten. Man kann von der Villa aus alles Recht einfach mit dem Auto oder Uber erreichen, bspw. die belebte Stadt Split (15min) oder einfach nur einen Supermarkt (5min). Abschließend kann ich dieses Inserat nur empfehlen. Für Freunde die zusammen eine gute Zeit verbringen wollen oder für einen Familienurlaub, ist es wirklich die Perfekte Location!

Wonderful holiday!

We spent one week in the villa, 3 families/3 generations, and it was perfect for this kind of holiday. We had plenty of space and loved to gather at the large terrace or at the pool. Grgo and his wife made sure that we had everything we needed and all was very nice and clean. A beautiful property with a stunning view of the bay. You will need a car for everything - shops, restaurants, beach etc. We missed having some things in walking distance. But all in all a wonderful stay and amazing hosts.

Great view

Hi! We stayed at villa Bobica in Kastel Kambelovac for 8 days at the beginning of August 2020. The villa is situated just 15 minutes drive from Split airport so it is very easy to get there. The house is situated on a hill, so you will need a car for all the trips (restaurants, beach, shopping and so on) The road is very steep but is ok with a usual rental car. The reward is a breathtaking view over Split, Trogir and the Dalmatian sea. The villa is spacious, there are two almost independent 2 rooms apartments, one on each floor. There is AC, but unfortunately in both apartments the AC is in the living room, where you don’t need it so much. There is no AC in the bedrooms, and we thought that that was a problem, especially in August. We strongly recommend that the owner installs AC or fans in all the bedrooms, because during some nights was difficult to sleep due to the heat. The villa has a very nice terrace on the lower flour with a nice barbecue and table tennis. There is also a very nice good sized pool with sun beds and amazing view. Unfortunately, this year there were a lot of wasps which made it almost impossible to use the pool during the day. We recommend the beach in Kastel Kambelovac with nice restaurants and not at all crowded. The owner of the villa, Grgo is very nice and friendly and makes a good wine! All together we recommend this villa, but hopefully something can be done about the AC and the wasps. Best regards, Dan Ioanes

Wonderful location and welcoming owner

We were a group of 10 young adults and just had a wonderful time in Grgos villa. The location of the villa is simply perfect. By car it is a short way to the beach or supermarket and you have a wonderful view over the entire city and the sea. The rooms were clean, the kitchen and everything else was perfectly equipped and thanks to the friendly and helpful owner we never lacked anything. Last but not least there is the absolutely amazing pool with even cooler lighting at night. We say thank you for a wonderful week of vacation and will definitely come back

Villa Bobica

My family and I had an enjoyable stay. Our party was my husband, my parents and my adult children. Villa is two separate apartments with two kitchens. We used downstairs most of the time, only sleeping upstairs . There were bats and balls to use with table tennis table, good quality sun beds and cushions for six people. The road up is steep and winding but we managed fine with a large nine seater van. Short drive from Airport, Trogir and Split. Plenty of supermarkets to choose from locally, Lidl probably our favourite. View stunning from patio and villa. Grgo was a good host who answered questions promptly. Croatia is a lovely place to visit.

Excellent holiday!

We spend 2 great weeks in the villa with our family. The villa is well equiped and the view from the house over the Split bay is beautifull. The villa is very spacious and the outside terrace has 2 large tables which easily fit 10 to 15 people. Also from the pool you overlook the villages at the coast and the bay. Spilt is a 15 minutes drive and grocery shops 5 minutes.
