Holiday Surf unit 414 is a beach retreat with two bedrooms and two baths and wonderful ocean views. This unit accommodates up to six guests with a King master bedroom and en suite bath, plus two twin beds in the guest bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The kitchen, dining, and living areas are designed for comfort and relaxation, with a 42" flat screen TV in living room surrounded by comfortable new sofas and surfer inspired decor. There are tile floors in the kitchen and bathrooms with carpeted bedrooms and living/dining area.

We welcome you to share in the experience of Gulf front views, white sandy beaches, spectacular sunrise and beachfront living in 414. Sit back, relax and Enjoy!

Don't forget all the wonderful amenities Holiday Surf has to offer - a great outdoor heated pool, Fitness room, Dry Sauna, plus Tennis courts and Shuffleboard with Free equipment rentals. did we mention - we are directly located on our very own Private, White Sand Gulf Beach. We have never been to Destin before this was the first time. This condo was just perfect, it was super cleaned n so nice. My family was really thrilled to have stayed here. Plus it wasn’t too far from the beach. We really enjoyed ourselves. We finally found our vacation for every year now. Thank you so much for having us!

Less than impressed

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This would be a great place for someone over the age of 60. Its dated, they close the pool at 10 pm, patrol like police around the pool. We were playing music on a cell phone on our balcony and someone came out and spot lighted us and said it was too loud. If you go to bed when the sun goes down, id recommend this place.

Not what we hoped for

Very outdated, numerous outlets didn't work, furniture was dirty and stained. Food and fingerprints in numerous places.

Destin getaway

We really enjoyed our trip to Destin and loved Holiday Surf. It was close to the beach, we had a perfect view from the balcony. It had a great pool and fun things for kids or adults to do. Everyone was so friendly too!!!!

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the stay very much ,however the unit we stayed in had issues.The coffee pot leak ed.,the stove lights did not work,and paint was coming off the cabinet doors. .The way that you have to get your chairs on the beach is discussing.If you have more than 2people you can get up front,no matter what time you got to the beach. .Other than those things,the people were nice and helpful and kind.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked 414 and enjoyed the access to the Gulf, being close to the local attractions and restaurants. The unit was clean and suited our needs. We had an unfortunate water outage for a repair to a different unit and it was handled professionally. Will definitely return to the Holiday Surf and Racquet Club.

Outdoor furniture very uncomfortable and old and I look forward to sitting outside so this was disappointing. Vent looks like there is mold coming out. The unit was clean and the beds weren’t too bad. The condo itself is nice and staff was friendly. The pool and beach area are nice.

Unit #414 Needs updated

We enjoyed Holiday Surf and Racquet Club but not the condo! The owner needs to update the condo before you rent it again. There was mold (I presume that's what it was) on the ceiling in the shower of the master bath. Kitchen so outdated that I had to place an item under the skillet handle to cook. ALL APPLIANCES are so outdated, that they do not work properly. Microwave has 3 buttons that don't work at all. Toaster oven does not toast bread on one side. Owner had all cupboards (Bathrooms and kitchen) coated and it is peeling off. DON'T BELIEVE THE PICTURES!

Great location but old condo.

The location and facility were great, and the people working at the front were kind and helpful. Only things that could be better are the bathrooms and grilling area. The two bedroom tewo bath that we stayed were very small with only one sink each. If you're staying with full 8 members, sharing bathroom is not an option.

Everything was great, property looked just like pictures.

Great experience. Only issue was key code wasnt working but front desk gave me a key. DVD player wasn't working. Everything else was fine. For an older property it was nice. I would update stove

Paradise in Destin

We really liked our stay at Holiday Surf and Racquet Club. Our condo was nice, the premises were great and the front desk staff was friendly. We used all the amenities: heated pool, exercise room, tennis courts, shuffle board court, washer and dryer, barbecue grills and of course the beautiful beach. We would definitely return.

Beautiful Views

The facility and condo were well kept and clean. All necessities needed were available in the condo. The views of the ocean from the room were beautiful. Staff members were always friendly and attentive with the exception for a rude security/ maintenance man. The only problem we had with the stay was we came in from dinner and our condo door was standing wide open and a maintenance man was in our condo. He stated it was an emergency he had to check the water and he had tried to make contact which wasn’t at all true he never contacted either cell number on file. Maintenance or not you shouldn’t be able to just let yourself into a room and the renter knows nothing of your entrance.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived for a late check in and had previously let them know we would be arriving late. The night security that checked us in seemed a bit put out having to take care of us. Upon entering the room, there was a lampshade off from one of the lamps and there was still some paperwork from the previous occupants laying on the kitchen counter. Please take note that we didn’t complain to the staff, we just put it all back together. The sliding door out to the balcony was extremely rusted, and difficult to move. I do understand that it is Florida (as we were told by staff), however the door could potentially cause some serious problems if not taken care of. I’m thankful for my family as I was unable to close the door myself. Again saying anything to staff gave me the impression we were inconveniencing them. I’m not sure the individual owners are aware that simple maintenance is going undone. On our next trip down we will definitely stay somewhere else.

Destin Vacation

We love the morning view of the gulf and sitting on the balcony having a cup of coffee. Access to the beach is very nice and due to the fact that my husband has difficulty walking, we look forward to the completion of the handicap access to the beach. We have reservations for next year and look forward to coming back.
