Our condo is located in the beautiful, well maintained La Jolla de Mismaloya condominium complex, which has a pool, two outdoor Jacuzzis, tennis court, gym, beach towels, and 24 hr security personnel.
Just steps away from the Mismaloya beach!

This condo has a Queen size bed and fully equipped kitchen. From the balcony you can see colorful fish swimming in the ocean, enjoy spectacular sunsets and see the ruins of the "Night of the Iguana" movie set.

Enjoy swimming, relaxing by the pool with a book and a margarita, playing tennis (we have rackets in the condo!), horseback riding, fishing from the rocks or the beach, a boat trip to Yelapa, the PV Zoo and Botanical Gardens, or take a bus ride to Puerto Vallarta to experience the sights, sounds, and restaurants along the waterfront.

Excellent location

This is an amazing location we have traveled here for 10 years and will continue for years to come. This condo could use a good master bed, though there was an air matress provided that worked just fine. You really cant beat this location :)

Sunset heaven!!

Had a great time at the condo and the pool/jacuzzi. Numerous places to eat close by and PV was within 20 minutes drive. Rented a car to explore the surrounding areas, went for a 3 hours drive south and saw alot of rural areas. Also went north 90 minutes saw awesome beaches and had a great lunch at a quant wife and husband runrestaurant

Great Owner/Manager

I've stayed at this condo development many times over the years and enjoy the location right above Mismaloya Bay. Unforeseen emergency repairs to the penthouse created noise so the owner was gracious and generous in refunding us part of our stay so we could move to new accommodations. I highly recommend staying in this lovely cute unit as the owner is so terrific she will give you great confidence. And, the staff at the development is terrific! The pool is amazing and the hot tub is truly hot - not just warm! Perfect!

Spectacular

Tis in Mismoloya was perfect. Nothing I needed for my 10 day stay was not provided. the property is in excellent condition and very convenient to the local buses ad taxis, so no car was needed. If you do rent a car there is plenty of parking. The air conditioning and ceiling fans worked great although I rarely needed the AC. We basically had the pool to ourselves (it was off season). The pool was always clean and inviting. It was a super plus to have laundry facilities available in the complex. Would I return?? You bet in a heartbeat. Thanks again Natalie for renting to us.

Nice cindo

This condo was well equipped and comfortable. All the condos at LaJolla have great views of the ocean. This one is on level 5 which is right where the lobby is and the road. There is road noise but it wasn’t terrible. My tow complaints would be there was no cupboard space to keep any food but the fridge is full size. Also, we only had ONE set towels for each of us. We asked for more towels and never got them. Housekeeping was only one time a week. there wasn’t cleaning supplies to clean our own sink or anything. Think housekeeping should be 2 x a week or please put cleaning supplies and more towels in the unit. Also, you should supply a clean, packaged sponge for kitchen use. The maid set out an old, used sponge! WiFi doesn’t work well in bedroom but good in living area and balcony. Make sure you eat at then Mismayolya Grill while you stay!

Perfect for our needs

We had a rough few months, so we’re looking for somewhere relaxing. We had been to Puerto Vallarta a few times, but not recently, and Mismaloya seemed small enough to avoid some of the traffic and tourist madness of PV. Natalia’s condo is on the 5th floor and as the pictures show, has a stunning view of the bay. The condo is well furnished and decorated and we particularly enjoyed the dozen or so Botero reproductions on the walls. The kitchen was adequate if your cooking requirements are simple. Fortunately the Mismaloya Grill is on site and we ended up eating there at least 3-4 times a week. Wednesday pizza night, Friday BBQ ribs, both excellent. The building is full of Canadian and American snowbirds who have obviously known each other for years, hence some of the pool rituals that have developed, but everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The staff were invariably cheerful and helpful. Mismaloya village itself is pretty dilapidated, but there are a couple of ok restaurants, a pharmacy, an Oxxo and Enrique’s grocery store, a real find for fresh fruit and veg. There is a bus stop across the highway which runs every 10 minutes or so for 10 pesos, a real bargain. Otherwise, most items that used to be cheap are mostly right up there with Canadian prices. All in all an excellent place to stay, with Natalia simply a wonderful, communicative host.

Kind and responsive host, very nice condo, wonderful location

This oceanfront condo is roomy, clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony is spectacular. The condo is on a high enough floor that you can keep the sliding doors open all night. This 4-building condo community is thoughtfully laid out and safe and it’s easy to get down to the ocean. I especially enjoyed the little alcove with 3 palapas, each with 2 chaise lounges, exclusively for condo guests and owners. Natalia the host went to great lengths to get a plumber in just a day after the kitchen faucet had an issue; it was replaced with an upgraded faucet. Near the end of my stay, I unexpectedly ended up in the hospital two nights. Natalia was extremely kind and said I could stay a few extra nights at no charge to recover before my flight home. I kept to my original return day but her compassionate generosity was very comforting. I met and befriended wonderful expat American and Canadian ladies who own condos there. I had an even more enjoyable stay because of their friendship, and they went above and beyond to be there for me when I had to go the hospital. If you like a relaxing vacation with the ocean at your feet, a wonderful restaurant next door and other outdoor restaurants, snorkel and fishing boats, kayak and SUP board rentals/excursions, a little grocery store and $500 peso/hour massage places a short walk away, this is a perfect place for you.

Great place to stay with wonderful views and location. 20 min bus ride to Puerto Vallarta if you want the business of the city. Only disappointment was the very firm bed!

This place is a gem!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Wish we were retired and could have stayed longer! The staff are wonderful!! Our bed was cozy and comfy, the view from the balcony! Picture perfect! And how do you describe how amazing the sunsets were over the bay! Magnificent!The condo is well equipped and we loved making our morning breakfast and afternoon cocktails steps away from the bay! Loved the Mismaloya Grill, Le Kliff, Jacolito's! Ask for Payo at the Coral beach bar restaurant....try the grilled fish Zarendeado style. Awesome! Payo will assist with fishing or other excursions! Thanks Natalia, your place is just marvelous!

Excellent condo! The view from the balcony is unsurpassed. The condo complex is well maintained.

Great location with an incredible view of the famous Playa Mismaloya. It is a short taxi or bus ride to all the excitement and action in Puerto Vallarta. It is also a very short walk to the beach. The condo unit is well equipped to make your stay very enjoyable. It has new living room furniture and a new fridge. The bedroom mattress was very comfortable for sleeping. Natalia is the best host anyone could ask for. She is very quick with her replies to your messages and very supportive with all your needs. THANK YOU NATALIA. We hope we will have the opportunity to enjoy your condo again in the future.

Wonderful place to stay

What a wonderful place to stay! The condominium unit was very well furnished and interesting decorated and really felt like a Mexican home, also well equipped for our daily cooking needs. The view from the balcony was even more expansive than the pictures and offered full view of all the boats and activities in the bay around Mismaloya as well as the daily sunset extravaganza. The large pool and expansive deck area are right on the edge of the water and we enjoyed swimming and lounging both during the day and evening. The condominium staff were are very pleasant and helpful, making us feel like another owner. The unit location is very handy, on the same level as the front desk and entry and a short walk to the elevator down to the pool area. We enjoyed being able to take the walkway down to the adjacent beach area, including the seating areas along the way, with a handy shower on the way back. The workout room was effectively well equipped and had a great view of the bay. The music from the nearby resort result was somewhat bothersome during the evening but seems to be part of the Mexican beach scene.

Nice location but unit requires major update

The complex is beautiful, well located and maintained. The staff is friendly, polite and efficient. Food, service and prices at the Mismaloya Grill are excellent. The owner Natalia was quick to respond. About the unit: all furniture, including the bed, except for one armchair in the living room, was very uncomfortable, the shower and sink in the bathroom constantly leaked and there were serious cleanliness issues. Although weekly cleaning was provided, the whole place would need a serious makeover and clean-up. Cupboards were cracked, dirty and paint peeling off. When I mentioned to the owner that there were issues with the unit, she right away offered to cancel and reimburse us without asking what was wrong, suggesting hat she had heard it before. She felt that she provided good accommodations for the price. Well, we had just terminated a 6 week stay in a beautiful, super clean condo with amazing views for the exact same price! We left as soon as we were able to secure a great place where we have stayed in the past, are still there and enjoying. About the internet: the owner may tell you that you have access in the unit, but not so. As the staff will tell you, access inside the units is very difficult and you can only access from the complex's common areas.

Very lovely condo with a gorgeous view

We loved our stay in the condo. It has everything we needed and balcony is the best! It was so nice to have breakfasts sitting on the balcony and enjoying the ocean view. Everything was very clean and service people were very friendly and helpful. The bus stop is just across from the condo and it comes every10 minutes so we could get to PV to do some groceries when we needed them. Very lovely place and I highly recommend it

Wow, what a great place to stay, the unit was very nice, the building and staff where excellent.

The unit was very comfortable and well organized with art work and furnishings that made me feel at home. The deck with its spectacular view of the water and all of its activity was a constant enjoyment. The pool which was a comfortable and spacious area to lounge also was large enough to allow us to swim laps in the morning. The gym area had a nice assortment of work out euquipment and was well maintained. We cooked a number of meals in the fully equiped kitchen and ate on the deck. I appreciated having a screen door option on the front door to allow the water breeze to flow through. The building staff were always friendly and helpful and available to answer questions. The restaurant which is part of the building served very good food and shared the water view and breeze. The location was a 20- 30 minute bus ride to the heart of Puerto Vallarta and 5 minutes from the boat hub of Boca Tomatlan. I appreciated having a later check out time to allow us to enjoy the last hours before flying back home. Overall an easy 5 star rating.

Amazing views

This condo was great for our vacation for two people. The view was absolutely incredible and I will definitely come back to Mismaloya as soon as possible. I fell in love with this complex and plan to retire here someday. It was that great! You can look off the deck and see fish swimming around in the ocean. The pool area was nice and the other people at the complex(a lot of them owners) were very welcoming and friendly. The onsite restaurant was great. Make sure you bring lots of cash if you want to eat at any of the restaurant in the area, as they don't take credit cards. I highly recommend getting groceries on the way so that you don't have to go back to town. You definitely will want to get groceries because there are not many options for eating out. If you want to go into Puerta Vallarta a lot, please know that it is about 1/2 hour cab ride. There is a tiny market in the village with a tiny market. I can't wait to go back.
