Your granite countertop kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking and dining equipment you need to prepare meals at home when you are not enjoying the fine restaurants that Playa del Carmen has to offer. As well, you will find modern stainless steel appliances including a fridge, stove, microwave and oven. If you would like to do laundry on your vacation there is a large laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer for your convenience.

With four large bedrooms, and plenty of living space, you can easily accommodate 12 family members on 3 king-sized beds, 2 full-sized beds and a queen sized sofa-bed. The king-size master bedroom features a large terrace with a stunning ocean view. Each bedroom has its own en-suite full bathroom and all the linens you will need. But once you get a glimpse of that turquoise water from those large bedroom windows or sundeck, you are going to want to move on outside.

Take a refreshing dip in the pool or linger awhile on the loungers. The pool is shared with our sister villa. Use the available gas grill, or just enjoy your morning coffee at the dining table under the shaded lanai and watch for hummingbirds among the palms.

A short walk will get you to the quiet white sand beaches of the Playacar community. You will find a boogie board or two in the house as well as towels and beach chairs / umbrellas, so pack a picnic lunch and head over to the best beach in the vicinity. If you can tear yourself away from the sound of the gentle waves, you will find so much more to do in this gated, secure community. In addition to being immediately adjacent to Playa del Carmen’s world-famous beach clubs, shopping and dining districts, and the inimitable 5th Avenue (known to locals as La Quinta), Playacar is home to its own collection of ancient Mayan Ruins, an aviary, golf and tennis, biking and walking paths, and its own shopping and dining opportunities.

In Mayan, Iich-Naj means “twin house” and this villa is the perfect companion to its next-door neighbor. If you have a large group, you can rent that villa (Jalach-Naj) as well for up to 20 guests, sharing the beautiful pool between the villas.
