3 br, 3 bath, with additional bunks in basement, toddler bed available if needed, washer and dryer available for use, onsite private boat ramp & peaceful cove, (4-5 foot water depth at end of pier), covered porch, sunroom, deck down by water, kayaks, canoe, additional bunks, close to dam and Goat Island, convenient to grocery stores & other amenities, 20 minute boat ride to Eaton Ferry bridge and The Pointe! Internet & cable available, additional refrigerator downstairs for food storage, ample parking in driveway and lot for boat trailers and vehicles.

Another amazing long weekend at Lake Gaston. This was our 3rd visit to the "Knee Deep" lake house, and the quiet cove and nearby Grandma's Island are always a blast. This lake house is very well stocked and thought out, with everything you could need to cook, entertain and enjoy the lake. We always enjoy floating, kayaking, and time with friends at this renal property!

Nice lake front property!

Older property but clean, comfortable and great location. We loved the dock and lake front, comfy beds and nice kitchen.

Great Friend's retreat on the lake!

We had an amazing weekend with friends at this property. The house was perfect for what we needed, the dock was perfect for the boat and hanging out. We will definitely be staying here again!

Long Weekend in Gaston

The house was fantastic. Great location on the water, plenty of space both inside and out and all the amenities needed for a great weekend on the lake. The boat house and dock area were especially great for our jet ski and to jump off and swim with the kids.

Very enjoyable

We had an another amazing stay!! This house has everything you can imagine to relax and play by the water!! The boat dock is amazing, it’s where we spent most of our time during our stay!! We look forward to enjoying this house again in the future.

A nice getaway

The reservation and check in was easy- Jennifer was a joy to work with. The house was as described in the listing: it was clean and had a wonderful view of the lake. The teens in our group appreciated use of the kayaks during our stay and everyone enjoyed sitting at the dock.

This house is awesome! It’s the whole package. The house is great, the yard and the covered dock are absolutely amazing! Perfect for kids of all ages. We have already booked for next year!!

Beautiful Lake House

What a great summer vacation right on beautiful Lake Gaston. The house was very clean and comfortable. Great access to get right on the boat and catch the sunset. We went down for family vacation with our children. We had a wonderful time and even got engaged on the boat at sunset. I would definitely recommended and will be back soon!

Family get away

The house was perfect for us. We loved all the water toys, we caught lots of fish from the dock. The beds were comfortable and the new living room furniture was a plus. Only draw back is that I would highly recommend putting screens on the sunroom windows so that room can be enjoyed.

Another Great Long Weekend at the Lake

This was our second visit to this great property, and it was just as fun as last time! It really is the perfect floorplan for multiple families to enjoy the home, and the dock is just fabulous. We loved the floating mat and multiple kayaks, and spent most daylight hours either in or on the water. Be sure to kayak over to one of the beaches on Grandma's Island for the sunset!

We enjoyed the view points offered by the property. It is priced appropriate for its accommodations.

Overall, GREAT. Minor things to consider would be to widen the entrance of driveway and remove a few trees. We had some issues getting boat in and turned around.

Wonderful Lake Gaston vacation

My family had such a great time at Knee Deep on Lake Gaston. The Lakehouse was so charming with lots of space. The views were amazing morning and night. The convenience of the deck was perfect. The home was very clean and there have been several updates made on the home. The property owners were very helpful and always very quick to reply to any questions. Strongly recommend! We hope to stay here again sometime.

Peaceful!

Overall it was a very nice week.the property overall is nice. We enjoyed ourselves ! Only complaint was , the housekeeper could have been a bit more through. The grass was getting long and it seemed to not have been prepped for summer outside. We did a little scrabbling and than it was fine!

Beautiful view of the lake in a quiet cove. Loved that the kids could safely swim and enjoy the floats and SUP in the cove. We all enjoyed the paddle board around the lake and countless hours on the lovely dock. The sitting area on dock was a great way to be outdoors during the many storms. Also enjoyed games on the large yard. The only neg feedback is that the double queen beds were extremely uncomfortable and the basement & bunks were more primitive that we anticipated. Overall good experience. Thank you

Wonderful week!

We had a wonderful week at Knee Deep. The house was clean and had plenty of space for our party of 6. The bedrooms were all comfortable and we appreciated that linens and bath towels were included. The basement is unfinished and not fancy but was great for extra space and we were glad to have the extra fridge and washer/dryer. The location of the home is perfect - shallow entry to the lake which was great for our young kids. We enjoyed spending time on the dock and the covered area with the couch and bar area with fridge. We loved the kayaks, paddleboard and canoe and had many "adventures" around the cove. The owners were very responsive and quick to help us a resolve a question we had while there. We would love to stay again!

Fishing trip

Worked out just fine for eight man fishing trip. Only complaint was the bottom floor refrigerator was not at all cold. That created a bit of a problem because all were committed to providing a meal for the group. All in all, a minor inconvenience. Ice and coolers solved issue.

Perfect for a long weekend with friends

We just got back from a perfect weekend at this wonderful vacation rental! This house is definitely getting added to my very short list of places we will rent again. It had such a fabulous dock area, complete with a fridge, sink, tv, sound system, couch and multiple seating areas. The covered dock areas were great for hiding out during the morning rain showers we had one of the days. The cove the house is located on was so calm and quite, and it was near uninhabited Grandma's Island, which was fun to explore. Plus the house itself had a wonderful sun porch and covered deck, 2 ping pong tables, air hockey and a well equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. With 2 adult kayaks, 2 kids kayaks, 2 sit top kayaks (small adult/teen size), a paddle board and large canoe, our group was all set for getting out on the water, and next time we may bring our boat to take advantage of the private boat launch. An A+ weekend escape all around, made even better by all of the amenities this house offers!

Guy's Weekend

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, kayaking to Grandma's Island, and hanging out by the fire pit. We loved that we could watch football on the dock and keep our beverages in the refrigerator instead of having to bring down coolers. The electrical system was a little confusing but the owner was very quick to respond and help us figure it out. Overall, we an amazing stay and would recommend it to others looking for a relaxing getaway.

Great house

This is our 3rd time staying at this house and we thoroughly enjoyed again. Plenty of room for our 3 families to spread out. They also provide kayaks, a canoe and other water toys. Love this house!

Great family vacation spot

If you enjoy spending most of your time in the water or on the dock this is the place for you! The kayaks canoe and floating mat were a hit with everyone, and being able to sit in the shade on the comfortable sofa and listen to music was a nice change of pace too.

Lake Memories

Coming back a second time felt almost like returning home. So many wonderful memories of a growing, delightful and appreciative granddaughter. She spent hours in the lake befriending the fish. We hope to return next year!

There is no where better to be able to get away to and relax .. . the boat ramp being onsite is convenient, there are porches, patios and a sunroom to enjoy the view of the lake in many areas of the home. The zero entry from shore to water is a great features for smaller children while the depth at the end of the dock is still great for swimming and floating! Come ready to relax & soak up the sun!
