Remodeled - Luxurious Direct Beachfront Somerset Condo-with Den sleeping area

The Somerset building is a luxury gated community and perfect for a beach vacation for families and couples. The property has 2 tennis courts, 2 outdoor pools, grilling areas and direct private beach access. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops.

Located at the south end of Crescent beach. this direct beachfront unit 607 with over 1800 sq ft of indoor and outdoor space has been completely remodeled in 2015. This is the largest two bedroom model in the building. New hurricane proof windows and doors installed in October 2017.

This unit (which sleeps a maximum of five people) features two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a den. The kitchen is fully equipped, with all new custom wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and a breakfast bar. The dining area and living room face the large gulf-front lanai, which is also accessible from the master bedroom. The entire unit features new wood-look tile flooring.

The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, and a large walk-in closet. The en-suite master bath has been completely redone with new tiling, large walk-in glass shower, double vanity and granite counter tops. The second bedroom has two extra long twin beds. The second bath has also been completely redone. Both bedrooms, the living area and den area are equipped with flat-screen TVs with HD cable. The den has a very comfortable queen pull out American Leather Sleeper Sofa and pocket doors which can be closed off for privacy/additional sleeping area, There is also an additional lanai off the second bedroom.

There is a washer and dryer in the unit, free High Speed WiFi and a telephone. A storage unit near the pool area with beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, beach cart and beach toys is also accessible.

Naples is just a 30-minute drive away with world class shopping and restaurants.

Another Great Stay!

We have just finished our third stay at this condo. As always, we really enjoyed our week! This condo is such a great place, and Michelle is a great host! We really enjoyed watching the sunset from the beautiful beachfront balcony each evening, and the sunrise from the balcony on the other end of the condo each morning. The back balcony is a special bonus to staying in this unit, as is the added space for the third bedroom/ flex space. This is a very unique and special floor planWe enjoyed being right on the beach and our walks early each morning, and our time on the beach each day.The Somerset building is extremely well maintained, the landscape is absolutely beautiful., and its location is perfect and close to everything on Marco Island. The unit itself is very clean and updated. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable, and the kitchen is perfect, complete with stainless appliances. The island is a great place for drinks and apps.In closing, it is always very difficult for us to leave this beautiful condo at the end of our stay. The good news is that we are booked for our fourth stay next April!

Great views - Great Location - Great Unit

My family has stayed at multiple retail properties at Marco Island. This was our first effort with a private Unit. If you are looking for live bands, loud music, and an overcrowded resort pool experience, this may not be for you. However, if you enjoy your family and friends, and are looking for simplicity at its finest, I would strongly recommend the Somerset.To begin, the premises were pristine. The new paint on the exterior was evident. The grounds were well manicured and maintained. The Unit itself was spacious, and accommodated the need for the extra room via the futon "suite" as we called it. It ended up being perfect for our 25 year old son. The kitchen was well appointed, although the coffee maker (big for my family) could probably be upgraded.Not everthing is going to be perfect. The pool areas, while there are 2, were not as large as you might expect at a resort. It really didn't matter to our family, as we were at the beach following early tennis everday (take advantage of the court and the pickle ball courts) and didn't leave the beach till we couldn't take the sun anymore. Also, you have to be mindful that you are not at a retail location, but rather a private residential building, with the type of restrictions you should expect.Michelle was a pleasure to deal with, as she was responsive to questions, had relevant instructions forwarded prior to arrival, and a handy reference in the Unit.Thank you!

Great Marco island property

We had a great time at this condo and on Marco Island. This condo is a very short walk to the beach and included beach chairs which were very convenient to grab on the way to the beach. It also has two heated pools which were fun for the kiddos. Highly recommend staying here if visiting Marco Island!! Good property for both family and couples.

Feb escape from snow

This unit was excellent for our abbreviated stay. It is spacious, clean, and neat. Spent many hours on the balcony enjoying the great weather and views of the Gulf of America. The kitchen has everything to take care of a few meals when you need to take a break from the restaurant scene. The owner was on top of any communications. Keys arrived two weeks prior to departure and the envelope made the return super simple on our way out. As a previous commenter mentioned; it would be helpful to update the arrival instructions about the availability of carts on the lower level to help with moving luggage and groceries from the car.

The view of the Gulf was magnificent

Somerset is exquisite. The viewā€¦omg. The beach area was excellent. The pool was great and the poolside loungers/chairs were extremely comfortable. The grounds were beautiful; holiday decorated!!! Locker near beach full of beach stuff in wagon. Shopping, restaurants near Somerset. Many water attractions too. This three generation family enjoyed it all!

This Is A Great Place!

This was our second stay at this great property and we have now booked a third stay for next spring. It is just a great place! It is very clean and very comfortable. We really enjoy having the ocean only steps away. Panoramic views from the ocean front balcony are awesome. This unit also has a second balcony overlooking the island which is also really nice to have. The building is extremely well maintained and the landscape is beautiful. We love staying here!

The Best of Marco!

A beautiful, very spacious condo, with everything you need to make your stay in Marco Island perfect! From the well-supplied kitchen to the super-comfy bed, everything was just right for my week-long stay. Very clean and comfortable. My only comment would be to add a paragraph to the arrival instructions about the availability of carts on the lower level to help schlep your luggage and groceries, etc. from the car.

Beautiful property + location

The property was exactly as described. Beautiful ocean front location, well-decorated and well-appointed condo, very spacious inside for our family of five (including three older teens). Loved the fully stocked kitchen and the full-size washer and dryer inside the unit. Access to the beach chairs and toys was an added bonus to enjoy the beautiful beach right out front. We loved walking to nearby restaurants and shops on the island. A beautiful home the owner's graciously share, with an easy check-in and check-out process, and great communication throughout the entire process. Loved it and would highly recommend.

We first visited Marco Island in mid 2014 and loved the relaxed environment and the beautiful beaches. We love that it never feels too crowded We had always wanted to own a beachfront getaway to escape the cold northeast winters and decided this was the perfect location. In late 2014 we returned to Marco and had the opportunity to purchase a unit in the Somerset. We loved the Somerset property and its location so we bought it. We come down a few times a year with our children when they are not in school to relax, and rent it out for others to enjoy the rest of the year.
