Nice Place

Overall it is a nice place to stay. Two things I would mention. The ad says there is a hot tub. Couldn't find it. Also, need to upgrade the modem. WiFi was marginal.

This property rented by Dave and Rebecca is simple yet graceful everything worked perfectly beds were comfortable setting is awesome the Palapa upstairs is perfect you could reach up and touch the stars at night my second time staying with them and I’ll definitely be back

Great place

We went to Los Barriles for a fishing tournament. We usually stay at a motel. This was much more clean and all around a better place. Close to the beach, but far enough away to be quiet. Nice pool and great internet.

This is a great property for the price!

My family stayed for a week. Rebecca and Dave were super helpful with all things with the unit but also with places to go and things to do. We also rented quads from them. The pool is a shared area. Each of the units has its own roof deck area. Rebecca also has powered juicers in each unit too, which are really nice for fresh squeezed juice for your morning or margaritas! There is green belt behind the units which is filled with birds in the morning. There is a 5 min drive to town so quads or a car helps get you around. We were able to decompress from our busy lives - mission accomplished!

Great home base 5 minutes drive from downtown Los Barriles

Rebecca and Dave’s place was perfect for our group of 5 adults! Three bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom, all comfortable beds and nice big showers (good water pressure to boot). Great communication with Rebecca, and super easy to rent their on-site quads (they will give you advice on easy trips to take to snorkel, visit a waterfall, etc). The kitchen was stocked just enough for making a few light meals and breakfast, but we mostly took advantage of the affordable and convenient restaurants in town. The pool was clean and we loved hanging out on the patio as well as on the rooftop deck (there’s a bbq, bar sink, and furniture up there). Air conditioning worked great, as well as the WiFi, washer and dryer. The four units on the property are close together, but we did not have any issue with noise or sharing the common areas; there is plenty of privacy and space. Safe neighborhood with gated driveway for your vehicle. There’s also a hotel close by with a great restaurant and bar that we frequented on nights that we didn’t want to drive into town. We’ll definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Los Barriles!

We had a great week.

We really enjoyed our time in Los Barriles and at Los BouganVillas. The accommodations were everything we expected. They had everything we needed. Rebecca and Dave were wonderful hosts. They were quick to reply and immediately addressed and fixed a couple of items that were not up to our standards. I would recommend this place.

very comfortable and safe

The villa was clean and very comfortable. We felt safe. The villa was not as close to the beach as we had hoped but it was fine. There is a nice hiking trail behind the house. The rooftop deck was awesome for yoga, grilling, etc.

Very nice place

Our trip was very last minute and this turned out to be a great place for us to start our extended stay in Los Barriles. I would love to rent this place again if we were travelling with other friends and/or family. To rent out the four units for a large group would be so fun! We enjoyed meeting our other neighbors around the great pool area.

Exactly what we were looking for

We(myself,my girlfriend, and our 3 year old son) stayed a week in one of the casita's that Dave and Rebecca own and could not have been more pleased. The pictures we saw on the internet prior to arrival did not do it justice. Having the pool right out our back door was great. The first question out of our sons mouth each morning was "Where's Missy?". Missy is the owners dog that has free run of the place and became a part of our family for the week. Renting the side by side ATV from Dave and Rebecca was convenient and Dave even strapped a children's car seat to the back seat for us. We took the ATV everywhere and anywhere we wanted to go, it was pretty awesome. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked, we loved having the automatic juicer great for fresh OJ in the morning and making Margaritas at night. Dave and Rebecca were wonderful hosts who by the end of the week felt more like family. I highly recommend staying with them if you are planning a trip to Los Barriles

Great place and people

The condo my daughter and I stayed in was roomy and well equipped.The location is perfect to access the beaches and restaurants, but still very private.The owners gave us snorkel gear and directed us to probably the best snorkeling we have ever experienced.. We're already planning our next fishing / snorkeling trip.

Awesome place with amazing hosts

Four friends and I stayed in one of Dave and Rebecca's units. The place is very nice, with a great pool, AC in every bedroom and access to their fleet of ATVs. We spent a lot of time in the afternoon hanging out and chatting with Dave and Rebecca. They are awesome people and bent over backwards to accommodate any of our requests. I would highly recommend staying at this place to anyone. Thanks again guys! -Ben

Best vacation ever

this was my favorite vacation.great place,great hosts.good advice about what and where to go.loved the quads.comes with your own dog and a great pool.wish I could have stayed a month.definitely going back.easy walk to the beach and fun ride into town on atvs.got stung by a bee and David drove into town for benydril .thanks so much.normas cooking was a big highlight.

It was all the reviews said it was!

I spent a great deal of time researching the right place for our stay & ended up choosing a stay with Dave & Rebecca. We have friends that stay in L. B. every year so we had to come visit. This was an ideal location for us as it was near everything, but the real treat was the fantastic value of the property. The Homes are well laid out & very private. The Pool area is great where their dog Missy will greet you & be a very vigilant life guard should you go swimming. You have everything you need, there but if you don't, Dave or Rebecca will get you just the right thing. An example of their hospitality: one day Dave & I were chatting & he said that they were going to Cabo & Costco and wanted to know if we needed anything. Well other than a case of wine, steaks, lunch meat, bread, cheese & Tequila there wasn't much & they gladly took their time to gather up those items for us. There is so much to do there you will stay very busy sightseeing, Whale watching exploring on Quads or just walking down the great beaches. I would highly recommend that you rent quads from Dave while you are there & is by far the best way to get around. Dave can also guide you on some fantastic day trips to some hidden gems off of the beaten path.The only down side to staying here is that you will become part of the family & have a hard time saying good bye, so we just said see you next year as we will be back for sure. 10 Star Vacation Rental!

Dave and Rebecca are awesome hosts let alone their casitas were perfect for us. From the time they picked us up at the airport until the time they dropped us off to fly home, we were in awe of their hospitality. They told us right from the start that if we wanted privacy it would be totally ours but if we wanted company they would be there too. We went on a couple of outings with them and had a blast. Anything we needed... they were always there and accommodating from an extra gas can, cooler or fishing rod. Their ATV's and Side by Side were perfect for exploring the beaches, arroyos, and cruising Los Barriles. We saw so much more of the area than we have if we had just rented a car. Besides having their ATV's on site, their pool turned out to be one of our favorites and covered too...to beat the summer sun ! They have it landscaped like an oasis in the middle of the desert. We played there almost every day during our stay. The recommendations Dave and Rebecca gave us from fishing to eating were all A+. With just two days of fishing, I caught 5 Roosterfish from 10 to 50+ pounds, 1 Yellowfin tuna 20lbs and small pargo and dorado fish. We had the Los Pescadores fishing hotel and restaurant cook and prepare our fish. It was a five star meal for less the 15 bucks. Thanks Dave for that tip. Yummmm ! Thanks Dave and Rebecca for making our 25th Anniversary a 10 Star vacation. Say hi to missy and give her a dog treat from Jer and Deb Bear
