Directly on one of the best beaches in the Southern part of the bay

This Beachfront/Oceanfront 82m2, one bedroom, one bath condo offers spectacular panoramic views of Banderas Bay. It is situated on the southern part of Puerto Vallarta town. The balcony overlooks the ocean where you can watch dolphins at play or whales passing by during winter season. The compound has two heated swimming pools plus one separate little pool for kids with its own small waterfall. The exquisitely maintained grounds and gardens are rich with tropical trees, plants and flowers. There is a turtle sanctuary onsite with baby turtle releases at sunset during hatching season. Reception will call everyone to let them know when this is happening.
There is a little supermarket in the compound next door for all your basic needs as well as a wonderful Palapa restaurant which you reach through the beach. Taxis are conveniently located and buses could not be easier, running every 10 minutes and will take you directly into town. This is a perfect location, away from the noise and the crowds but only 10 minutes from all the exciting restaurants, cafes, shops and galleries in the quaint town of Puerto Vallarta.
There is very friendly and helpful 24 hr. reception (English speaking) to help with your questions and needs as well as security every day, all year round. The condo is totally refurbished in a modern, casual style and equipped with WiFi, SmartTV, dishwasher as well as washer/dryer. The comfortable sofa in the living room can expand to a queen size bed.

Our host was very welcoming and helpful. The view from the patio was wonderful! We had everything we needed and would definitely recommend a stay at this condo. Very convenient, with a bus stop just behind the condo.

Beautiful Property with Amazing Views and Beach Access

We had a wonderful stay at Monika's condo at Playas Gemelas. The photos of the view do not do it justice - you have an unobstructed view of the Banderas Bay horizon, with Los Arcos to the South and the city's coastline in the distance to the north. We were there at Christmas time and saw whales in the water a few times, just a few hundred yards off the coast! The beach below is accessible to guests, and the property has two large swimming pools and plenty of pool chairs to relax and soak in the sun. You can even rent beach chairs, umbrellas, and anything else you might need for a day on the beach.The condo is well appointed, and has everything you will need for your stay. The full kitchen allows you to cook for yourself if you're so inclined, and there is a small convenience store in the condos next door if you need any essentials. We rented a car for our visit, and there was plenty of parking and 24/7 security throughout the property. If you opt for public transportation, there is a bus stop directly in front of the property with busses passing by every 10 minutes or so (I think). We enjoyed being away from the city, but still within a 15 minute drive to Puerto Vallarta and 10 minutes from some really great restaurants in Mismaloya. We had a very relaxing stay, and hope to stay here again in the future!

Paradise

The Condo was so nice and bright and clean. We had everything we needed and felt right at home.. but it was even better. We are having a hard time sleeping since we got home without being able to hear the waves. Love the balcony and the view most, we spent most of our time there if we weren’t on the beach. Definitely one of our favorite beaches and enjoy the restaurant next door. Monica and Luis are so nice and we plan to head back next year.

Home Away From Home

My wife and I have been lucky to stay in multiple rentals around the world. We always rate our stays on how much it feels like our own home. Our host Monika well exceeded our expectations. There wasn’t a single thing we would change or recommend. We highly recommend renting from Monika and we hope to be back next year.

Perfect paradise

The condo was great, comfortable, clean, perfect location. Crashing waves lulled us to sleep every night. Wonderful beach with a nice little restaurant next door. The only negative was difficulty using the TV for streaming. Positive was reading 3 books instead.

What a nice condo. Much nicer than photos. We have stayed in numerous units in this complex and this is one of the nicer units. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and sheets. Kitchen well stocked. AC available but wasn’t needed with doors opened and fans. The unit was clean and inviting. The complex sits on one of the nicer beaches in PV and also has 2 pools. The owner was always available to answer questions and would answer within a couple hours. Overall it was a great vacation and definitely would stay here again.

Amazing Views!

Monika's place was simply lovely. First of all, much more spacious than it looks in the pictures and just better in general. The complex itself seems older but in good condition and all the personnel is wonderful. The view from the unit is BREATHTAKING, period. We enjoyed going to bed and waking up to the sound of the waves and it was so relaxing. We enjoyed all our meals at the appartment on the beautiful balcony. The kitchen had absolutely everything you may need. There aren't a lot of stores or restaurants nearby with the exception of a small grocery store at the next development over. They also have a restaurant there, avarage food but great location and views again. Eventhough we enjoy staying right in town and being able to walk everywhere, we thought the views and being right on a beautiful beach more than made up for it. Just make sure to stock up on groceries when you get there. There is AC in the unit but we found the ocean breeze to be enough while we visited in March. Monika was lovely and she responded very quickly whenever we had a question. We'd definitely stay at her place again!

Lovely Week at Playa Gemelas

We spent a week at this wonderful property. If you’ve ever been to Playa Gemelas Condominios before, there are four buildings and this condo, in our opinion, is in the best building. The condo is well stocked in the kitchen, and you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas from the condo. Due to covid we cooked pretty much all meals at there and had groceries delivered right when we arrived but there is a small convenience store (cash and credit card) and a nice restaurant (cash only) just at the condos next door. The balcony and view was one of the best features - and while the unit came with air conditioning we never used it. You’ll hear waves crashing every night and the condo is in the perfect location never getting too hot from the sun. We even saw whales one more in the far off distance. The bus is easy (10 pesos!) to catch the bus into town and to Mismaloya to explore. In Mismaloya we rented a small boat to take us snorkeling at Los Arcos. For those that have not been to PV before - we keep coming back to this area because the water is a beautiful crystal blue green and easy to swim. You can snorkel by the rocks and see schools of fish. But this area is in a more remote, quiet relaxing area so if you’re looking for a large, loud party atmosphere this is not the place to go. Monika was extremely responsive and so very helpful. Would definitely recommend this condo and can’t wait to come back to visit!

Feels Like Home!

We just love it here...our third time in this condo after an number of years in another. It's a welcome respite of relaxation after a busy week in the Romantic Zone. We will be back next year! It was nice to meet you Monika & Luis...sorry the circumstances weren't better!

Another Wonderful Stay

This was our third stay in this condo and again had a very satisfying experience. With one bedroom, it's perfect for a couple. Large balcony overlooking a beautiful beach, quiet (except for waves continually breaking, which we love). Monika and Luis are very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Sunny vacation

The property is well cared for and clean. The restaurant nearby serves very good food and rinks with a very personable staff who speak some English. The grocery store is convenient, but small and limited. The beach is superb. The security here are ubiquitous and friendly.

Better than the photos!

This place is amazing! We enjoyed the apartment- had everything we needed. Plus it’s steps from the beach. The pictures don’t do it justice, the space was great. If we come back to PV we will try to stay here again. It’s about 15 mins from town, easy taxi ride over. The place is quiet during the night. Beach doesn’t get too crowded. The lobby will help reserve chairs and umbrellas. The little side restaurant is great for breakfast or an easy lunch. We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks Monika.

We had a wonderful time staying at Monika’s condo at playas Gemelas. We highly recommend it!

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo. The unit is very modern and lovely. The view of the ocean is fantastic and we saw humpback whales three times. We had a fun adventure and hired someone to take us to the waterfall at Quimixto and lunch at Las Animas at a restaurant called Los Conos. We ordered a seafood platter and it was the best lunch ever. This was our second time at Playas Gemelas and we really like that it is very quiet and mellow. The pools aren’t crowded and the beach is one of the best in Puerto Vallarta. We also had quite a few dinners at the restaurant next door at Girosol. It’s a very nice restaurant under a palapa right on the ocean. The service is great and they have live music three times per week during the high season. They will even deliver to you right on the beach. We highly recommend booking a stay - you will love it. We had a wonderful holiday at Monika’s condo in Playa Gemelas! The location is perfect, the beach is gorgeous, the condo is beautifully decorated and spotless, and the view from the patio is stunning!! The pool areas and the gardens are very well maintained. Another spectacular week at Playas Gemelas

We always stay in town for a week before heading down to Playas Gemelas for our second week of R&R. We were looking for a more updated condo for this trip and we are so happy to have found this unit...it was perfect for my husband and I and had everything that we could have asked for. The views are amazing from the balcony - the beach and pools are our happy place although it is easy to bus into town for a change of scene or south to Boca or Mismaloya. The tienda at the Girasol next door has a very good selection and we love the restaurant & staff there...hopefully most will be back when management changes hands in May. It was so hard to leave on the last day - we felt so at home. We will be back - thank you, Monika!

Beautiful condo, beautiful views, super friendly hosts and staff...what more could you want!

Monika was great at answering my questions and getting back to me in a timely manner, even though she was off travelling! The condo is exactly as shown and has all the conveniences of home - having a washer and dryer was a great option. The staff are so helpful and friendly and will go out of their way to help you with what you need. Alex was especially kind and helped us arrange an ATV tour - Thank you! The views are spectacular and the weather was perfect..... We saw lots of whales and got to watch skim board competitions each afternoon - the balcony is the perfect spot for morning coffee, to hang out and read, dine etc..... Our vacation could not have been better - Thank you Monika and Luis for sharing your home with us - it was wonderful - you certainly have your little piece of paradise!

After spending a week in the area, I don't think there could be a better place to stay.

Monika (owner) was easy to make reservations with, and very helpful with any questions I had before and after we arrived. The condo has everything that you need for an extended stay including a washer, dryer, kitchen and on-site parking. This condo was modern, clean and very nice. The view is spectacular day and night and literally a stone's throw from the water. There are also 2 heated pools, and the beach was very clean. I can't say enough good things about my experience, and I would highly recommend staying there.
