Water Island Villas is perfectly located on a ridge with water views in several directions with panoramic ocean, harbor, tropical, and beach views. Enjoy your screened lanai or sun deck and watch the cruise ships enter into Crown Bay Marina in the morning and leave at night, such an amazing sight. These cruise ships are so close it feels like you can almost touch them!

Taking a quiet walk with nature on this special little island will nurture your soul.

Water Island Villa has a classic island charm and includes a variety of amenities including king-sized beds, TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioned bedrooms, & we're Eco-Friendly. We offer various size floor plans of one and two bedrooms.

Water Island lies just south of Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas.

Have your taxi driver take you to Crown Bay Marina - Tickles Dockside Pub.
Ferry is located at the end of the dock.
While waiting for the ferry, you can enjoy a nice lunch or cocktail at Tickles and visit Gourmet Gallery to provision for your stay.
After boarding you will enjoy a 10 minute scenic ferry ride through Elephant Bay to get to Phillips Landing, the Water Island Ferry Dock.
We are the third property on the left from the Ferry Dock starting with the classic white pedestals.

Golf carts are available to rent through Rachel's Carts.

Amazing location on Water Island

It was a little confusing signing up as we thought we would get 2 bedrooms so we had a second when our daughter came. But it all got worked out! We loved it here. It is close to the ferry landing, the golf rentals and the beach. Kitchen is stocked at least enough for us to make basic meals. There were some ants but it is an island and they didnt bother me. Amazing view from our room to st thomas and it was beautiful. Loved it and would definitelt go back!.

We realize that we are on an island

The house was outdated and in dier need of repairs. Our foot could go through the porch and the back railing was unsafe. The house was clean just very very outdated. We were told it had air and then we we got there we realized it was the bed rooms, however our bedroom had just a screen so all the air that was actually cooled went out the screen. We had no breeze and could barely spend any time as a family in the center room because of the heat. We couldnt cook becasue cooking in the kitchen was unbearable. They need a grill someplace. The pillows need to be replaced, the ones in the bed are extremly old. I hate giving a review like this however, we left a day early and went to a 5 star hotel to have atleast one night in the USVI that wasn't so hot that we couldnt sleep. We are in hopes that the owners listen to our review and realizes that we truly want you to be successful.

Water Island Villas Review My husband and I stayed at the beginning of January 2017. I had read a few on line reviews of Water Island in general where this property was mentioned. I chose it blindly, hoping for the best, and can report that we were 100% satisfied! Jane contacted us in advance to make arrangements to meet us at the Water Island Ferry dock. Note to self (and other overpackers): You need very little for a vacation on Water Island! The tiny island is super-casual, and has very limited services/restaurants. Flip flops, bathing suits and cover-ups are the all you need in your carry on. However, the island has no grocery store, so you should also get some staples before you leave St. Thomas. After we met Jane, she drove us in a golf cart up the hill to the property. We were assigned to the “WOW Villa,” i.e. Casablance. I’ve stayed at many vacation rentals. I choose them over hotels for several reasons: price, location, extra space, kitchen facilities. An added bonus in some cases is that rental units sometimes have charming details and express the unique character of the location. Casablanca was the perfect example of this. Most spectacularly, the unit features a sweeping view of Crown Bay through a wall of windows, across a screened porch and vast patio. We sat on the patio daily for coffee and cocktails. The ceilings are vaulted with effective ceiling fans throughout. We never turned on the a/c. The doorways are all arched with brick detailing, and several walls are exposed natural rock, including the shower! As it turned out, my husband came down with a pretty rotten cold right after we arrived. He spent an entire day sleeping on the porch couch while I read on the patio with the hummingbirds. Being sick at home in Michigan in January would have been nothing short of horrible. As it was, he was able to breathe in the warm breezes and get some rest, and I was able to thoroughly enjoy my surroundings while he had some down time. What a beautiful place to convalesce! It was a small project to ferry over to the mainland for cold meds, but St. Thomas had everything we needed and more just steps from the Water Island ferry dock. Dave was in oj and tissues in no time! The property has a coffee maker and every basic kitchen tool needed. Full size fridge and stove. It provided beach towels and board games. This unit had one bedroom, but was giant and roomy. There was large walk in closet (no hangers) with a chan

Great location

The villa was just a short walk away from the beach. Great size for our family of 6. Could use some updating. Rent a golf cart to explore the island. Bring food from st Thomas over on the ferry as there are only two restaurants on the island. Dinghys, on the beach, is open most of the time. Heidis is open sometimes for breakfast or lunch. Food is good at both places. Wimart is expensive little grocery store but good for some random food items. Bill was very helpful and informative. We had a very enjoyable stay!

Not what we expected.

The property had a great view and was close to the beach. The beach was excellent. The unit needed a good cleaning and update, There was no TV or stereo as listed to come with the unit. The manager was nice and easy to deal with.

Best property and location on the Island!!!

As soon as I walked through the door I felt an amazing, great vibe and energy. I was surrounded by nature and edible fruits and veggies. You can smell the clean fresh ocean air. Waking up in the morning I heard all the beautiful birds chirping outside my window. The owner and on site property manager made me feel so welcome and helped accommodate with everything I needed. Very sweet, genuine people! Great feeling of being in the Caribbean and living the true island life experience. With a very short walk down the hill to Honeymoon Beach. The beach left me in AWE! Waters were crystal clear, you can snorkel with sea turtles and sting rays! There are two beach bars that offer really delicious food and authentic island drinks. We spent all week walking around barefoot. I am definitely coming back!! Best vacation by far!
