Great Beach Vacay!!

We had an Awesome trip to OIB!! Loved staying at the Iveys Beach House located right on the inlet! Spacious house with plenty of room for our party of 9!! We especially enjoyed the outside areas at the house! It was a Wonderful Week with our sweet family!!

Great location and perfect house

We really enjoyed our time here. The outdoor amenities were especially nice, including the stand up paddle board, kayaks, and TV. The layout was great for our group of 5 adults and 5 kids ages 6-13. We fished, paddled, cooked meals, played games, went to the beach and really enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend!

Beach Rental

The house was a perfect set up for entertaining outside. The bar area with the TV made being outside fun. The breeze was perfect even in 95 degree weather. The dock area was perfect for our small boat.

Relaxing getaway

Property was as described! Loads of items available for use such as kayaks, paddleboard, bikes, cornhole and foosball table! Plenty of room for all of us both inside and outside. Owner was prompt in answering questions. We would definitely stay there again!

Ideal beach stay!

The location and amenities provided with this home were outstanding! The beds were comfortable and the home felt inviting and spacious with the use of so much outdoor space. Our group contained a wide range of ages and everyone found something to enjoy. Communication with the homeowner was timely and easy. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great stay!

The house was just as listed. Great location, clean, and a short walk to the beach. So many perks of this rental such as beach chairs, bikes, floats, and kayaks there for you to use. Those definitely added to the rental. Quick and easy communication with the owner. Would definitely stay again.

Great family vacation!

Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the home, the kayaks and paddleboard with the dock and canal access, lots of beach cruiser bikes, plenty of outside seating on ground level for hanging out with family and the cornhole yard game was so nice to have. The home was very nicely decorated(with a gorgeous new master bathroom) and also very clean. The location on the canal was great, with a very short walk to the beach access. We appreciate the owners opening up their home, for our perfect family vacation!

Nice canal front home

Nice beach home on the canal. Great location for fishing and kayaking. Was extra nice to have kayaks & paddle board provided. Pleasant outdoor seating area under home. Even though homes are close all around, we enjoyed a very quiet & peaceful week! Owners were responsive to all communications before & during stay.

Great OIB canal home!

We enjoyed this home on a canal. It was convenient to fish and swim at the dock, and the beach was only about a 5 minute walk. The property was clean, and the owners were very responsive and accommodating. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space for our group of 5 adults and 2 children. OIB continues to be one of our favorite Carolina beaches. We would return!

Family reunion

From the moment of booking this home I was very impressed with the quick response. Richard was very helpful and informative. This was my first experience with Renting a home. The check in was seamless. The home was everything and more . Place was clean and inviting . The amenities were many and truly didn’t have to bring much from home . We had great weather and the family had the best time! Mission accomplished!

Perfect house and vacation!!

This is exactly the home you have been waiting for! We can’t say enough about our wonderful week. The owners provide a lot of extras that truly make it special for you- kayaks, bikes, paddle board- and the home is beautifully updated and so comfortable. The evening sunsets were amazing from the porch! Being on the canal was perfect as we brought our small boat and enjoyed rides in the intercoastal and even spotted dolphin on 2 days! This is also a fabulous street at ocean isle and steps from the beach access on Newport- just a perfect location. We will definitely rent this one again and the owners could not have been nicer to deal with. My husband and I grew up coming to Ocean Isle, and we are definitely coming back to this house soon! Don’t miss the community market with various vendors, Sunset Slush, and the live outdoor music on Friday nights. Special island and special home! Thank you!

Canal Life

We had a great time swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding in the canal! The house was very convenient to everything.

Loved the canal!

Enjoyed fishing on the canal. The access to the beach was close. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable. We had a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Beautiful Property

Had a fabulous time at this property. There were 9 family members (8 adult, 1 child). 5 minute walk to the beach (parking is also available if you drive down to unload). We enjoyed kayaks on the canal, walking Ocean Isle and local shopping. If you like boutiques instead of souvenir shops, there are several nice ones. Plenty of seating, indoor and outdoor. Lots of extras with this rental as noted in their summary. Tons of positives. The 2 negatives I will mention: tiny hibachi grill (the other grill was rusted/broken and also small), Could have used more pots/pans/skillets for our larger group.

Perfect for a family getaway!

4 adults and 2 kids (2&4 years old) enjoyed this property to its fullest! We walked to the beach each morning with our loaded wagons and spent the kids nap times at this home on the back deck and the dock! This house has everything you need to have a great vacation!

First Time to OIB

A beach cottage and experience I will always remember fondly! Not only was this cottage clean and beautifully decorated, the owner shared many extra amenities for us to enjoy. We canoed due to having two canoes and a stand up paddle board available. We biked because several beach bikes were left for us to enjoy. We fished on the dock on the canal right from the backyard. The available dock made it easy to rent and park a pontoon for the week. And, to top it all off, the outdoor living spaces on the deck and under the house made it easy to spread out. The beach was a short three blocks away and we both walked and drove a golf cart to and from. After arriving home from the beach, an outdoor shower on the patio made it easy to rinse the sand off before going inside. Truly a wonderful beach vacation!

Great family vacation

We had a great stay on Ocean Isle Beach. We typically stay ocean front but decided to change it up this year. We could not have found a better place! The canal was great. The amenities that come with this house are amazing! Kayaks, stand-up paddle-board, rafts, yard games, the kids were always busy and having fun. It is a short couple of blocks to public beach access. GREAT VACATION! Thanks
