SoundFront Water Lovers Paradise, front yard kiting, Ocean beach access

This is our personal home and retreat. The house was built to lend itself to our hobbies and lifestyle. We are family oriented, child & adult friendly and love the water. There are beautiful water views from every room in the house.
We are an adventurous family and found this property on one of our Kite Boarding/family trips to the OBX. My husband literally found the lot from the water for its sandy beach launch. The house is built with a lawn area at the beginning of our pier for easy set up and take down of all water and wind gear. This area is set up with a hose and a hot/cold water outdoor shower. The front yard is well suited for children to play, with a half basketball court, long driveway with a private culde-sac, sand box and beautiful old oak trees for shaded play areas. There are beautiful swings located at the sound side ground level, hot tub and eating area on the sound side main deck, large teak bench on the driveway side (for the person chilling out while watching the children) and large teak barstools on the sound side upper deck (located right outside of the "sunset bar" ping pong room).
The main Sound side hot tub is a must at sunset no matter what time of year you are there!

With wall to wall wood floors, water views, an open floor layout, gorgeous teak island and granite counter top kitchen, this house feels peaceful from the moment you walk in. There are 3 bedrooms; the master with a California king, the guest bedroom with a queen and the "bunk" room with 2 pyramid bunk beds (full size bottom & twin tops). The house is located on a private Culde-sac with only one other home, but is part of the South Beach development (across hwy 12) with full private beach access. It is a 5 minute walk but there are also parking spots and a boardwalk over the dunes to the beach. Ride your bike over in the morning to watch the sunrise and check on the surf. The Park service offers permits for 4WD beach access and bonfires. A quarter mile from the home is the Salvo day use area with 2 beaches and a great place for children to ride bikes or runners to complete an additional loop.
For water sports our sandy bottom launch allows for great family fun and easy access to premier flat shallow water.

This sound front home offers a sandy bottom entrance into the sound. Great for family play time, launching your kites, SUPs or Kayaks, fishing, setting crab traps...etc.
