Bring your binoculars. Every species of migratory bird in this part of the country will fly right past your private backyard. Have a retreat with friends or invite the kids and their pets and enjoy the best of Charleston, SC. Only 5 minutes from access to Kiawah and Seabrook Island gateways and only 10 minutes to the city. You can crab, shrimp, kayak, canoe or boat at your pleasure and use your own private access to the most beautiful Wallace River. 30 minutes to either Edisto or Folly beaches gives you the absolute best of both worlds. Coming in 2023-Little Buck Island. A small island for exploring or walking Fido or just anyway you choose to experience beautiful views and wildlife and marsh life!

Little Blue is located about 30 minutes from downtown Charleston, but an easy drive and a great place to stay if you want some green space to enjoy with your morning coffee. The home is very clean, comfortably furnished, and the host clearly has hospitality in mind with the amenities provided. The beds are comfortable and the water pressure in the shower is great. When you first pull in the driveway you may question your rental choice because the home is on a very busy road, but rest assured that isn’t an issue at all. We had no problem getting in or out of the driveway. I was also worried about road noise inside the home but found I was totally unbothered. Our stay was comfortable and we’d definitely book this location again.

Low Country Life

We spent most of our time outside enjoying the views…..birding….and crabbing. The house is well stocked, comfy and perfect for a those wanting down time on the marshes as well as close to beaches and Charleston.

This is a nice home with a beautiful view of the marshes. The draw back is the busy road out front and we didn't find a place to walk around.

Great House & Great Location

The house was located in a great location! Within 45 minutes you could access the airport, downtown Charleston, Kiawah Island, Edisto Island, Folly Beach, etc. The provided beach chairs and beach towels were an extra bonus! The house was fully stocked with everything that you could possibly need. The views from the backyard, especially at sunset were gorgeous. Buckey was an amazing host and communicated quickly from the inital rental request up until checkout. I would definitely recommend this rental if you're visiting the Charleston area!

Cute, quiet little blue house.

Looking for swanky? Nope. Looking for luxury? Nope. Looking for cozy? Yes! Looking for clean, quirky, definitely a loved home? Yes!! This is one of my favorite places I’ve stayed. Quiet and a surprisingly beautiful location!! The creek views are beautiful. The back patio is perfect for hanging out and enjoying your family

Beautiful views

Great stay at Birds of Flight. If you enjoy a beautiful view, birdwatching and sunsets you will love this location. Property owner is very accommodating and responsive. Has provided everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Just bring your suitcase and enjoy. Quick drive to Charleston and Mount Pleasant. On a busy road which is a tiny bit noisy but so worth the cost over a hotel. Comfy and cozy with all the comforts of home for a family get a way.

Great rental!

This little house was perfect for my family! It was close to everything we needed as well as the family we were visiting! Perfect amount of space inside and out! The house was very clean and the host communicated very well! The view from the back of the house was a great addition; absolutely beautiful! We can’t wait to stay here again!

This is where you want to stay in Ravenel

Amazing house with everything you need for a perfect stay. The outdoor area is stunning, offering breathtaking views, a peaceful atmosphere, plenty of seating, and a lovely firepit with wood provided.The bathroom was beautifully designed and well-equipped, even offering toothbrushes and other essentials. The owner was extremely accommodating and welcoming, allowing us to check in early when possible and answering all of our questions promptly.Both the kitchen and living room were comfortable and practical, making our stay even more enjoyable. We stayed with friends, and everyone absolutely loved it.The only minor issue was that the mattresses on all the beds were a bit noisy when moving around, but they were still comfortable for sleeping.I will definitely book this place again when I return to Ravenel!

Super Cute Blue House

We loved the little house. It had everything we needed and was super clean. We were a little surprised to see the house was right off the main road. We were also surprised at the possibility of alligators on the property. Yes, we know they are in SC, we were just surprised. All in all it was a wonderful stay and location. And the host is amazing.

Relaxing and wonderful place

My husband and I celebrated our 17th year Anniversary at the Little Blue House. The views in the back are beautiful. It was a very peaceful, relaxing home. The house is very clean and nicely decorated. Check in was easy, and communication with the host, Bucky, was very good. The house is stocked with everything you need for cooking and preparing meals. Also, the fridge was stocked with beverages, including bottled water. We enjoyed other extra touches, the large jar of candy, and the toothbrushes with toothpaste. The house is in a good location. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay at this house again if we return to Charleston.

The perfect getaway!

We wanted to see Charleston but didn’t want to pay $200+ a night to stay downtown…this place was absolutely perfect. A short drive to everything you want to see. We throughly enjoyed the patio and the backyard view. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils, etc that we needed to cook a big breakfast every morning. The bathroom was stocked with towels. The WiFi worked great. I can’t think of a thing that wasn’t perfect!

Loved this cottage. So peaceful. Host goes out of the way to provide little things that mean a lot. Location was perfect for us to attend a wedding on John’s Island.

Spring Break Get Away

We stayed two nights. It was a comfortable stay. Had it not been raining, we would have taken advantage of the nice out door patio and fire pit. Parking was plenty and easy.

Great stay

We came to keep close to the coast and take our boat out. Parking a medium/large boat is doable, but it will take some maneuvering. House is waterside, but only usable for high-tide kayaking (normal for this area). Great outdoor location and fit for short or long stays. Very hospitable host and welcoming atmosphere. Quiet despite proximity to highway. Overall an excellent spot to stay and a short drive from multiple boat ramps. Looking forward to returning soon! One of the best Vrbos yet.
