The only drawback to staying there was no air conditioning and dryer definitely needed experienced maintenance. It was very hard to sleep with no air conditioning even with fans going. Overall that property and the area was superb.

Excellent pool. Good walking path nearby. Close to groceries and short drive to Hanalei with lots of restaurants. Nice amenities. Fans in all rooms to help airflow. Enjoyed watching the chickens, nene and cardinals every morning.

Perfect place for a fun and easy going stay on this amazing Island. Great beaches and dinners are only ever a few minutes away. We will stay at this property again without question.

Wonderful stay!

Great location for us, very quiet and easy access to the walking path. Property is well taken care of and had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessities.

Princeville

The only downside was the constant crowing of roosters at the crack of dawn. There was no way to sleep in. They even came by in the afternoon when you thought you might take a quick nap. The condo was lovely.

Relaxing and Comfortable

Amazing anniversary

Amazing condo it was beautifully decorated. It was nice to come back from the beaches and activities and have such a wonderful condo. It had a beautiful view, great pool and barbecue area. Great service from the owners, easy check in and great information on how to arrive and get into the condo.

Fabulous

This well-appointed, clean and spacious place was just a short walk away from beautiful sunset views, and within walking distance of the Saturday Market. Everything was in working order, and the beds were quite comfortable. I enjoyed the pool a lot. Great place, I would certainly return!

Peaceful Princeville Property

We had a fantastic experience at this condo in Princeville. It allowed us to access all of the great places along the north shore of Kaua'i. The unit was well furnished and we'll definitely look to stay there again.

Princeville Kauai Ali Kai resort

Nice place, clean and comfortable. Reasonably well equipped kitchen. Nice swimming pool a short walk away. The surprise was the gift left for our arrival: the box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts. We highly recommend this resort located in a popular area, close to all amenities!!

Hawaiian Holiday Perfection

We had a very comfortable stay. We have a family of 4 and it had 2 bedrooms which fit us all very comfortably. Everything was easy to use and find in the kitchen. It was a drive to Hanalei Bay which as good to be away from the crowds in the town. Short drive or walk to the shops in Princeville. We will definitely stay again.

Amazing location.

The location was great to explore throughout the North Shore. We had my 12 and 17 daughters, everyone enjoyed the accommodations and the pool. It is true that there is no A/C, but this is pretty typical in Kauai. We even hiked down to the turtle cave on the resort. Wow!

Nice place to stay in Princeville.

My parents, husband and two-year-old daughter recently stayed at this remodeled condo from July 20 to July 26th, 2017. Here are some things that might be helpful to know (which may have already been mentioned in other's previous comments)- My mom LOVED the master bathroom shower. She thought it was the best shower in the whole world. The washing machine is incredibly loud and sounds like an airplane taking off. I honestly thought that the washer was going to lift off and take the condo with it. So, all that to say, do your wash in the day time, not when anyone is trying to sleep. FYI: The dryer is not as loud. The ocean views are nice and you can walk down to the cliffs and look down at the water below, but there are no beaches directly outside of the condo. You do need to drive to a beach, but there are lovely beaches nearby that are not too far away. If you happen to get neighbors upstairs who like to stay up late and chat and laugh during movies, I would say to invest in some good earplugs as you will hear everything. My parents could not hear them from the Master bedroom, but I could hear everything from the guest bedroom. We had to keep the windows open (another reason why we heard everything) due to the fact that the condo does not have A/C. However, the fans were effective if the Trade winds are blowing through the open windows, so not having A/C was not really an issue. The pool that is right outside the backdoor is for the use of the Alli Kai I guests/residents. The pool that is for your use (Alli Kai II) is down the path and to the left. It has a lovely kiddie pool, a hot tub and a leisure pool. They had a lot of activities listed throughout the week on their whiteboard, so be sure to check it out and see if there are any activities that might interest you. In the condo's hall closet we found two pool noodles, 1 small (personal size) hard sided cooler, 1 half gallon portable water cooler, some small sand toys, and 4 beach towels (6 towels would be ideal as I had to share with my daughter). The condo does have two beach chairs and 1 umbrella stroller. The kitchen has the bare essentials for cooking. There is one potholder, another one would be nice. In summary, this is a very nice place to stay. Enjoy your time in Kauai!

Stay at the Alii Kai

Overall a very pleasant experience, there is some construction noise from the condo remodel in a near by unit but if your out during the day then it’s no issue

Great Stay!

Top to bottom staying here was a great experience! Condo was comfortable and clean. Owners/Managers were very responsive to our requests. 20 minutes to just about everything on the north shore. Highly recommend!

Relaxing and beautiful!

Our stay at Ali’i Kai was wonderful. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has great equipment for cooking, the bathrooms have great showers, the location is lovely. We utilized the grill at the pool and that was great. The washer / dryer is a must for daily swimmers so we were very happy to have that. The breeze through the windows was sufficient to cool us down, no need for air conditioning. Checking in and parking were easy.
