HILTON HEAD ISLAND. Enjoy marina style vacationing in this one bedroom penthouse villa in Harbourside. Located in Shelter Cove Harbour, Harbourside offers a pool, seasonal outdoor entertainment and unbeatable views. This penthouse style unit has two floors, with a spiral staircase leading upstairs. On the first floor you will find an updated kitchen with all the amenities and beautiful views of the harbour. The dining area offers a glass top table for 4. The living room has a sleeper sofa, loveseat, large flat screen TV, DVD. There is a sliding glass door leading out to a large wrap around deck with a table and four chairs. The master bedroom is up a spiral staircase with a king bed, TV and a private bath with a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower.

**Free shuttle service through Palmetto Dunes Buggy available April through September.**
*One parking pass per reservation at Harbourside*

Perfect centralized location!

We were right in the middle of everything that we wanted to do. We used to dock just outside the window of our condo which made it extra special.

Best Value on Hilton Head

I have been coming to Hilton Head for vacations since 1976. I have stayed in numerous Hilton Head resorts on both the ocean and intra-coastal side. This was my fourth stay at Shelter Cove but my first time staying at this specific unit. And without a doubt I can say this unit is the best value I have experienced during all of my visits to Hilton Head over the past 47 years. The unit was spotless upon check in. The check in was smooth as silk. Parking was convenient for the whole stay. Although with all the amenities surrounding Shelter Cove our trips were mainly to the golf course Our stay was for two weeks. The unit was more than adequately equipped and everything worked as it should-including the ICE MAKER which has to be a first for me. The units location and view were just exceptional. We cooked in for about half of the nights and If I can find a way I will post/attach a picture of our nightly view where we ate dinner from our covered outdoor 3rd floor terrace. When you combine all the above with the very reasonable cost for this rental--that is why I give it the "best value" tag. Or to use some lingo from my 30 year career with NASA--this unit definitely has "the right stuff" !! That is why upon returning home I have booked the same unit for 3 weeks next February.

Won’t go back

This condo is in a great location with a wonderful view of the marina but……. It is in need of an update ASAP. Paint coming off baseboards, no window screens to allow for fresh air. The kitchen windows have green moss grown between the glass. The spiral staircase is very challenging, especially for older people and the worse part was the TV’s never worked.. always said there was no signal. Cable company told us there was plenty of signal yet TV didn’t work..

We enjoyed the property! Sort of expected a dated unit, and it was, but the location is excellent! The Social Bakery and Scott’s Seafood, and the 180 degree view make up for the negatives!

Fantastic location!

The location is spot on- middle of the island and ease of access to everything. We are dinner most nights watching the sunset go down over the marina. Condo is a little dated- don’t expect the most modern decor. But it was comfortable and easy to access. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect in so many ways! We loved our stay. The harbor views are what keeps us coming back! Add to that, the convenience of shops and restaurants in walking distance make this a wonderful place to stay. The condo is very comfortable and well maintained! Beautiful!

Absolutely love this location. We’ve been going to Shelter Cove for 6 years. This condo was great. We’ve stayed in different units and this was the best. Once we squared away the TVs we were good. If there’s any complaints it would be to have the cleaners pay more attention to the dining room chair pads.

When we arrived at unit there were still dishes in dish washer, trash had not been taken out from under kitchen sink. The TV didn't work in the master bedroom, tried everything. Other then that the condo had a great view, music from the restaurant below was nice. Overall we had a very nice time.

When we arrived the first thing that we noticed was how clean everything was on the inside. There were no bugs or palmetto bugs inside which was a big change from the last place we rented last year. The windows were all clean as well as everything else in the house. We loved having music downstairs from Scott's fishmarket and it would play until about 930 or 10 at night. We ate downstairs at bistro 17 which is awesome and also another great place is called the Black Marlin. We got these recommendations from the nice people we met at the pool. The upstairs included a king size bed, a bathroom with double vanity, and a large two person jetted tub. Downstairs was a nice kitchen, a balcony area that looked over to the Disney property and was a great advantage point for the Tuesday night firework shows. A couple of things that management needs to look into is that the refrigerator only keeps foods temped and may need serving or replacing at some time. Also The downstairs toilet tends to continue to ru

I the location was ideal. Although I was there for work, after hours was wonderful. The only major problem I had was the bedroom stayed very warm. The directions stayed the leave the thermostat on 75. Even with two fans running it was very hot. Other than that perfect.

My husband and I usually stay at several places in Sea Pines. We are HOOKED on THIS place and Shelter Cove. We absolutely loved the condo, and the location. We will definitely be back hopefully sooner than later. One complaint, the ice maker made about 6 cubes a day. We did have to buy ice everyday. This won’t keep us away, though!

This condo is Priced Right. The view is spectacular. It overlooks Shelter Cove Marina. There are many shops and restaurants you can walk to. The condo is comfortable, clean, and has all the amenities you need. The only reason I don't give it five stars is simply because the condo is somewhat dated inside. Wasn't a big deal to us. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The unit was only surface cleaned.

I called on 2/11 to report that the shower had a constant drip and that the bathroom exhaust fan made a screeching noise. I the was assured that someone would be there to fix them when we left 2/17 nothing had been done.

July 2017 Stay

We have admittedly become spoiled by staying down at beachfront properties over the past 25 years. This was a satisfactory alternative for us this year, as we needed a one-bedroom unit and there really was nothing to accommodate our needs in Palmetto Dunes. Unit was very clean and in an excellent location for those who don't care about beachfront. Upstairs bathroom could use some updating, but otherwise have no complaints. Price was right as well.
