A Yachats Classic With An Incredible Ocean View, Tide Pools & Sandy Beach!

This charming oceanfront cottage is ready for your romantic getaway! The historic Little Red Hideaway has a King bed that can be split into two Twins (with prior notice) in a private loft bedroom and a Queen sofa sleeper downstairs. Get cozy by the gas fireplace and soak in the view of the Pacific Ocean. Perfectly located as the edge of the 804 Trail, yet quiet and private.

Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, cable TV, DVD player and a gas BBQ grill.

Feel like exploring? Check out the boutiques, galleries and restaurants in the heart of Yachats or, choose to take the 804 Walking Trail and explore miles of sandy beach.

Sleeps up to 4 - 1 Bedroom, 1 King that can be split into two Twins (with 72 hours prior notice), 1 Twin, 1 Queen Sofa Sleeper, 1 bath.
Vehicles: Licensed for 2 (strictly enforced- No street parking)
Standard: 2 night minimum; Summer & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum.
*Each home is individually owned. Amenities and furnishings are subject to change at any time. Please contact our office with any questions.

Age Requirement: The primary registered guest must be at least 26 years of age. The majority of guests must be over 25, or children under adult supervision.

This home does not allow cat guests or other non-human, non-canine visitors. Dogs are welcome at this home but must be registered in advance and paid prior to arrival. This home has a 2-dog maximum occupancy! Pet Guests: One time $35+tax fee per dog. Pet fees are not included in the original reservation.

Fantastic location! Loved both the quick access to the beach and the coastal path. The porch overlooking the beach was used every day. And we loved the bedroom space being upstairs.

Everything one would need was available in the kitchen except the food you bring. Quite surprising array of dishes, utensils, only thing one might need is a lighter for the BBQ when the wind is blowing strong the electric igniters couldn't light the propane.Only issue we had was the code quit working for the door and we were locked out for 35 minutes waiting on a reply to text and email for help.We'll be back, lovely location, quiet, right on the beach

The location and views are amazing and a great selling point. Very close to beach access and the Oregon Coast trail. The cottage is vintage and funky. Loved it. Kitchen well stocked. I will say that it is time to replace the mattresses. Two of us were not able to sleep in the king bed because it was so saggy. That being said there were plenty of pillows and blankets, and throws for the sofa in the cool of the evening. We enjoyed our stay at Todd’s place!

Location is prime, couldnt beat it. House was hot, no air and wish there was a dishwasher. We had a great weekend and enjoyed the house.

Lovely Get A Way

We had a lovely stay for a couple of days. Location Location Location - Proximity to the beach was so easy. We enjoyed watching the tide, loved the front picture window that opens and the half door was a great addition to views and air movement. The porch chairs were comfortable and had the view. the upstairs windows opened to let the sound of the ocean in and a cool breeze.

Location, Location, Location

The location! The perfect property to stay and walk on the beach and watch sunsets. It was a little chilly at night, so we wanted to use the gas fireplace. We lit it and it would run for about 3 minutes and then shut off including pilot light. Fortunately, there were baseboards for heat. Shower was dirty on base both inside and outside. In short, great place to stay with minor issues.

Little Red Hideaway - Nice view, but ........

Little Red Hideaway – Yachats Pluses: 1. Easy access to 804 trail 2. A great beachfront view Minuses: 1. Gas fireplace would have been a plus, but it didn’t work and we got no advance warning of the situation nor any accommodation from the rental agent 2. No dishwasher 3. Steep stairway up to bedroom 4. The bedroom is on the second floor; the bathroom is on the first floor 5. Bed is really two single beds pushed together covered with a foam pad – not very comfortable 6. Shower is so small you can’t bend over 7. Only permanent heat sources are one electric baseboard heater and a wall heater in the bathroom. Portable space heaters were provided to help heat the place. 8. Using a space heater in the kitchen and making coffee at the same time tripped a circuit breaker 9. Limited number of electrical outlets 10. The furniture and cabinetry are worn out 11. The front door doesn’t fully open because it binds against floor 12. Salmon Street is more like an unimproved alley – complete with potholes 13. Driveway turns to mud when it rains We would not recommend.

Amazing location

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Little Red Cabin. The location on the beach and proximity to the trail leading to Yachats was a pleasant surprise. The bed upstairs was not comfortable with the foam mattress pad and we were not quite prepared for how rustic the cabin was. But, all in all we had a great stay. Thank you, Janet

Great location!

An amazing ocean view from the living room and back porch. Very quick and easy walk down to the beach. The home is located on the 804 trail that you can follow into town. We had a great stay! Highly recommend.

Perfect little getaway

This was the perfect little getaway spot for me and my husband as we celebrated his birthday. The kitchen was stocked of pots/pans/utensils, the house was clean, the couch was super comfy and the bed was comfortable. The fireplace was a perfect touch for the cold and stormy nights we were there. My only complaint wasn't about the house at all, but that it was difficult to get down to the beach. It looked like the wooden steps/pathway was blocked and the only way to get to the beach was down a bunch of slippery rocks. We made it... But it was a little treacherous. The house was perfect and you cannot beat that view 😍

Cute house and fantastic location

Upon entry, my wife and I both commented on how cute the house is -- perhaps the size is better suited for couple or couple with small child, but we made it work just fine for the two of us and our two kids (12 and 10). And the location can't be beat. Southernmost point of miles of sandy beach and Northernmost point of amazing 804 trail, which can be run (or walked) all the way into town. Great stay. Have already recommended to others. And very pleased with property management. Britney was fantastic. She was quick to respond and definitely had our best interests in mind.

Happy at the Beach

This was a cozy retreat for our family of five. Such character in the cottage and we enjoyed the gorgeous ocean view from the picture windows. We saw whales the entire stay! The kitchen had all we needed for cooking our local seafood purchases and the back porch had seating for all. The beds are upstairs so make note if you wouldn’t be ready to climb them(comfy leather pull out couch is downstairs). Also, noted that the bathroom and shower are smaller (it’s a cottage) but clean and had plenty of towels. We would like to return!!
