In Town! Cannery Inn - Lummi

Located a few blocks from the ferry landing; this newly built, cozy and modern unit has everything you will need to enjoy Friday Harbor.
Cannery Inn - Lummi is one of 4 rooms for rent at the Cannery Inn building. The Lummi room is ideal for guests seeking outdoor activities, shopping, dining and everything else the island has to offer. Also perfect for the boater who wants to regain their land legs, as the stairs down to the Port of Friday Harbor are only a few yards away.

This unit is equipped with a mini-Keurig (coffee pods are provided upon check-in) microwave, mini fridge, full bath, queen bed, Wi-Fi and flat screen Satellite TV. Guests are also welcome to relax and take in the magnificent water views from the common deck area. There is a smaller deck area attached to the unit if you are seeking more privacy. For groups larger than 2, please contact San Juan Property Management for booking additional units.

Downtown Friday Harbor is one short block away from the Cannery Inn. Guests can take a short stroll down the hill to visit some of Friday Harbor's best coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and parks.

Great location, beautiful view and comfortable room.

The location couldn’t have been better for our stay on San Juan Island. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Would stay here again!

Relaxing stay!

Super location with an excellent view of Friday Harbor. This location is close to restaurants and shops, we walked all over the downtown from here. Parking is easy and close. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfectly situated so I could walk everywhere in town in minutes.

It was perfect place for my needs. I was able to walk to all the restaurants in town for all my meals and it was clean, quiet, and spacious.

Great Convenient Place - needs a few things

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a gorgeous location, very convenient to the ferry and everything in town. The room was very nice and comfortable. The management company emailed us early on our arrival day to say we could get in earlier. We took an early ferry and squeezed in a gorgeous kayak. THANKS!!Could have used 2 luggage racks. Could use some shelves in the bathroom so we did not have to put our stuff on the floor. When you turn on the shower the water goes out onto the floor.

Nice room, easy walk to town

The room was clean and attractive, as advertised. Only complaint was the extremely thin walls, you can hear a lot from the neighboring rooms. The host is up front about this with prominent signs regarding the thin walls and provides ear plugs for your stay. It didn’t negatively affect our stay.

We enjoyed being able to sit on the deck and enjoy a glass of wine before walking to dinner for the night. Perfect spot for a relaxing stay on a gorgeous island. Highly recommend!

Great location, but noisy property

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is located very close to the downtown, ferry and harbor. The rooms are nice, but there is little or no soundproofing between the rooms. We could hear talking, snoring, hallway traffic from the other rooms. A hot water pot was provided with instant coffee packets and tea. A "real coffee" machine would have been nice.

Review of Cannery Inn Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at the Cannery Inn. We especially enjoyed the proximity to town which made it extremely walkable and the views from the community deck. We were grateful for the white noise machine because the other doors in the building created a noise for the door in our room, but it wasn't off-putting at all. Would definitely stay here again.

Noisy but nice

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, easy to walk around town. It is a very noisy building. Did not hear traffic but can hear every door open close, neighboring room conversations and toilets flushing. Would have been nicer if it had better insolation between the walls and doors. Only 2 paper cups were provided for 3 days in site, but with grocery within walking distance we bought some. Shower is very small and water leaks out of the door. I bit of mildewing around the caulking but overall spaces were clean. Enjoyed our time overall.

Comfortable and lovely view

Our room was clean and very comfortable. We ate some of our meals on our private deck overlooking the marina. Close to shopping and restaurants with a short uphill walk. We very much enjoyed our stay

Only complaint, no coffee maker to make coffee. Just a pot to heat water!

Super great location with a great view and clean.

This was a great an convenient property. The walls are very thin, so there was a lot of noise with the other guests. I would stay here again.

Great location

Convenient location

The property is in a great location, you can reach a lot within walking distance. The walls are paper thin, you can hear full on conversations (and more…) from other guests. The information we received really emphasized the priority of cleanliness but there was garbage left behind in our room from previous guests. The bathroom is poorly laid out with NO counter space and the shower is really tiny, so be prepared for that. I wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer than the two night minimum.
