San Juan Suites - Northwest Passages - Waterview! Downtown Friday Harbor! Beautifully furnished and interior updated in 2020, the Northwest Passages Suite is a luxurious getaway in the heart of Friday Harbor. This unit is on the second level of a beautiful downtown building with stair access only. Enjoy the ambiance of the propane stove or watch the ferry and boating traffic from your balcony while grilling your local catch on the outdoor BBQ.

The suite has a fully equipped kitchen beautifully detailed with granite counter tops and stainless appliances. Enjoy a meal at the breakfast bar built for two or gather around the beautiful dining table with seating for 4. This suite is equipped with a standard, drip-style coffee maker. The living space offers a DVD player, HDTV, satellite TV, and a view of the Friday Harbor Ferry Dock. This one (1) bedroom suite is furnished with a King size bed and opens to a full bath complete with a Jacuzzi tub and walk-in fully tiled shower for rest and relaxation! The entryway of the Northwest Passage Suite is equipped with an additional 3/4 bathroom (with walk-in shower) and access to the stackable washer and dryer.

The second bed in this suite is an Aerobed.

The block surrounding the San Juan Suites offers many delicious restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, ice-cream shops and art galleries, all within walking distance. On Saturday mornings the local San Juan Island Farmer's Market is a 1-minute walk from the San Juan Suites!

This house has good cell phone reception.

This unit is equipped with Central Air.

One car per unit is allowed in the off-street parking space.

There is not an elevator in the building, climbing a flight of 18 stairs is required.

Pets are not allowed at this property.

The room was very spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. It was close to all Friday Harbor activities, shops, and restaurants. For being so close to the ferry landing, it was surprisingly quiet. Host communication was very thorough and timely ... no issues with the booking or check-in process.

We enjoyed our selves. Parking was great. Loved the view. Wish the bar was not there and there was outside porch, but overall it was great. Weā€™ve been coming to Friday Harbor for over 50 years. Miss not having a boat. This was the next next thing.

The place was easy to find with a great location and a view of the harbor. Easy walking distance to the ferry, the grocery store, restaurants, and a cafe for coffee in the morning.

Great apartment, a little too close to the action

The accommodations were great and we loved being so central. We didn't give 5 stars since the noise of the ferry traffic meant you couldn't sleep with the windows open (or you had to wake up to close them at 4:30 am),.

Perfect in-town stay

The property was spacious and comfortable, with lovely harbor views from many angles. It had all the key amenities: laundry, jacuzzi, parking, and a little deck with a grill. Within five minutes walk wehad access to many restaurants, shops, groceries, coffee stands, and so on. This would definitely be our choice for another Friday Harbor stay.

The unit is really spacious and what you might consider a location that comes with noise was not a problem. Might be the acoustic deadening or efforts that the town has to reduce ambient noise near the ferry, but itā€™s just not an issue. Lots of eateries, shops and amenities within an easy walk. Canā€™t fault any aspect of this really nice unit. Enjoy.

Nice view, great location.

Very nice property in downtown Friday Harbor. Walking distance to businesses and restaurants in the area. We happened to visit the island during a rainy time which kept us in for some of our time there, and we were happy to relax by a window and enjoy the view of the water. A very enjoyable stay.

Great lodging at an extremely convenient location

One could not possibly be more in the heart of downtown Friday Harbor. Great location, with nice views. Less than a short block away from the main supermarket. Over the years we have stayed in different areas of FH and this is the best. The unit was clean, spacious and with all what we needed. Communication with the host was easy and they were very accommodating. We greatly enjoyed our stay as a result!

Excellently appointed! Good for work and play!

My son and his partner stayed here for a few days. They had extensive need for internet meetings etc. Loved the view and the excellent comfort ā€” also no problem with internet (which can be a big problem on the island)
