In Town! Cannery Inn - Salish located a few blocks from the ferry landing; this newly built, cozy and modern unit (in a 4 unit building) has everything you will need to enjoy Friday Harbor. (Salish)

Cannery Inn - Salish is one of 4 rooms for rent in the Cannery Inn building. The Salish room is ideal for guests seeking outdoor activities, shopping, dining and everything else the island has to offer. Also perfect for the boater who wants to regain their land legs, as the stairs down to the Port of Friday Harbor are only a few yards away.

This unit is equipped with a mini-Keurig (coffee pods are provided upon check-in) microwave, mini fridge, full bath, queen bed, Wi-Fi and flat screen Satellite TV. Guests are also welcome to relax and take in the magnificent water views from the common deck area. There is a smaller deck area attached to the unit, shown in the photos and is attached to the guest-viewing deck. For groups larger than 2, please contact San Juan Property Management for booking additional units.

Downtown Friday Harbor is one short block away from the Cannery Inn. Guests can take a short stroll down the hill to visit some of Friday Harbor's best coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and parks.
This property is non-smoking.
This property is Adults ONLY. No Pets. Quiet time is from 9 Pm to 9 Am.
This unit does not have a kitchen or kitchen items available.
This building does not have Air Conditioning.
This property does not have laundry facilities and does not offer daily housekeeping services or refill of check-in snacks.

Beautiful room! Cozy and quaint! Views were amazing! We took advantage of the beautiful deck and views with a glass of wine each evening. Perfect location quiet and cozy. We could walk to everything! Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Little Spot

My Husband and I had a great 5 night stay:) We enjoyed the view of the Marina from the deck every single night. The room with clean and had most of the basics.

Great find!

The room was clean, great location, comfy bed. Other reviewers complained about thin walls, but we didnā€™t have a problem at all. Very courteous neighbors. Great view of the harbor. Loved our stay at Friday Harbor!

There was no air conditioning, but the room ventilated pretty well with the window and doors. The patio seating had a great view of the harbor and other islands. The only issue was that the walls were a bit thin, but there were provided earplugs, and nothing was loud enough to interrupt our sleeping. We would definitely look in to staying here again.

The room was nicely appointed, however you had to leave the room to get a good view of the harbor. And I felt the room could have been cleaner: dirty hand prints on the bathroom door, dust on top surfaces, and mold on shower curtain. For the cost of the cleaning fee it should have been cleaner.

This location is close to all the food and rental/excursion companies in town. It looked brand new inside and out and decorated in neutral, calming gray tones. Only thing we missed was AC. There's a great breeze, but being in Salish, our French doors opened to the shared deck and our window was by the sidewalk with no screen. It was stuffy coming back to the room after a day of excursions or dinner.

Reviewer Comments: It is advertised for 189. 00 but has so many add on charges including a non refundable damage deposit and 165.00 in cleaning fees for basically a hotel room. My two night stay ended up costing 649.00!!!!! Beware !!

Rating Details: The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was hard to sleep because our neighbors were extremely noisy and loud, and the walls are paper-thin. This place isn't designed to accommodate vacationers. Two chair and a table in the room would be so useful because there was a lot of rain and wind when we were there making it difficult to sit at the patio. No conditioner or body wash. That's the bare minimum one would expect. The bath drain pools while showering and hot water smells bad. Overall not a great stay other than the convenient location. I wouldn't stay there again. Especially the noise made it impossible and not enough amenities to make it worth it.

It is an excellent location, the bed is plush, the outside deck is beautiful; everything is really nice. EXCEPT, the walls as advertised are paper thin. We we awakend both after midnight and at 6AM by conversation on the other side. The owners MUST do something about this

Love the big deck looking out over the harbor and all the flowers that adorn it. Would like to see them up their game with the in-room coffee. Instant coffee packets and half and half cups that were left out (why not in the refrigerator?) and had curdled.

Cute lil spot

Great location on Friday Harbor. Shared patio space had excellent view. Room was small but neat. Perfect for our two night stay. The shared walls are thin but the room was supplied with ear plugs and a noise machine.

I loved everything about this property except the thin walls. You could do something about the slamming doors; however, people should understand after the first time their door slams, they need to hold it to close it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time staying at the Cannery Inn. The hotel has everything you need and self check-in was a breeze. On our way out after the weekend we even stowed a bag or two at their office in Friday Harbor, which we were happy they graciously allowed after checkout. The only thing that would've made the stay better is thicker walls. We could almost hear everything the couple adjacent to our room was saying and doing. The street noise wasn't bad though and it was quiet otherwise. The deck is a great amenity, we had a great time sitting out there. All in all, we will be back!
