This one of a kind property in the exclusive Sandhill Shores Community features everything you could need to make your week away dreams come true. A crystal blue pool greets you in the morning, inviting you to enjoy the soothing breezes and impeccable views of your private beach. A private walkway takes you directly to your own beach where you can set up a canopy, picnic, cooler, and chairs for the day just a few yards away from the house and spend endless hours listening to the ocean waves lap the shore. Keep in mind, you must collect your belongings from the beach by sunset each day. Galveston ordinance prohibits camping, tents, or other temporary shelters after sundown and are subject to removal by City Parks and Recreation Board. This home features 5 bedrooms, indoor and outdoor dining , and all the amenities of home at your fingertips. Sandhill Shores is a wonderful, private, beachfront community with unique luxury homes built behind the best sand dunes on the West End of Galveston Island.

HOA and Renters Rules are strictly enforced and guests who violate the rules are subject to fines, cancellations, and removal, without refund. A 6 night minimum stay is required and 13 night maximum stay is the longest reservation permitted.

Our family enjoyed our time here. Check-in was easy, the pool was great, there are lots of beach toys to use, and plenty of room. We had an issue with the AC, but the owner was very responsive and worked with us to resolve it.

We started with some issues with cleanliness and cookware. The Host communicated and sent new cookware. It’s hard to keep the upstairs cool so we brought in fans to help. The outside deck railing has missing pieces that a child or dog could go through and down below. The hot tub did not work. With all that said the home is comfortable and in a convenient and private area. The Host assured me that the issues would be taken Care of after we left. The neighborhood is quiet and enjoyable.

Our Annual Visit

The location of this house plus the pool is amazing. We’ve been coming here since 2019 as a family. We’re thinking we may have outgrown the house and had concerns with the doors this year (ability to lock and unlock).

convenient to beach and pool

the property is overpriced . one bed had dirty sheets. kitchen pans were dirty. it had many broken wooden blinds on windows and doors. storage box in upper bedroom was soaked in condensation , starting to mold. ceiling water spots from prior leaks. i probably will rent again in the area , because the boys had a great time between the pool and beach.

Great beach house

House was clean and well stocked with cookware, pillows, games, etc. Very uncrowded beach. The pool was a real hit!

Overall: It was a nice stay with family that we enjoyed. But too many issues for the cost to want to go back to this property again. Positives: Nice location away from town. Beds slept well and were comfortable. Air conditioning was good. Issues: Arrived to dark house with storm shutters closed. Door handles must be pulled up to lock outside doors. No instructions were provided on shutters or door locks. Pool was dirty. Contacted manager Sat and told someone would be out but took until Monday for cleaning. There was dirt in the pool but also the bottom finish was so worn in places that it looked like sand. Deck around pool and the boards around the pool edge are in poor shape. Fasteners have failed and ends of boards stick up. Metal straps holding pool edge boards together have sharp edges. Had to wash sea spray film off the windows so we could see out clearly. Interior window shutters are damaged. Some places were held together with unsightly black duct tape. Microwave quit working Thursday. We were told there would be a replacement there Friday. By the time we checked out on 9:30 Saturday, no microwave had been delivered. Blender in the kitchen cabinets had tape over it stating it did not work. Tar balls on the beach and in the surf will stain shoes and feet – just cannot avoid them all. Luckily using vegetable oil got them off without having to use a solvent. Rust showing through white paint on the back porch structure detracts from the aesthetics.

Wonderful Family Vacation

This was our family’s 3rd year at this fabulous house and we’re already planning for next year. Elizabeth is a wonderful host and very attentive to questions and responsive to needs. The setting is so peaceful and we all come away feeling revitalized.

Loved the house and location! Very disappointed cause there was no place to ride my golf cart! Pool needs a little maintenance, had sand in it when we got there! The inside had wooden white shutters which were awesome but someone had used black duck tape on them where they were broke! Door looks were hard to unlock and lock but overall we would definitely rent again! Loved having a pool facing the beach!!! Beach was so pretty and clean💙 Definitely recommend this house

Excellent week on the beach

Communication with Elizabeth was fantastic! We had a really relaxing week on the beach. Great location and the house was wonderful for both families. We also really enjoyed the pool time. The home had some wear and tear, but that did not bother us at all. We would definitely go back!

Wonderful place to be at home away at the beach

We were so thankful to find this house! It was a huge part of making our time at the shore amazing. The house has a perfect layout for families who want to spend time inside and outside and truly feel at home while away. There are always "beauty chic" aspects of any house right on the coast just because these houses take a beating from weather and salt, but there was nothing that impacted our stay at all. Its a beach house! We especially enjoyed the short walk to the beach, the hammocks, the many bedrooms to divide up kids/family, the kitchen/pantry, and the pool. It is away from the busier end of Galveston, but still only 20 mins from nearest Walmart, so conveniences are still close. It was so much more peaceful than AL/FL destinations. We would absolutely recommend and return without hesitation.

Great vacation spot for families directly on the beach with a pool.

Our family had a great time on our vacation at this property! It was a real treat to have a pool to swim in that had ocean views. The kids had plenty of room to spread out. The beach location was great since it was pedestrian only, so we didn't have to worry about constant cars going down the beach and the kids getting run over. It was a very quiet neighborhood and a relaxing vacation. We will be back!

Hands Down THE BEST

Let me just start by saying WOW! If you are looking at any other options, just stop now! We take a yearly trip to the Galveston area (Galveston, Crystal Beach, Surfside/Freeport are where we've booked so far) this trip and home/location has hands down been the best of them all, and we won't be booking anywhere else in the area from now on! The home is beautiful, comfortable, clean, spacious, and well stocked for your basic needs. Elizabeth is so sweet, and a wonderful host! The pool and hottub are amazing, lots and lots of sand toys, chairs, and boogie boards for a fun day at the beach without having to lug your own. It doesn't show in the images but there is a living room with tv up stairs as well as the down stairs area, our kids loved having their own hang out spot, and enjoyed all the games provided as well. The beach is clean, quiet, and doesn't have vehicles driving or parking all over it. Picture perfect sunrises, and great hermit crab hunting (WE FOUND OVER 30) Close enough to be out of the hustle and bustle, but have a short drive in to Galveston or Surfside for good food and activities! I could go on and on truly, you will not be disappointed if you book! Counting down the days until we can come again!

We are close to the island and are available if we are needed at any time and hope all who stay in our home come to love it as much as we do!

Galveston beachfront property at a wonderful value! Pool and decks galore, perfect for quiet getaway or family and friends celebration. Ocean views on the East side and bay views from the West. Large screen TV's for those who prefer to keep it cooler inside, and hammocks downstairs to enjoy a breeze. Not likely to find another gem like this on the island for the price!

Galveston has a rich tradition and long history in the Gulf Coast, but one of the things that is best about this particular property its secluded beach that easily is one of the most scenic and peaceful on the island. Love to bird watch? This is the place for you! Oystercatchers, Stilts & Avocets, Sandpipers, Phalaropes & Allies, Gulls, Terns, & Skimmers all populate this beach and at any time of the day you will see them overhead and running through the beach shoreline.

Love to stargaze? You can see our very own Milky Way right from the porch! Turn out all the lights, get a comfy spot on a lounge chair or even get a sleeping bag and get ready for the shooting stars! It's a full show all night, filled with sparkling gems in the sky and on a clear night every constellation appears until the sun starts to peek through around 6 am. Beautiful full moons make for a perfectly clear beach just right for a late night walk on the pristine shores.
