Only 200 steps to Poipu Beach and Brennecke's Beach Restaurant. This two bedroom is fully furnished with 2 queen beds, air conditioning in the bedrooms, TV in every room, FREE Wi-Fi, and fully stocked kitchen. This is the perfect vacation rental for singles, couples or small families.

The complex offers shared BBQ area and laundry facilities. Please note this unit is on the third floor and there is no elevator.

Had a few cooking supplies which was nice, super clean and the walkability to the beach and a few restaurants was perfect! The morning coffee gals under Brenneckes restaurant was great too. Had extra towels and beach towels/chairs. Nice quiet spot, A/C worked great, we would book this place again.

Fantastic property! Amazing location!

This location is perfect. Close to the beach and to town. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Nice snorkeling and surfing minutes away.

The proximaty to the beach is only a short walk, the proximity on the island makes it easy to explore both the canyon and the north shore and the condo itself is very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Condo was nicely updated, comfortable and clean. Perfect for a relaxing get away. Close enough to main road for trips around the island. Overall, great place to stay and would love to return!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience with this property/manager. All aspects (booking, location, access, communication) went like clockwork. The property was well maintained, quiet and in an excellent location. Snorkel equipment and beach chairs/towels were a nice surprise. Daytime temperatures in Dec/Jan were around 73 F (22 C) and we barely touched the air conditioning. The only drawback is the communal BBQ (a Weber Genesis which, as a side note, I also own back in Canada). For some reason, the communal BBQ couldn't get over 330 F. Certainly not a big issue - as long as you know, you can plan meals accordingly. Thank you!

Great location, clean and free close parking.

This property is managed by a professional rental company not by owner. The company was congenial and quick to respond with any questions or concerns. We able not able to access the laundry room for a few days but they worked hard to resolve the situation. If choosing this rental be aware that the apartment like unit is located on the third floor and the VRBO service fee is charged separately. There also an additional fee to use a credit card as form of payment and alengthy contract. That being said the management company was good to work with. The keyless entry was appreciated. The outside unit looks fine, a little older, could be spruced up but the inside was clean and updated. Two Tommy Bahama beach chairs and four umbrellas and snorkeling gear was an added bonus, as well as split AC units in each room. I would stay here again and the location was fabulous!

Disappointed.

Great location, close to beach park, restaurants & resorts. However, the property is not a resort nor a condo. It’s a 8 unit apartment bldg in need of considerable maintenance. Unit had adequate cooking utensils & supplies however some utensils need to be replaced & most needed to be cleaned. Appreciated that broken beach chairs were replaced day after requested. Windows were filthy as noted by previous reviewer. I reported it early in my 20 day stay but they were never cleaned. Windows are old, didn’t open or close easily & exterior window sills are rotting. Beds are uncomfortable, food was left in microwave, secondary shower head doesn’t turn off & rubber shower door seal was left hanging over door for me to reinstall; fell off a couple times during stay. Guests should have access to broom & vacuum. BBQ function is limited, at best. Nice laundry. Would not stay here again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First let me start off by saying that this is a nice condo in an excellent location. It's small but has everything you need. It's very clean and the beds are comfortable (sheets are amazing actually, very high thread count). But all of that was wiped out by the constant heat in the condo. It has great room air conditioners in every room which blew cold air but they just couldn't compete. We ran them 24/7 and that made it bearable enough but they are loud so it was hard to sleep. We brought our ear plugs so that made it easier. We just couldn't figure out why the condo wouldn't cool! At one point, my husband put his hand up on the ceiling in the bathroom and it was VERY hot so I'm guessing no insulation. If you are going in the winter when it's a bit cooler, this might be a great place. Like I said it's great in every other way but I can't recommend this place in the summer.

Even with the portable fans and room air conditioners, the summer’s in Kauai can be overly warm. The owner is currently working to install a split AC to help remedy this issue. It’s unfortunate the temperature was such a factor for your trip, but we hope you were still able to explore and enjoy some of the surrounding areas. Absolutely loved this location, 1/2 block to beach and easy access to all restaurants. Very impressed with how well the condo was stocked. We had everything we needed and more. Only thing that would be nice is to have a lamp in living room.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was on the top floor (lots of stairs) but view was nice of the water. Small space but adequate enough . No really place to put beach gear, or hang laundry to dry (lots of rain while we were there). Wish it had a porch to enjoy the views better! Neighbor was a bit grumpy, and occasionally loud with herbal smell wafting over. No dishwasher (my fault for missing that in listing). Parking space was tight but nice to have covered spot. Overall ok rental for location.

Kauai Birthday Celebration

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay in Poipu - we loved the proximity to the turtle resting spot. Not to mention the giant breaching whale show we got to see - I have never seen anything like it before. The parking was a little challenging with the support poles. The property served us well for cooking (we did see one giant cockroach but it kindly and quickly hid itself away - we understand this is a normal occurrence on the islands). The beds were soft (maybe a bit too soft for me). That said, we had a relaxing and fun vacation.

Reviewer Comments: To start, I would like to give my genuine thanks for the attentiveness and patience Hawaii Life Rentals gave to my many questions and concerns regarding the stay and hawaii in general. They were quick to respond and provided so much useful information! This was my first real vacation with my parents and I really wanted everything as perfect as possible. The rental was clean, nice, and provided a lot of potential activities in walking distance for the Poipu area. Everything that was/wasn't provided was transparent so I was prepared when we got there. Check-in and checkout was simple! We were comfortable the entire time and my parents were happy!Other than the many stairs for my older parents (which I should've inquired about) and the door code not working sometimes, I have nothing really bad to say about this rental/owner. Thank you all so much, it was a great stay!

Great Place to Stay

It was within walking distance to the beach (maybe a block away) and you can see the beach from the livingroom window. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The night before we were to fly out, we got stuck on the road back to the condo for 3 hours. We knew we were going to get in late so I emailed to ask if we could have an extra hour to check out. In the morning, I got a call to let me know that we could have until noon to check out because they did not have another rental coming in and the housekeeper would rearrange the schedule. We were so happy to have that extra couple of hours. Would definately stay here again.

Great place to stay

We loved the condo. It was very close to the beach, within walking distance and my family loved that. It was clean and had everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay. The night before we were supposed to check it, we got caught in traffic due to a car accident and the highway was closed for four hours. We got back late and were not able to pack that night. I emailed Rene at 11:30 that night asking if we could have an extra hour to get stuff packed up the day we were supposed to leave. She called at 8:30 to let us know we could have until noon to check out. That helped so much and I could not thank them enough for being so accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view of water, but windows and screens needed to be cleaned. Shower had 2 nozzle heads that continuously ran, using more water than necessary. Best part of unit is the location to Poipu beach for snorkeling and swimming.

Beautiful view of ocean

This was a perfect location for us to make numerous trips to Poipu beach for snorkeling and jumping the waves. Unit was clean but we would have enjoyed the view more if the windows had been cleaned. Kitchen was well stocked and there were several beach items for us to use. The shower was large, but the 2 nozzles continued to spray from both sides of the shower, thus using more water than we needed. We were unable to close the valve for either nozzle. We did miss having a washer/dryer in the unit.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Poor exterior...too many spiders hanging around! We were afraid to open windows to enjoy the breeze. A/C unit in one bedroom had a drain issue that apparently can’t be fixed. As for the interior, great! Honestly, I would not recommend this condo.
