Watch the sunset from your beautiful beach house overlooking Lake Michigan. Located on Lake Shore Drive in quiet Michiana; ideal for long walks on the beach, biking for miles or playing in the surf.

Michiana is part of Michigan's Harbor Country. Drive north on the Red Arrow Highway and discover wineries, craft breweries and fabulous antique stores and art galleries.
The house is a short drive from New Buffalo, which has a marina with boat rentals available. The Four Winds Casino is in New Buffalo; the Blue Chip Casino is in nearby Michigan City Indiana. Michigan City also has an outlet mall.

House is spacious and comfortable, with four bedrooms (one king, two queen and two twin beds), two new bathrooms, large dining room, and huge screened in porch with large screen SMART TV. Second SMRT TV in living room with DVD player. Central air and ceiling fans. All linens, towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella and beach towels provided. Fully equipped kitchen. Washer/dryer in basement. Hi speed wifi. We keep a kayak and a paddle board on the beach for your use. We have 4 bikes and beach toys for your enjoyment. Dogs are welcome - they are allowed on the beach before 11 am and after 5 pm.
Please note: the house is not available to rent between November 1 and April 15.
In July and August weekly rental minimum.

Great house, extremely clean and comfortable. The front porch/deck is where we spent hours watching the water. The beach was steps away and it was just beautiful there. We loved it! 10/10!!!

Perfect!

This is an amazing location and a home that supported our whole family and pets. Our dogs loved their morning walks on the beach and the kids loved the location, waking up and going to bed with a lake view each day!

We had a wonderful stay at this Lake Michigan home! The location is perfect, with a beautiful front porch that looks right out at the lakeā€”it quickly became our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening sunsets. The house itself is spacious and very comfortable, with four nicely sized bedrooms that easily accommodated our family.One of the highlights was the huge screened-in back porch, which was perfect for family games, hanging out, and enjoying summer nights. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals, and it made our stay so convenient.The owners also thought of all the little extras that make a beach vacation easierā€”there were plenty of beach chairs, towels, and toys, so we didnā€™t have to worry about packing those things.Overall, it was the ideal spot for a relaxing family getaway. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful Lake Michigan retreat.

Nothing can beat the location...short walk to the beach, stunning sunsets...so peaceful to look out onto Lake Michigan. New Buffalo and the surrounding towns have so much to offer. Owner and house manager were so easy to communicate with. House was well stocked (dishes, cooking utensils, serving bowls, towels, beach chairs, etc). We loved the three season room. The house was very clean, but could use a little TLC as it is an older home on a large body of water...at times a bit mildew smelling. We had no issue with climbing the stairs to the house, but someone with limitations may have difficulty. I would definitely rent this home again!

The *Waterfront Beach House" did not disappoint! It is absolutely adorable with an eclectic beachy vibe which is right up our alley. The lakefront view was incredible and the sound of the waves crashing mesmerizing. Anne had everything that we could possibly need right there. Plenty of towels, blankets kitchen supplies, etc. The cleanliness was top notch. We needed to reach out to Megan the house manager once and she was wonderfully responsive. The neighborhood is gorgeous. We look forward to staying there again the next time we head up to Michigan! Thanks Anne :0)

Beautiful location!

Best part about the trip- watching the sunset on the lake sitting on the porch and the Short walk to the beach. The WiFi was spotty but host was responsive to improving it. overall a great place to stay! We have come here two years in a row with four kids and four adults. We enjoyed this house and never felt crowded.

Phenomenal Lake Front Vacation Home

This property is phenomenal!!! Itā€™s everything you need in a lake house. Itā€™s not fancy but thatā€™s OK. Itā€™s the perfect getaway with your family to enjoy each other and the beautiful surroundings. Everything was supplied. We needed nothing except groceries. Every single one of us in our family had so much fun! The convenience to the beach, the large deck out front, the abundance of beach chairs and towels, made this trip so easy and fun! There are also bicycles and a kayak. We didnā€™t use them, but itā€™s sure nice to know theyā€™re available if you ever do need them. The sunsets were easily seen from the deck each evening. It was spectacular to say the least.

Fabulous waterfront home

We had a fabulous family vacation here. Located between two beach areas, each is less than a 10 minute walk. The view of Lake Michigan from the front of the home is majestic- we loved opening the windows and listening to the waves. Staying here felt like being at home, and Anne is a welcoming host. Would definitely stay here again!

Quick Relaxing Family Weekend

Nice quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view of Lake Michigan and walking distance to the beach. The property provided plenty of space for 8 adults. A variety of beach equipment and toys were available for our use to take to the beach. Anne was easy to reach and the check-in/out was very easy. We hope to come back again!

We had a wonderful time at the beach house. So many hours watching the sunset, the storms on the lake and just listening to the waves on the beautiful porch. Ann made my family and I very comfortable and there was plenty of room for the kids and grandkids. It was so relaxing and we hope to return soon.

Beautiful lake front property

We had a wonderful stay at this home right along Lakeshore Drive in Michiana. The views are spectacular and the house has an amazing screen porch where we enjoyed meals and game night. The beds are comfortable and the owners provide plenty of extra linens . The dining room features a nice long table with benches to encourage meals together with lots of sharing. We appreciate you sharing your spacious home with us!

Great getaway spot

Lovely owners and very communicative. House was comfortable and great location- only a few minutes from beach. Thereā€™s lots of board games, chairs, towels, kitchen items, a kayak, paddleboard, a wagon- great to know so you donā€™t have to pack a lot. Notes if youā€™re looking to book this place: take toilet paper. Stove gets very hot under where cookie sheets are kept- so wear an oven mit if grabbing a sheet after already warmed up.

Family Vacation in Michiana

My family and I had a great 5 day stay at this very cute house. The host, Anne, was friendly, easy to contact and accommodating and provided us with clear and easy check-in and check-out instructions. The house is on a bluff and has a nice view of Lake Michigan as well as the gorgeous Michigan sunsets. Being able to hear the waves at night was lovely! The house itself was clean and nicely decorated and we had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed for meal prep. I would love to stay here again.
