We enjoyed this unique property on the river! The house was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! Beds were very comfortable! We enjoyed the river and would definitely return!

House was fantastic. Old school home with the right updates. Best AC of any house we’ve stayed in. Perfect spot on the lake with a fantastic dock space to access the water. You absolutely cannot beat the location. Not the best spot for the river rats that just want to party all night but, the perfect location for a family getaway. Close enough to New B to take float trips during the day without the party crowd keeping you up all night. And you’re 15 minutes or less from great food and a nice HEB for anything you forgot. Will definitely be back. Host is very communicative and ready to assist with anything you might need.

Very relaxing

Even though it was so hot outside we were able to play games. We created a lot of memories with stories of my dad that had passed in May. Also a lot of laughter, which is good for the soul. The best time was when my 11 year old nephew caught a 5 lb catfish, he was so determined to catch one and when he did he was so excited. Thank you all for letting us enjoy this time with family.

Our Family of 10 had a great Time over Labor Day 2022

The house is unique. Loved the outside areas…covered pavilion and great grills.and a fire pit that worked. The dining table seated all 10 of us after we found chairs. The water toys we read about were not all there. No paddle board. Kayak was there. The lake is really low and there is a new low dock to help get in water and kayak. The manager sent over Jr. the handyman who hung the broken swing, put lightbulbs in numerous lamps and fixtures and fixed a loose step on the dock. The outside furniture needed cleaned by us. The kitchen had a lovely coffee area with nice coffee makers. Loved the countertop ice maker. The bedrooms are small except for one and no closets. The basement bedroom has no where to put personal items and no plugs. We loved the decor! Very western and lots of unique seating areas. We were able to spread out. There are two scooters we tried to charge but they didn’t work. All in all, the house was OK. Needs attention. The security gate did not work. Each night we closed it manually. It has been broken for some time. There is no recycling so we took it all with us. The Manager Hilda did respond. We have always had great luck with VRBO. Hope this property gets adobe attention because it has such potential. FYI the house is 3 levels. Top floor has 3 bedrooms and 1 nice bath. The nicest bathroom is on the main floor in the tv/game room which has pullout couches. The basement bedroom is small but nice shower area that could have a chest and vanity. But no outlets. J. Fantastic location, loved the kitchen, nice playground for kids. Loved outside scenery and sitting.

Overall very very happy with rental. We all enjoyed the ping pong, water necessities, extra towels, & THE River. Ice maker, coffee and coffee maker and very functional kitchen! Extra perks: available board games. Only negative was backyard solar lighting leading to river docking/gazebo NOT working.

Stunning River House

Absolutely beautiful house and property. Host did a great job of thinking about everything you could possibly need that you would normally have at your house. Amazing outdoor smoker that I wish I would have been prepared to use, for anyone that enjoys BBQ.

Fabulous house to stay

The house was a really nice place to stay at! It was spacious, very sunny and has lots of plants decorating the house. The beds were all pretty comfortable. The outdoor area was great. It was so relaxing to sit on the deck in the evening. The kids really enjoyed the swing and the riverside view. It has everything we need and even more than we expected. We had a good time at all the nearby attractions, like tubing in the Comal River.

Fantastic house for a relaxing getaway with friends

This house has easy river access with a beautiful view. The morning is peaceful and afternoon is cool under all of the trees even in the high 90s. House had ample amenities (even included bath bombs) and was very homie. Overall, the beautiful river, patio, and clean cool house made our weekend away one of the most relaxing we have had in a long time. The charm inside the home is endless. Would highly recommend!

Great lake house!

Wonderful weekend! The house is in a great location, in a very nice neighborhood. Great house with very open concept, comfortable furniture, super clean and we love the decoration. The outdoor facilities and the deck on the lake were awesome. Our grandchildren loved the diving board and the available water gadgets. We all have a great time and we definitely will recommend this lake house to our friends. Looking forward to rent it again!!!

Great house on the lake with lots of toys

The property was great! The house was very clean, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and lots of toys for all age groups. The dock has a fantastic setup, it’s covered which was great to get out of the sun, also the kids loved the diving board. Everything worked well, we had no issues. It was a great family trip. Thanks!

Perfect Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house and on the lake! The house is equipped with everything we needed (comfy beds, cozy towels, outdoor games, and every lake toy you could possibly need), and the homeowner was quick to go above-and-beyond to make sure we had our (much-appreciated) morning cup of coffee. We ate all of our meals outside on the patio or by the lake. It was the perfect family getaway!

Perfect House for Family-Friendly Getaway
