Thank you for the opportunity to host you and your family Scott. This is definitely a great location for those who want to be able to walk to the beach and enjoy a beautiful sunset or a bite to eat. Unfortunately we are still rebuilding from hurricane Ian, but are working hard to get back to where we used to be. We put a lot of time & detail into the listings with photography & descriptions and include the square footage of every property so that travelers have the best idea possible what the accommodations are. We are not a hotel & do not provide cleaning or paper products for an entire stay; we send all guests a message with specific list of items provided & the quantity so they know how to best prepare for their stay. Housekeeping left snacks as an extra special added touch for guests to enjoy; above & beyond the items listed as provided.

Hi Glenda - thanks for your review. The owner has provided decor & furnishings in their condo per their preference, but we're sorry to hear the firmness of the mattress wasn't your preference. The views is definitely enjoyable & the condo well-equipped for a great beach vacation!

Hi Gary - thanks for taking time to leave your feedback. The owner's have put a lot of time & energy into providing a well-equipped, comfortable space for guests to enjoy. A lot of time & thought goes into the pictures and property description in the listing; the condo is as pictured when you booked it & nothing changed. Paper products & amenities are not provided for a guests entire stay; this isn't a hotel. We send a specific list to guests of what to expect so that they can best prepare for their trip. The slider door lock has been checked & it's functioning as it should, but we're sorry to hear of the mishap. The condo is not listed as having an ice maker under the amenities for the reason that it does not have one, but we've added two additional ice trays so. We're glad you enjoyed your stay!

We appreciate your feedback, but we’d like to clarify a few important points. The property description has always made it clear that this community is in a post-hurricane construction zone and that the pool remains closed. This has been disclosed in the listing since last summer, ensuring guests are aware before booking. Additionally, the common area laundry situation is fully disclosed, and we do not advertise a dishwasher—nor do any of our photos suggest otherwise. Regarding the condition of the unit, had you reached out about the damaged glasses during your stay, we would have been more than happy to replace them for you. After your departure, our cleaners inspected the unit and addressed the concerns you mentioned. It’s disheartening when guests fail to recognize or appreciate the challenges this area has faced in recovering from a catastrophic hurricane just two years ago. We're not sure who made you the expert on hurricane recovery timelines. Restorations take time, and while progress is being made, expecting immediate perfection in a rebuilding community is unrealistic. Many guests come here to support the recovery of our owners, businesses, and the local area, and we truly appreciate those who do. If that’s not something you can get behind, this may not be the right destination for you.
