Single family home directly on Lake Michigan with 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bath. Newly remodeled and upgraded with top of the line finishes and private beach access, this a perfect family vacation home! Three screened in porches facing the lake, one with an outdoor dining table, gas grill and chairs. Brand new outdoor furniture for premiere porch lounging. Family room includes a 60 inch flat screen with brand new couches, lounge chairs and gas fireplace. Full eat in dining area with large dining table to seat 10 and hardwood floors throughout. Kitchen includes stainless kitchen refrigerator and dishwasher, ice maker, cocktail sink, garbage disposal, new counter tops and cabinets. Location is ideal, 5 minute drive to Blue Chip Casino, LIghthouse Outlet Mall and 15 minute drive to Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo, MI

Bedrooms:
Bedroom #1-main floor, largest bedroom with king bed, brand new attached full bath, and extra room for at least two air mattresses if needed.

Bedroom #2,#3-second floor both have queen beds
#4-second floor, Master Suite with full bath, private screened in porch overlooking beach and lake, King bed

Bedroom #5-fist floor/ground level TWO sets of bunk beds, Twin over full, large couch, room to sleep at least 5 people.

The distance from back patio door to water is roughly 100 yards of straight sand (no hills or stairs). It's on the water but it's still a walk from back door. This is in Sheridan Beach, the largest beach fronts in this area, no erosion...big, beautiful sandy beach.

Amazing get away close to Chicago

We had a great stay with our family and another family. It was so convenient to walk right out to the beach and the property had everything we needed--chairs, beach toys, a big float, towels, etc. We enjoyed cooking and grilling and going for walks in the neighborhood. We look forward to going back.

Beach Side 40th Anniversary Vacation

House was easy to find and had great access to the beach. Loved the screened in porches and great views of the lake! (Especially from the second story bedroom)There was great communication with the owner and very prompt responses to questions. I would definitely book for a future visit!

Great family vacation!!

Beautiful, clean, and well cared for. Ideal location being close to all the Michigan City activities and restaurants. We particularly loved the two lake facing decks and all the stocked items for the beach. From Tommy Bahama beach chairs to the Lily Pad, this place had it all. Thank you, Maggie, for such a wonderful setup.

Great House, Great Beachfront Location

The house was perfectly located just steps away from the beach. It made it easy to go back and forth with the kids without having to haul things back and forth. Beautiful views and the house was spacious enough for our four families to have our spaces and then to come together to spend time together. Maggie was very responsive on any questions we had. We enjoyed our stay and made some good memories! Thank you!

Beautiful home with a lovely view

This home was perfect for our 3 generation family vacation: beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything we needed for a great vacation. It was a short walk out the back door to a sandy beach. Downtown Chicago is 1 hour away on the train which runs regularly from Michigan City. A great house in a great location!

Awesome will book again

This is a nice house in a great spot. Host is awesome. We will come again. House has tons of space. The back porch is really that nice. The beach is about 40 years away. house has all the water toys so nice not to have to bring all of my own stuff. shopping and restaurants are walkable.

Location, location, location!

Back of house faces Lake Michigan. THREE screened in porches help to enjoy the views! We had three people who “worked from home” during our stay and the house has many nice spaces where they could choose to work. This house is close enough to lighthouse to walk to. Like to sandglass hunt? We found plenty! Close to many good restaurants, public golf course (with the best executive course as well), a botanical garden with walking paths, the outlet mall. House has everything you can think of in the kitchen, plenty of beach towels, sand toys/chairs. My communication with Maggie was quick and she made us feel so welcome - like we were a part of the family!

Great family vacation

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful home on Lake Michigan with our 3 adult children, their significant others and 3 grandchildren ages 4 and under. The house was the perfect size and location for our family. Lots of beach equipment and toys available. We spent a lot of time on the multiple screened porches and took numerous walks along the beach and through the neighborhood. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Location

The property has an incredible view of Lake Michigan and sits right on the beach, sans in your back yard and just steps from the water. Plenty of room for a big group including 2 master suites and a double bunk room for kids was great. So many amenities, everything you’d need is right there. Maggie was fantastic to communicate with as well.

A little slice of heaven

Nice property in a great location. The private beach access was great as public access points were closed due to COVID during our stay. Loved the screened in porches. I would stay at this property all summer if I could!

COVID-19 vacation

We decided to proceed with our planned extended family vacation despite the worldwide pandemic, and we were so happy we did. The house was great, and the beach access made it easy to keep ourselves entertained no matter what else was closed or limited in the area around it. Maggie was a very attentive owner, and communicated well with us through every step of the booking and the actual stay. We would return to this home again for sure.

Beautiful family home with a beautiful view

This home was perfect for our family. We have two young kids and the beach access was easy (no steps). The public access was right next to us too and provided a hard path to take when my kids were tired. The sunset view on the top screened in porch was AMAZING!!! We enjoyed eating dinners in the side screened in porch every evening. The kids LOVED it! The sandy backyard was also another fun place to go with our little ones. We built sandcastles and played frisbee there. We love Lake Michigan for its constantly changing waves- some days it like the ocean and other days it’s like glass. You can’t beat the view of being right on Lake! It felt like we were a thousand miles away. Thanks for renting out your beautiful home, my family made unforgettable memories there. ❤️

Family fun at the beach

The process to rent this property was easy and we had a wonderful time. The home was well equipped inside and out. The kids and adults all had a very fun and relaxing week. We were very comfortable during our stay.

Luxury Lake Living

This fully updated house accommodated all of my friends for Labor Day Weekend. The home is well maintained and super clean. It had all the bells and whistles you could ask for including an open concept kitchen perfect for entertaining. We loved all of the outdoor spaces including two enclosed screen porches. There was also direct beach access just steps away from the home. I highly recommend staying here and I can’t wait to book it again for myself!

Great rental for family vacations

A wonderful home right on the Lake Michigan beach. The house comes with all the beach gear a large family needs. It also has bikes, floating pad, paddle board and kayak etc. and the view from the screened in porches is also great. Wonderful place for a family vacation.

Beautiful View!

Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing! All amenities included with rental are great! We took advantage of shopping at outlet mall, went to the zoo, and chilled out at the lake and the most awesome part for me was the back porch. I loved the morning with my cup of tea and just chilling out! Fabulous. Would rent again and recommend to friends and family. Also, communication with owners was great. Easy to contact. All directions on arrival and departure were clear and easy to follow.

We rented the house for a couples weekend! It was a fantastic time. We grilled out, hung out at the beach, and enjoyed each other's company playing board games. It's a quick trip from Chicago to escape the hustle and bustle. Definitely will be renting again, when we need an easy getaway. It's the perfect set-up for a few couples to get together and rejuvenate.

Girls Weekend!!!

My girlfriends and I chose this house and absolutely LOVED everything about it! The living room and kitchen is all an open space which makes it easy for large groups. The views are out of this world and the owner was amazing with communicating with us the entire time to make sure we were enjoying our trip. We will definitely return next year!

Went here with 6 buddies for N.D. Game place is awesome great bedrooms lookin right out at the lake,close to casino,some real good restaurants owner very good to work with. We will be back ! Go Irish
